Compactor ram in lowest position
This trash will compact later
A ram inside the compactor forces trash down to about one-fourth its original size by using pressure The ram does not go to the bottom of the drawer. Because of this you will not see compacting the first few times you run the compactor.
However, this trash will be compacted later
The container must be at least one-third full of loose trash before you notice any compacting.
IMPORTANT:
E>
Glass bottles, jars, and other glass containers will sometimes break with a loud noise. This is normal.

The textured steel top resists smudges and fingerprints. Helps keep your freestanding compactor looking clean and smart.
