Model HRT3 Room Thermostat
Good looking and reliable, this Horstmann room thermostat is suitable for all mains operated central heating systems
that respond to an electrical on/off signal.
Features
A bimetallic sensor ensures excellent response to temperature changes and the simple rotating dial allows setting
between 5°C and 35°C.
Installation Instructions
Should be mounted directly onto the wall using built in patress (see pic.1). It should be located in a regularly heated
area about 1,5m above floor level. It should not be exposed to draughts, and should be away from internal heat
sources and direct sunlight.

To remove the knob
Turn the knob to the maximum temperature position (35°).
Insert the blade of a screwdriver in the fissure between
the knob and the top cover.
Use the screwdriver as lever to remove the knob (see pic.2).
To remove the top cover.
Remove the cover retaining screw situated behind the control knob.
Then press lightly with a screwdriver on the fixing hooks either
side and remove cover (see pic.3).
