ANCHORING YOUR SAFE
In order to fulfill the requirements of the EN certification your safe must be
anchored to a suitable wall or floor using the masonry fixing kit supplied.
1. Place the safe in the position
you have selected. Before
marking or drilling any holes
ensure that there are no pipes or
cables present at the fixing
point. If there is skirting board
present this should be removed
to allow the safe to be fitted
flush against the wall.
2. Open the safe and remove any shelves.
3. Using a pencil or sharp object, mark out the position of the two drilling
holes; use the base or rear holes (whichever provide fixing to the stronger
material)
4. Close the safe and remove it to provide sufficient space to drill the fixing
holes.
5. Using a hammer drill – drill holes 80mm deep. The bolts are 10mm in
diameter, you will need an 11mm concrete drill bit
6. Clear the drill holes and remove any debris using a vacuum cleaner.
7. Secure the safe using the bolts supplied. Do this by feeding the bolt
directly through the hole in the safe into the hole in the anchoring
material. Use a socket wrench to fully tighten the bolts in place

ELECTRONIC LOCK
The lock is operates with a numeric six digit code or a word of six letters. A secondary code
can be added if required. Each key press is confirmed with an audio and light signal.
TO OPEN (figure A)
Enter code (the factory code is set as 1 2 3 4 5 6). Two beeps will be heard and a green
light will flash. Turn the D ring handle and open the safe. If the safe is not opened within 3
seconds please repeat.
TO LOCK
Close the door and turn the handle fully to the closing position.
MANIPULATION PROTECTION
If four consecutive invalid codes are entered the key pad is blocked for 5 minutes. During
this period the light will flash every 10 seconds and pressing any key produces a long
beep. After this 5 minute period entering two more invalid codes restarts this 5 minute
blocking period.
CHOOSING NEW CODES
We strongly advise that personal data (i.e. birthdays, home telephone numbers etc) is
avoided and that your code is committed to memory only – not written down. Change the
factory code before you begin using the safe.
ACTIVATE THE SECOND OPENING CODE (Figure B)
Press and hold key 1 until a double beep is heard. The light remains on during the
following actions.
Enter the main code (this will be 123456 at the first time of using)
Enter the secondary 6 digit code twice (a double beep will be heard after each time the
code is entered)
(The secondary code can be changed in the same way as the main code. The main code
can delete the secondary code however the main code cannot be deleted)
CHANGING THE CODE (Figure C)
With the door open:
Press and hold 0 until a double beep is heard.
Enter the current code (this will be 123456 at the first time of using)
Enter the new 6 digit code a double beep will be heard
Enter the new 6 digit code again a double beep will be heard
(If an error is made a long beep will be heard and the original code remains active)
DELETING THE SECOND CODE (Figure D)
Press and hold 3 until a double beep is heard. The light remains on.
Enter the main code the secondary code is deleted.
LOW BATTERY
A series of beeps indicates the battery needs replacing. Slide the cover on the bottom of
the keypad to the side and replace the 9V alkaline battery. Do not use rechargeable
batteries!
