1. safeTY
1.1. eLeCTRICaL safeTY
WaRnInG! it is the user’s responsibility to check the following:
check all electrical equipment and appliances to ensure that they are safe before using. inspect power supply leads, plugs and
all electrical connections for wear and damage. sealey recommend that an rcd (residual current device) is used with all electrical
products. You may obtain an rcd by contacting your local sealey dealer.
if the product is used in the course of business duties, it must be maintained in a safe condition and routinely PAt (Portable
Appliance test) tested.
electrical safety information, it is important that the following information is read and understood.
1.1.1. ensure that the insulation on all cables and on the appliance is safe before connecting it to the power supply.
1.1.2. regularly inspect power supply cables and plugs for wear or damage and check all connections to ensure that they are secure.
1.1.3. Important: Ensure that the voltage rating on the appliance suits the power supply to be used and that the plug is tted with the
correct fuse - see fuse rating in these instructions.
8 dO nOT pull or carry the appliance by the power cable.
8 dO nOT pull the plug from the socket by the cable. Remove the plug from the socket by maintaining a rm grip on the plug.
8 dO nOT use worn or damaged cables, plugs or connectors. ensure that any faulty item is repaired or replaced immediately by a
qualied electrician.
1.1.4. This product is tted with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug.
if the cable or plug is damaged during use, switch the electricity supply and remove from use.
Replace a damaged plug with a BS1363/A 13 Amp 3 pin plug. If in doubt contact a qualied electrician.
class ii products are wired with live (brown) and neutral (blue) onlyare marked with the
class ii symbol;
A) Connect the BROWN live wire to the live terminal ‘L’.
B) Connect the BLUE neutral wire to the neutral terminal ‘N’.
c) After wiring, check that there are no bare wires and ensure that all wires have been correctly
connected.
ensure that the cable outer sheath extends inside the cable restraint and that the restraint is tight.
8 dO nOT connect either wire to the earth terminal.
Sealey recommend that repairs are carried out by a qualied electrician.
1.2. GeneRaL safeTY
9 disconnect the fan from the mains power when not in use and before servicing or performing any maintenance.
9 use the fan in dry areas only. dO nOT use in wet or areas with high condensation such as showers, pools etc.
WaRnInG! if a fan falls into water or other liquid, immediately switch off and disconnect from the mains power supply. dO nOT touch
the fan until the mains power supply has been disconnected.
9 Always disconnect the fan from the power supply when moving it from one location to another and ensure fan is stood on a level
surface.
9 The fan air flow is powerful. Before use ensure that there is nothing nearby that will be damaged or displaced by the stream of air.
9 Keep the fan clean and maintained in good condition. for motor service contact an authorised service agent.
9 use recommended parts only. unapproved parts may be dangerous, and will invalidate your warranty.
8 dO nOT operate the fan where there are explosive or flammable gases, fumes or other hazardous substances.
8 dO nOT stand the fan on the power cable.
8 dO nOT insert any objects through the fan guard.
8 dO nOT cover the fan when in use.
8 dO nOT immerse the fan in water or any other liquid.
8 dO nOT stand the fan where it may be knocked over or off a surface, or where the lead may cause a person to trip.
8 dO nOT use the fan outdoors.
8 dO nOT modify speed control or attempt to t any additional external speed control device to the fan.

9 When not in use place the fan in its original box, or otherwise cover, to protect from dust and store in a safe, dry, childproof
location.
nOTe: this appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. children shall not play with the appliance. cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
2. InTROduCTIOn
manufactured from durable composite material, ergonomically designed to pivot on a 180° axis, maximising the volume and direction of air flow.
these models can also be wall mounted. featuring 3-speed settings, which can ideally be used for intense cooling power or as an air circulator for
the whole room. Fitted with BS fully approved plug.

4. OpeRaTIOn
4.1. The fan can be used either free-standing or wall-mounted (g.1).
4.2. Wall mounting
4.2.1. install 2 x 4mm roundhead screws at 240mm centres in the required position but do not screw home fully.
4.2.2. locate the keyhole slots in the fan base over the screw heads and slide the base down.
4.2.3. tighten screws down over base, taking care not to over-tighten.
4.2.4. The fan head will lock in 10° increments to allow the most effective position to be selected.(g.1)
4.2.5. The fan is supplied with a switch providing ‘off’ and 3 speed settings.(g.2)
4.2.6. When the fan is being used free-standing, ensure that the switch is in the ‘off’ position before connecting to mains power.
4.2.7. Ensure that the ex between the mains plug and the fan is routed so as not to present a trip hazard.
5. MaInTenanCe
WaRnInG! ensure that the fan is disconnected from the mains power supply before attempting any of the following:
5.1.
use a soft, damp cloth to clean the fan.

dO nOT immerse the fan in water and never allow water to drip onto the motor housing. dO nOT use solvents, petroleum, paint
thinner or other chemicals to clean the fan.
5.2.
to clean the fan blade, undo the four screws on the back and remove the front grille. clean the blade with a slightly damp cloth.
replace the front grille and refit the screws.
5.3.
should the motor, switch or the power lead require service or maintenance contact your local service agent.
5.4. When not in use place the fan in its original box or otherwise cover to protect from dust, and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
enVIROnMenT pROTeCTIOn
recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
Weee ReGuLaTIOns
Dispose of this product at the end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid
waste authority for recycling information.
