Before Installation
Before installing your camera, you have to read the following cautions.
1. You have to check whether the location can bear ve times of the weight of your camera.
2. Don’t let the cable to be caught in improper place or the electric line cover to be damaged. Otherwise
it may cause a breakdown or re.
3. When installing your camera, don’t allow any person to approach the installation site. If you have any valuable things under the place, move them away.

To detach the body from ush mount bracket, turn the body CCW and pull.

Disassemble the camera. See the section ‘Disassemble the Camera’ for details.

Using the template sheet, make the ush mount bracket hole on the ceiling.

After inserting the cables through ush mount bracket into the ceiling hole and fox the ush mount bracket on the ceiling using the screws provided.

Connect the cables respectively. See the section 'Cabling' for details.

After inserting the body into the ush monut bracket, turn of clockwise to x the body to the ush mount bracket.
As below, when you insert the body into the ush mount bracket, align the red point of body with red point of ush mount bracket.

To achieve desired view direction and orientation, rotate 3-axis gimbal. To x the setting, tighten the tilt stopper screw.

Put on the dome cover to the body.

Using the template sheet, make the hole on the ceiling.

After inserting the cables through ush mount bracket, insert the ush mount bracket into the ceiling hole.

To hook the ush mount bracket, push and turn head screw clockwise using the +driver.

Check Points before Operation
Check Points before Operation
1. Before power is applied, please check the cables carefully.
2. The camera ID of the controller must be identical to that of the camera to be controlled. The camera ID can be check in the system information of OSD menu.
3. If your controller supports multi-protocols, the protocol must be changed to match to that of the camera.
4. If you changed camera protocol by changing DIP switch, the change will be eective after you reboot the camera. (It’s only for DIP switched product.)
5. Since the operation method can be dierent for each controller available, refer to the manual for your controller if camera cannot be controlled properly.

Move the Cursor Up/Down to Choose Menu
To move from items to item in the menu, move the joystick to the Up/Down.

For all menu level, to go into sub menu, press near/enter key.
Once select the ‘EXIT’, shift to the OSD main screen. Once select the ‘RETURN’, shift to the previos menu.

Setup the general functions of camera module.
EXPOSURE
Start ‘EXPOSURE’ setup screen.
WDR / BLC OFF : HLC / BLC / WDR OFF. HLC : High Lux Masking masks areas in the image that are overly
exposed to light. If selected, you can adjust the masking level. Adjust the level from 0 (only areas with a lot of light will be masked)~20. BLC : Backlight Compensation. If selected, BLC Zone size and location is adjustable.
BLC OSD : BLC Zone OSD ON / OFF H-POS : Adjust BLC Horizontal Position. V-POS : Adjust BLC Vertical Position. H-SIZE : Adjust the width of the BLC Masking area. V-SIZE : Adjust the height of the BLC Masking area.
WDR : Wide Dynamic Range. If selected, WEIGHT is adjustable.
DAY&NIGHT
Start ‘DAY&NIGHT’ setup screen.
WHITE BAL AUTO: The camera performs white balance automatically. OUTDOORWB: WB will be done under assumption of Sun light. INDOORWB: WB will be done under assumption of Indoor illumination. PRESET: WB is executed once on the scene you designated. MANUAL: If MANUAL mode is selected, define the following menu
options;
KELVIN : The color temperature level that will trigger the AWB. R-GAIN : Adjust the amount of red in the image.
The higher the number, the image will appear red. The lower the number, the image will appear green.
B-GAIN : Adjust the amount of blue in the image. The higher the number, the image will appear blue. The lower the number, the image will appear yellow.
AUTOext: WB will be done under the assumption of special illumination like halogen.

SHUTTER SHUTTER AUTO : The shutter’s speed adjusts automatically based on
the light available. SHUTTER MANUAL : The shutter speed can be adjusted between 1/30~1/60000.
SENS-UP
Slow shutter speed.
AGC
Enhance the brightness of the image by amplifying gain when the illumination is low.
DNR
If reduces the noise caused by ‘AGC’ action. If set towards ‘HIGH’, the noise will be reduced but the ghost effect on moving objects will be increased.
AE LOCK
Enable/Disable of auto exposure locking.
ANTI FLK
Remove banding effect that occurs around fluorescent light.

depending on the level of light.
COLOR : The camera always stays in day mode (Color). B&W : The camera always stays in night mode (B/W).

Set antisaturation as using IR.
BW LV
It is a level to change day mode into night mode when day & night mode is auto.
COLOR LV
It is a level to change Night mode into day mode into night mode when day & night mode is auto.

Setup the Privacy.

You can hide some parts of the screen for privacy purposes. A total of 30 privacy masks are available.
How to setup a Privacy Zone:
1.
Go to function menu, and select Privacy ON. Enter the sub-menu.
(All 30 masks will appear in their default position).
2. Select the zone number you want to adjust. Select from 0 (top left mask) to 29 (bottom right mask).
3. You can select to show or hide a specific mask by selecting the mask number, going to ZONE OP and selecting ON to display, OFF to hide. (Note: to hide all but one mask, go to each mask number except the one you want to display and select OFF).
4. Use the X-POS to adjust the horizontal location of the mask. Select 0 (far left) ~ 57 (far right).
5. Use the Y-POS to adjust the vertical location of the mask. Select 0 (top of the screen) ~ 31 (bottom of the screen).
6. Use the X-SIZ to adjust the width of the mask. Select 0 (no display) ~ 60 (screen-wide).
7. Use the Y-SIZ to adjust the length of the mask. Select 0 (no display) ~ 34 (screen-tall).
8. If necessary, adjust the color of the mask from the 8 options available.
9. You can adjust the transparency of the mask by selecting 0 (only the outline of the mask is visible) ~ 4 (the entire mask is visible).
NOTE: if the mask’s transparency is set to 0, playback video will display the mask as an outline only, and the image behind the mask will be recorded.

If camera ID is changed, ID of RS485 controller should be changed accordingly. Numbering for ID should be changed consecutively. OSD controller is easy to change camera ID.(Optional accessory)
