XMS Exit Motion Sensor

Description

Architectural Specifications

A. The Exit Motion Sensor shall be produced by an ISO 9001 certified manufacturer.
B. The exit device shall employ passive infrared detection to initiate door release and shall

operate on 12 or 24 volt DC.

C. The device shall have an adjustable detector face to allow for precise pattern

configurations, and easy pattern adjustment.

D. The exit device shall have a SP/DT relay output for shunting the alarm or access control

system and field effect transistor for direct control of an electromagnetic lock.

E. The relay shall operate 50 milliseconds before the transistor to suppress false alarms.
F. Wiring is via labeled screw terminals.
