DEW (MOISTURE CONDENSATION)
The VCP has a built-in a humidity eliminator unit to dry the metal surfaces, when humidity is high, to prevent damage to the tape. When the VCP is moved from a cold area to a warm area, a lot of moisture forms on the metal surfaces. The DEW indicator will light and the VCP will not operate except for the EJECT mode. If this occurs, connect the power cord to the AC line, press "POWER" ON/OFF button on and wait for the VCP to dry out. (DEW light goes out.)

"Note to CATV system installer: this reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer's attention to Article 820-40 of the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to the point of cable entry as practical."
