IMPORTANT NOTES
• Do not cut DC jack or RJ45 jack as warranty will be voided.

Before Starting
1. Please read this manual carefully and keep it for
future reference.
2. Use the camera within given temperature and
electrical limits.
3. Do not mount in areas exposed to radiation, strong
magnetic fields, or strong electrical signals.
4. Do not point the camera at the sun. Heat could
damage the camera, even when not in use.
5. Do not open or disassemble the camera. There are
no field-serviceable parts inside.
6. Do not drop the camera or subject it to strong
vibrations.
Installation
1. Run a 12VDC power supply wire and cable with
an RJ45 jack through the wall at the location
where the camera is to be mounted. The 12VDC
power supply wire is not required if using PoE.
2. Install and Execute "Device Config Tool" on a
computer connected to the same network as the
camera.
3. Press the "Search" button. This will search for IP
cameras connected to the same router on the
network. It may take several seconds to
complete. Default IP address is 192.168.1.168.
4. Once the search is complete, click on the camera
IP or type the IP address manually using Internet
Explorer.
5. IP Address: The camera may use Dynamic or
Static IP addressing. An example of a typical
static IP setting is as follows:

last column)

6. Input "admin" for user ID and password. If this is
the user's first time logging into the camera, the
user will be prompted for a new password.
NOTE: If the password is unknown, hold the
RESET button located on the camera for
about 10 seconds and reload "Device
Config Tool".
7. In order to access the camera web interface, the
user will be prompted to download and install the
Active-X web plugin.
8. Once installed, the user will be able to view live
camera video and modify necessary
configurations.

Profile 1: Display Color 24/7
When using this profile, the white LED will only be activated during the nighttime for color display,
and the white LED cannot be used as a deterrence. If the IPC is connected to an ENFORCER NVR
via the Private Protocol, please use the NVR interface to adjust the settings.
Step 1 – Default All Settings
1. Go to Remote Setting > System > Maintenance > Load Default.
2. Select All at the top of the menu.
3. Click Save and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
Step 2 – Access Image Control
1. Go to Remote Setting > Channel > Image Control.
2. Set Image Setting to Full Color Mode.
3. Set White Light to Automaticmode or Schedule.
NOTES
• In Automatic Mode, the white LED will be activated when the surrounding environment
becomes dark. This mode is recommended for outdoor use.
• In Schedule Mode, the white LED will be activated on a set schedule. This mode is
recommended for indoor use.

Profile 2: White LED as Deterrence
When using this profile, the camera will perform as a regular IP 5MP 2.8mm Turret. The white LED
will only be activated when an alarm event occurs. Below is a sample application for general use
and users should adjust any of the settings depending on their own use case.
Step 1 – Default all settings
1. Go to Remote Setting > System > Maintenance > Load Default.
2. Check every box in this menu.
3. Click Save and follow the instructions on the screen to complete the process.
Step 2 – Turn Off Motion Detection
Go to Remote Setting > Event > Setup > Motion > Enable: OFF.

Step 3 – Set a Detection Mode
To set a Detection Mode, go to Remote Setting > AI > Setup > PD&VD.
NOTE: Pedestrian & Vehicle Detection is recommended for the best performance. The instructions
for AI Settings are available in the web administration manual.
Step 4 – Alarm setting for the corresponding AI function
1. Go to Remote Setting > AI > Alarm > PD&VD.
2. Turn on Deterrent.
NOTE: Use Schedule if users want this function to be active only during the nighttime.

Step 5 – Change image Setting to Day/Night Mode
1.To change the setting to Day and Night mode go to Remote Setting > Channel > Image
Control.
2.Set Image Setting to Day/Night Mode.
Step 6 – Turn on Deterrence
1. Go to Remote Setting > Event > Setup > Deterrence.
2. Turn Light On.
3. Set Duration between 5~180 seconds (default: 5).
4. Turn Color Image On to view video display in color; Off to view in black and white.
5. Choose Deterrence Mode: Light Warning or Light Strobe.
6. Adjust Sensitivity 1~8 (default: 4).
