9 Consult vehicle manufacturer’s handbook or a proprietary manual for guidance on securing and supporting vehicles being worked on.
WarninG! ensure Health and Safety, local authority and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using tools. Do not work under or around a vehicle until it is securely supported or held. Do not use tools if damaged.
Do not use air tools to operate the force screw. 9 Maintain tool in good and clean condition for best and safest performance. 9 Wear approved eye protection. A full range of personal safety equipment is available from your Sealey stockist. 9 Wear suitable clothing to avoid snagging. Do not wear jewellery and tie back long hair.

4. operation
4.1. Position tool on joint.
4.2. Tighten thrust bolt using a spanner or ratchet to apply tension to the vehicle’s joint.
4.3. Strike vehicle joint with a hammer to shock joint loose. Several strikes to the
jointmay benecessarytoloosenitsu󰀩cientlytobedisassembled.
note: Do not strike the tool with a hammer or other heavy object.
4.4. A returned tool showing signs of abuse will be exempt from any Warranty claim.
enVironment protection
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
