All settings related to video capturing can be changed in the Capture settings menu. T o keep privacy at the highest level, the video capturing and camera powering from VIDNET power supply are directly related. It also affects the camera powered from extra power supply . VIDNET will capture video if this action is granted in the Capture settings menu.

It is recommended to give an appropriate name to a camera. The system will use it to send information to ALARMSERVER.NET or to SECOLINK PRO application . For next character possition press [] or [] key . To delete a character move the cursor on wrong character and press [0]. Press [Ü] or [7] key for the next camera.

Intruder alarm system with video module VIDNET on board is not a CCTV surveillance system that simply records videos that are accessed by the system user. Rather, VIDNET is a complete video alarm system that sends a short video clip with the alarm notification to the SECOLINK PRO app for immediate review and it can also link the video with the central monitoring station (CMS). VIDNET delivers faster response to an actual crime scene because the user or CMS operator filter out false alarms. The system should include at least one analog camera covering assets and key entrance points where a thief, vandal, or trespasser could show up. Up to four analog cameras can be connected to

1. REGISTRATION OF THE ALARM SYSTEM IN ALARMSERVER.NET
ALARMSERVER.NET is simply a service platform that keeps in sync end user devices which have the SECOLINK PRO app installed with the alarm system. Status (armed/disarmed, alarms, troubles), temperature in premises (measured by temperature sensors BT1, BP1, or keypads), and video recordings made by VIDNET can all be monitored using the service. This platform is also useful to installers to remotely monitor alarm system's performance and to remotely update system settings. This communication uses data service and charges may apply . Note: Y ou must first register your system with a server before using ALARMSERVER.NET .

Mandatory settings:
This menu is used to register your intruder alarm system on ALARMSERVER.NET and to send any settings related to communication. It is mandatory to register your system with a server, if SECOLINK PRO application will be used to control the system via TCP/IP . After a successful registration go to www.alarmserver .net to create a free account. Important! The registration on server process should be repeated if any settings described below are changed.

Reporting in this menu the user can change settings for reports on ALARMSERVER.NET .
Periodic test – the module can send a test message periodically: every 10 min, 30 min, 1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours, 48
hours or it can be disabled.
Technical info – the module can send technical information periodically: every 10 min, 1 hour, 24 hours, every 1
week, or disabled.
Every event – to view present status of the system, all new generated events (e.g. arming/disarming, alarms and etc.) should be sent to ALARMSERVER.NET . This setting must be enabled, if SECOLINK PRO application will be used to control the system via TCP/IP .
Event log – the event log could be sent periodically: every 10 min, 1 hour, 24 hours, every 1 week or disabled. This menu disappears if Every event setting is Yes.
Motion detection – the system can send a list of violated zones during the predefined time period. This time period is directly related to report sending period: every 10 min, 1 hour, 24 hours, every 1 week, or disabled.
Use GPRS as backup – if the communication with a server is not established via LAN, the system will try to establish the connection with a server via GPRS (3G).
TCP control – this setting must be enabled, if SECOLINK PRO application will be used to control the system via TCP/IP . Module will have a keep-alive connection with a server to ensure real - time control.

Reporting
Privacy settings in this menu the user can change privacy settings.
Report user names – selecting an option Yes will allow the system to send user names to ALARMSERVER.NET ,
which can be viewed in SECOLINK PRO application. If No will be selected the application will show default system names such as User 01 or User 02.
Report zone names – selecting an option Ye s will allow the system to send zone names, partitions and other information (except user names) to ALARMSERVER.NET, which can be viewed in SECOLINK PRO application. The
application will show default zone names such as Zone 01 or Zone 02, if the user will select an option No.
Save event log – selecting an option Yes will allow the user to view the system's saved event log in the application.
Event log will not be seen with an option No.

Optional settings:
To remotely modify the existing system project, upload it to ALARMSERVER.NET using the Send project to server menu. Uploaded project is automatically assigned to the installer who maintains the user's system account. An installer can download the project from server to computer and modify it using the MASCAD software. To apply system changes, the modified project should be uploaded back to the server. When this action is done, an installer should notify the user to download the modified project to the system using the Receive prj. from server menu.

If Video capture setting is set to Always, then the camera will always be powered.
There will be no video loss during an alarm or when arming/disarming. The recorded video will start 2-3 seconds before the event and end 5-10 seconds after the event.
It will be possible to record video at all
times in case of an alarm or other conditions as well as view live video stream.
If Video capture setting is set to When armed, then proceed to the corresponding arming mode sub-menu to mark partitions. Press the [ENT] key to enter the menu, then press [#] to assign a partition to arming mode. Save changes by pressing the [ENT] key. The intruder alarm system will supply power to cameras and will start capturing videos when any of the selected partitions is armed in arming mode assigned to that specific partition. If the system is programmed to record a video in the event of arming or disarming, then it will not be as long as it could be with Video capture set to Always.
Camera video capture and power can be turned off using the Video settings menu (Main Menu }Controls }Video settings). If this setting is set to Yes, then VIDNET will automatically supply the power to cameras and will start video capture next time the system will be armed.

