1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Please take time to read the following safety information before commencing work with this pump.
WARNING! Ensure health & safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are
strictly adhered to when using this equipment.
Familiarise yourself with the applications, limitations and potential hazards of this product.
Maintain the pump in good condition (use an authorised service agent).
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Non authorised parts will invalidate the
warranty.
Use only with oils, diesel, anti-freeze and other non-corrosive fluids.
Ensure safety eye protection and protective clothing are worn when using this product.
Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure that there is adequate lighting.
Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.
Dispose of waste liquids in accordance with local authority regulations.
Keep a foam or dry powder fire extinguisher nearby.
Ensure that containers cannot easily be knocked over during filling.
Remove all combustible materials from the work area.
HSE guidance recommends use of metal containers with secure caps for holding drained fuel.
Mark fuel containers with hazard labels to identify the contents.
Keep any fuel containers in a well ventilated, lockable store, preferably away from the working area.
Soak up any spill immediately using absorbent granules or similar material.
DO NOT use to extract corrosive fluids.
DO NOT dism antle, tamper with or adapt th e pump for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
DO NOT use the pump if it has been dropped or mishandled, check the pump to ensure that it is not damaged.
DO NOT use the pump as a handle to move the fluid container.
WARNING! DO NOT allow uncontrolled discharge of fluids, thus polluting the environment.
DO NOT use an open flame or smoke anywhere near the pump or around stored fuel.
DO NOT use the pump to transfer hazardous or harmful chemicals, corrosive liquids, solvents,
alkalies or acids.
DO NOT use the pump with water.
DO NOT allow work which can produce a source of ignition, such as welding, electrical or other hot
work, to be carried out whilst dispensing fuel.
DO NOT use cordless or mobile phones, ensure these items are turned off before dispensing fuel.
DO NOT use the pump for any purpose other than for which it is designed.
DO NOT use whilst under the infuence of drugs, alcohol or other intoxicating medication, or if you
are fatigued.
Keep the pump clean and well oiled and store in a safe, dry, childproof location when not in use.
Users/Businesses should perform their own hazard risk assessment based on
their specific environment and following the guidelines laid out above.
2. INTRODUCTION
Heavy-duty pump suitable for use with low viscosity products such as oils, diesel, anti-freeze and other
non-corrosive fluids. Supplied with 2"BSP adaptor and 3 piece dip tube, suitable for use on 205ltr drums.
Delivery approximately 1ltr per revolution, emptying 205ltr drum in 3 minutes.

3. CONTENT/ASSEmBLY
3.1. Unpack and identify the parts as shown in fig.1.

5. 2" BSP Drum top Attachment
6. output Pipe (with jubilee clip)
3.2. Attach the handle (1) to the pump's spindle and secure in place with 12mm head bolt.
3.3. Assemble the tubes as follows, firstly screw one of the upper tubes (4) into the pump and then slide
the drum top attachment (5) over the tube and secure it in place by tightening the thumb screw.
Screw the other upper tube into the first tube (if full depth required), and then screw the lower tube
(3) into the upper tube.
3.4. Attach the output pipe (6) onto the pump outlet ensuring it is pushed fully home. Secure it in place
using the jubilee clip.
3.5. Before using the pump for the first time, it needs to be filled with oil. Stand the pump in its normal
upright position and remove the oil filler cap on the front of the pump. Fill with suitable oil (SAE 30 or
equivalent), until it is level with the bottom of the filler aperture. Re-fit the oil filler cap and tighten.
3.6. Feed lower tube into fluid container and secure the drum top attachment onto the container top
(if required). the pump is now ready to use.
3.7. turn the pump handle in a clockwise direction to pump fluid.
3.8. Periodically remove the filter by unscrewing it from the bottom tube and clean it in paraffin before
re-fitting it.
