• Never reach into the heat press with your hands when it is connected to the
power supply, particularly when it is switched on and heated up – danger of
severe burns!
• Never open the housing or attempt to modify the machine yourself.
• In case you are requested by the Secabo customer support to open the
heating plate cover, please make sure you are wearing respiratory protection
and only touch the contained insulation wool with gloves. Any disposal of the
wool must be contained in a closed bag.
• Ensure that liquids and metal objects do not get into the inside of the heat
press.
• Ensure that the power socket used is grounded. Note that it is only
permissible to operate a heat press from a power socket protected by a
ground fault protection switch.
• Disconnect machine from power outlet when not in use!
• Never operate the heat press within the reach of children and never leave the
machine unsupervised when switched on.
• Ensure that the machine is used only in dry rooms.

2 Scope of Delivery

5 Operation
• Use the power cable included in the delivery to connect the transfer press
with a 230V power socket.
• Switch on the press with the flip switch on the back.
• The small lamp next to “Current Temp“ is on, the current temperature is
shown on the display. By pressing “SAVE“ or “CLEAR“ you can choose
between “°C“ and ”°F“.
• Select the individual menu items by pressing ”SELECT“.
• Set the desired temperature (“Setting Temp.“) and the desired time (“Setting
Time”) by selecting ”SAVE“ or ”CLEAR“. Confirm the entry by pressing “SAVE”
for longer.
• Select the "START/STOP" button to start the heating process to the set
temperature.
• “Temp. Rising“ will light up.
• When the set temperature is reached, you will hear a signal and the small
lamp will light up “Temp. Hold“.
• Now you can carry out the first transfers. The time clock will start running as
soon as the press is closed with the press lever.
• You will see the time on the display.
• You will hear a warning signal after the set time has expired.
• You can regulate the contact pressure by increasing or reducing the leverage
by turning the large fixing screw on the upper side of the press. The contact
pressure is increased by turning in the clockwise direction. The pressure is
reduced by turning in the other direction.
• No settings can be changed during the pressing process.
• With each completed pressing process the counter will rise by one, when the
stated time has completely expired.
• Reset the counter by pressing “CLEAR“ for a longer moment. Previously select
the menu item “COUNTER“ by pressing “SELECT”.

6 Maintenance and cleaning
Maintenance work should always be accomplished with the press switched off and
cooled down. The plug must first be disconnected from the power socket. Consult
Technical Support before carrying out any maintenance work.
Clean the press regularly with a soft cloth and mild household cleaner to remove
adhesive residues etc. Never use scouring sponges, solvents or gasoline!

These values are only guidelines; they can vary from material to material and
should always be checked before pressing.