If Capture when alarming setting is set to Yes, then VIDNET will automatically supply the power to cameras and will start video capture regardless of what is programmed in the Capture video when Armed setting, or if the power supply for video cameras is manually turned Off. Video capturing will be turned Off when alarm is cleared.

3. VIDEO RECORDING SETTINGS
All settings related to video recording can be changed in Recording settings menu. To correctly setup the video recording settings read the instructions below.

In the event of arming or disarming a selected partition, the module will send the recorded video to ALARMSERVER.NET, or save it to micro SD card. Press the [ENT] key to enter the menu, then press [#] to assign a partition to camera. Save changes by pressing [ENT].
In the event of an alarm from selected zones, the module will send the recorded video to ALARMSERVER.NET, or save it to micro SD card. Press the [ENT] key to enter the menu, then press [#] to assign zones to camera. Save changes by pressing [ENT].
Video can be recorded if selected zones are violated in spite of that system being armed or disarmed, or if there is an alarm from this zone. The module will send the recorded video to ALARMSERVER.NET, or save it to micro SD card. Press the [ENT] key to enter the menu, then press [#] to assign zones to camera. Save changes by pressing [ENT].
Video can be recorded if the module detects motion in the area that is being captured by the camera. The module will send the recorded video to ALARMSERVER.NET, or save it to micro SD card.
Video can be recorded if the module detects loss of video stream from selected cameras. The module will send the recorded video to ALARMSERVER.NET, or save it to micro SD card.

Video module can be programmed to send recorded video files to ALARMSER VER.NET, or to save files locally to micro SD card (card content can be accessed by use the software supporting files of the H.264 format). Storing video files on a server has many advantages. SECOLINK PRO application installed on smartphones or tablets allows you to easily view files. Additionally, files can be viewed on any device's (smartphone, tablet, or computer) browser that is connected to the Internet. A user can participate in our V oucher system which includes storage rental for files and communication between an intruder alarm system, server , and end user devices (smartphone, tablet, or computer). Contact your system installer to get this code. TRIAL voucher will be activated automatically when a new system is added to any user's account for the first time (see table below).TRIAL includes features like system control over TCP/IP, push notifications, video clip storage, and review using an app or web browser's window. TRIAL period is 10 days. When this period expires, TRIAL will be downgraded to IP VIDNET . IP VIDNET plan is free of charge and valid for unlimited time. An account can be upgraded to IP VIDNET EXTRA. The subscription period could be one, two, or three years.

Recorded video clips can be sent to ALARMSERVER.NET via 3G modem that is integrated to VIDNET module or using LAN interface.

5. ASSIGNING USER'S APP TO THE SYSTEM
1. Run application SECOLINK PRO and tap Let's start.
2. Enter your name and your phone number. Choose Yes in setting In use and enter details related to login to server ALARMSERVER.NET. Press Done to continue.
3. Select an alarm system. Tap and hold for more details. Press Done to start data downloading from the ALARMSERVER.NET
4. Enter system name and PIN code. Use Encrypt PIN if SMS will be used to control the system. Check the Consists of the system. Press Done to continue.
1. Go to www.alarmserver .net.
2. Click Register at the center of the page (skip steps 2 - 4, if user already have an account).
3. Click on Create account button on End User column.
4. Fill in required fields: name, country, e-mail, p assword, and system BI. To find system BI, please watch a video posted below these fields. Click Register to proceed.
5. Login using your e-mail and password. Press Sign in to proceed. T o reset the password click Set new link.
6. Enter system name and location. System BI number entered during registration should be visible in the corresponding field. Press Save (on the right) to proceed.
7. Added system will appear on the list. The TRIAL voucher will be automatically activated when a new system is added to any user’s account for the first time.

5. Enter SIM phone number which is installed in the alarm system. Determine which plans are enabled in this SIM card.
6. Choose method of commu­nication with the alarm system.
7. Choose which notifications will be sent by the alarm system to the application. Press Done to save.
8. Home screen of the app. It is recommended to test it before using the app. T ap Status.
9. Tap Video to view LIVE video stream.
13. Tap whichever event to watch an attached video.
14. Use the bottom menu to control video preview. Tap on any video screen to expand it.
15. T o return to home screen tap few times.
16. Application is ready to use. Enjoy!

11. Tap to start video recording, tap to turn on playback mode. T ap to return to home screen.
12. All new system events are stored in the menu Events, Users. T ap on it to enter.
