4.1. Conrm that all items are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged please contact the supplier.
4.2. Fig.1 shows a typical air line installation. The lter is located upstream of the regulator - unless combined - and the lubricator downstream.
4.3. Install lter / regulator, before connecting system piping ensure that:
a) gauge is visible b) regulator control is accessible
c) lter drain is accessible
The inlet on the lter-regulators is at the base of the lter body and the outlets are either side of the gauge.
Note: to ensure air-tight joints use Ptfe tape.

5.1. regulator - the output pressure control knob must be lifted before turning. turn clockwise to increase and anticlockwise to reduce pressure. the output pressure will be shown on the gauge. When the required pressure is achieved, push down control knob to lock and prevent inadvertent alteration.
When setting output pressure always adjust up from a lower pressure - i.e. to adjust from 90psi to 70psi, adjust down to 60psi rst,
then up to 70psi..
5.2. Filter - The bowl should be drained daily to prevent an excessive build-up of water/oil. Regularly unscrew the lter housing from the
regulator body to access the lter for cleaning.
