1. SAFETY
WARNING! DO NOT use wrench if damaged or thought to be faulty. contact service Agent.
WARNING! disconnect from the air supply before changing accessories or servicing. WARNING! due to the possible presence of asbestos dust from brake linings, when working around vehicle brake systems we recommend
you wear suitable respiratory protection.
WARNING! check correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded. We recommend 90psi. 8 DO NOT use the wrench for a task it is not designed to perform. 8 DO NOT use worn, or damaged sockets 8 DO NOT use the wrench unless you have been instructed in its use by a qualified person. 8 DO NOT use the wrench for a task it is not designed to perform. 8 DO NOT carry the wrench by the air hose, or yank the hose from the air supply. 8 DO NOT operate the wrench if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication. 8 DO NOT carry the wrench with your hand on the power trigger in order to avoid unintentional starting. 8 DO NOT direct air from the air hose at yourself or others.
9 maintain the wrench in good condition and replace any damaged or worn parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts
may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
9 Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. check air hose for wear before each use and ensure that all connections are
secure. 9 Only use impact sockets which are specically designed for use with an impact wrench. 9 Wear approved safety eye/face shield, ear defenders and hand protection. 9 follow all workshop safety rules, regulations, and conditions when using the wrench. 9 maintain correct balance and footing. ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes. 9 Keep children and non essential persons away from the working area. 9 When not in use disconnect from air supply and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
2. INTRODuCTION
twin hammer design gives the wrench a high torque output making it suitable for jobs that would normally require a 3/4” impact wrench. Push button style forward/reverse switch enables one handed operation. two stage trigger design offers increased control with feather touch trigger for running up to 272nm and fully depressed for full torque. features hammer cage support mechanism to reduce tool vibration while in operation. composite casing with soft grip makes the tool lighter, easier to handle and helps to reduce vibration and chill. Handle exhaust with built-in silencer to help reduce noise level and limits circulation of brake dust on wheel applications. suitable for heavy-duty use in the professional garage.

4. PREPARATION
WARNING! ensure the air supply is clean and does not exceed 90psi while operating the wrench. too high an air pressure and/or
unclean air will shorten the product life due to excessive wear, and may be dangerous causing damage and/or personal injury.
4.1. AIR SuPPLY ensure the wrench trigger is not depressed when connecting to the air supply.
4.1.1. You will require an air pressure of 90psi, and an air ow according to specication.
4.1.2. drain your compressor air tank of water daily. Water in the air line will damage the wrench.
4.1.3. Clean the compressor air inlet lter weekly. Recommended hook-up procedure is shown in g.1; see also note 4.2.
4.1.4. line pressure should be increased to compensate for unusually long air hoses (over 8 metres). the minimum hose diameter should be
1/4” I.D. and ttings must have the same inside dimensions.
4.1.5. Keep hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. check hose for wear, and make certain that all connections are secure.
4.2. COuPLINGS
4.2.1. Vibration may cause failure if a quick change coupling is connected directly to the wrench. to overcome this, connect a leader hose to
the wrench. A quick change coupling may then be used to connect the leader hose to the air line recoil hose. See g.2 & g.3.

5. OPERATIONoperationi
WARNING! ensure you read, understand and apply safety instructions before use.
5.1. only use impact sockets which are specifically designed for use with an impact wrench.
5.2. connect the wrench to the air hose as in section 4.
5.3. Place the socket fully over the subject nut and depress the trigger to operate the wrench.
5.4. to change the torque direction depress the button in fig.1 and release. depress and release again for both directions. if the button
remains outermost, then reverse direction; innermost then forward direction. See also “F” and “R” symbols on the impact wrench handle.
5.5. A “soft start” torque of 272Nm is available by depressing the primary “feather touch” trigger in fig.1.
5.6. further depression of the secondary trigger in fig.1 provides the maximum torque available.
8 DO NOT use any additional force upon the wrench in order to remove a nut. 8 DO NOT allow the wrench to free run for an extended period of time as this will reduce bearing life.
6. MAINTENANCEm
WARNING! disconnect the wrench from the air supply before changing accessories, servicing or performing maintenance.
6.1. replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.
6.2. if the air system does not have an oiler, lubricate the air wrench daily with a few drops of sealey air tool oil dripped into the air inlet.
6.3. clean the wrench after use with a mild detergent on a moist cloth.
6.4. for a full service contact your local sealey service agent.
6.5. When not in use, disconnect from the air supply, store in a safe, dry, childproof location.
6.6. loss of power or erratic action may be due to the following:
a) excessive drain on the air line. moisture or restriction in the air pipe. incorrect size or type of hose connectors. to remedy check the air supply and follow instructions in section 4. b) Grit or gum deposits in the wrench may also reduce performance. this may be evident in the air strainer, located in the area of the air inlet. flush the wrench out with gum solvent oil or an equal mixture of sAe no 10 oil and paraffin. Allow to dry before use.
