2. Place the base on clean level ground that is free from debris and sharp objects. Make sure not to place on any surface that may be damaged by water. This fountain is for outdoor use only.
4. Place both lights in the round indents in the bottom of the basin and tip them to spot light the water falls area. The lights are soft lighting meant to be seen at night.
5. Hook the wires into the plastic retainers to keep the wires neat.
6. The hose is curled up in the top section, pull out and set top section in place and thread the hose through the middle hole at the same time.
7. Connect pump outlet to hose. Make sure the hose is not crimped as it will restrict the water flow.
8. Fill basin with water.
9. Plug pump into appropriate outdoor outlet. (If you are unclear about what is an appropriate outlet, please consult a certified electrician familiar with local codes.)
10. Check water flow and examine fountain for leaks.
11. Put the pump cover in place.
12. Enjoy your fountain – please remember to keep adding water as needed. Hint: If bubbles start to show in the water outlet, it is usually because the water is too low and the pump intake is starting to suck in air. Add water until the air bubbles go away.

Precautions:
Excessive weight or pressure on any of the fountain sections may cause it to tip or fall over. Keep pets and
children away from any of the fountain sections. Do not place any items on the edge of the bowl – such as a potted plant. If the entire fountain falls into the water accidentally, turn off the circuit breaker immediately.
Do not operate the fountain if the pump has been dropped or has a
damaged power cord or plug.
If the plug or your wall receptacle gets wet due to water dripping down
the power cord or for any other reason, do not remove the plug from the wall outlet until the circuit breaker is turned off.
NOTE: Allow the pump power cord to hang at a lower level than the
wall outlet to form a “drip loop”. This will help prevent water from dripping down the power cord and getting
into the wall outlet.
