1. saFetY
Warning! the blade used is sharp and should be treated with due caution. 9 store the cutter in a safe childproof place when not in use. 9 use in a suitable, clean and tidy work area, free from unrelated materials. ensure there is adequate lighting. 9 Wear protective gloves.
8 DO nOt continue to attempt cutting any pipe that withstands penetration. 8 DO nOt insert a nger into the cutting area at any time. 8 DO nOt turn the pipe whilst cutting. 8 DO nOt allow untrained people to use the cutter. 8 DO nOt allow children to use or play with the cutter. 8 DO nOt use the cutter for tasks it is not designed to perform. 8 DO nOt operate cutter if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury. 8 DO nOt operate the cutter when you are tired or under the inuence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
2. intrODuctiOn
universal application pipe cutter designed for where access is restricted. ratchet mechanism allows cutting without having to rotate the tool
completely around the tubing. Cuts up to 3mm thick and is suitable for the toughest materials including stainless steel exhaust pipes. Tightening screw allows quick and easy jaw adjustment and enables a one handed operation. Ensures fast and problem free cutting of exhaust pipes and
limits the risk of hand fatigue and personal injury.

4. OperatiOn
1. Place exhaust or tubing into the cutter
jaws.
4. rotate up and down engaging the ratchet one way and cutting the other, continue round to the beginning where the jaws will lock back into the open position.

2. turn clockwise to tighten jaw.
5. tighten the cutting jaws as in (2) and
repeat steps until the exhaust/tubing is
cut.

3. Pull knob out and down in one movement to engage the ratchet and start the cutting procedure.
to replace the cutting blade remove the circlip (a) and slide out bolt (b). replace with Vs16371B
Periodically lightly oil the rollers and screw spindle.
