Installing Sega CD Genesis Connector
Step 1 - disassembly Plastic Housing
Remove the six screws on the underside of the console
using a medium phillips screwdriver
1/2 inch bronze screws (6)
Step 2
Remove the 2 screws on the side of the console that
attach the Genesis adapter to the rest of the unit using
a medium phillips screwdriver.

Step 3
Ensure the lock on the left of the case is in the unlock
position (slide left as shown) before removing the case.
Step 4
Remove case by lifting up left side, then using the
prying tool, pry the cover out of the genesis attachment
and lift upward.

Finally remove the faceplate on the front by sliding it
up, then pulling it out.
Step 6 - Genesis Connector
Remove 2 screws that attach the Genesis adapter to
the console using a medium phillips screwdriver
Unplug Genesis adapter by carefully pulling it out

Remove the four screws from the metal plate as shown
using a medium phillips screwdriver
Step 8
Carefully remove metal cover from connector as shown
by sliding it up and out

Remove connector from housing
