Thank you for purchasing a Sealey product. Manufactured to a high standard, this product will, if used according to these instructions, and properly maintained, give you years of trouble free performance.

p WARNING! Suitable only for automotive circuits. Not suitable for 110 - 230V applications.
1. SAFETY
 Observe standard workshop safety procedures when using the TA120/121.
p WARNING! The Fuse blade may become hot during testing. Allow to cool before removing. p WARNING! DO NOT exceed Maximum Load: 20A/48V for Max 10sec.
 Ensure vehicles ignition, is switched OFF, before connecting or disconnecting TA120/121.  Keep the work area clean, uncluttered and ensure there is adequate lighting.Keep tools and other
items away from the engine, and ensure you can see the battery and working parts of engine clearly.
 Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes. Remove ill fitting clothing. Remove ties, watches, rings and other loose jewellery. Contain or tie back
long hair.
Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.  DO NOT disassemble. TA120/121 must be checked by qualified service personnel only.  DO NOT get TA120/121 wet or use in damp or wet locations or areas where there is condensation.  DO NOT use TA120/121 for any purpose other than for which it is designed. DO NOT pull by the cables to free from the fuse terminals.  DO NOT operate TA120/121 if damaged. When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof location.

Fast, accurate and safe current measurement at the fuse box. Ideal for fault-finding on car and commercial vehicle electrical circuits. Features large LCD display. Plugs straight into the vehicle’s fuse board.

3. OPERATION
3.1. Measuring
3.1.1. With the vehicle ignition OFF, remove the fuse from the circuit to be tested and insert it into the fuse jack (fig.1.2), this ensures the correct level of circuit protection.
3.1.2. Insert the plug into the vehicle fuse socket.
3.1.3. Switch on the vehicle ignition if required, to energise the circuit and then switch on the tester fig.1.5.
3.1.4. Operate the circuit under test and the LCD will display the measured current.
p WARNING! The Fuse blade may become hot during testing. Allow to cool before touching.
4. MAINTENANCE
4.1. Battery Replacement Power is supplied by a 12V A23S battery. The ‘BAT’ symbol appears on the LCD display when
replacement is required.
p WARNING! To avoid electric shock ensure all inputs are disconnected from any circuit before
removing the battery cover.
To replace the battery, remove the screw from the back of the unit and remove the cover. Remove the exhausted battery and replace with a new observing the connection polarity. Replace cover.
NOTE! Dispose of old battery according to local authority guidelines.
4.2. Cleaning
Clean using a soft damp cloth. Store in a safe, dry, childproof location. .
Environmental Protection.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.
Take to your local recycling centre to be disposed of properly. Do not incinerate battery as it may explode when exposed to fire. Do not attempt to open battery.
