1. SAFETY
DO NOT use the spring compressor for a purpose it is not designed to perform.
DO NOT use the spring compressor if it is damaged.
DO NOT make any modifications to the spring compressor.
Maintain the spring compressor in a good clean condition for the best and safest performance.
When not in use, store in a dry location away from children.
2. INTRODUCTION
Designed to relieve fork spring tension allowing removal of the tube caps from the rod, without damaging
the threads. Can be used with the fork in situ or on the bench. Fits most modern road motorcycles.
Use with 17mm socket.

4. OPERATION
Always refer to the original manufacturer's manual for assembly and dissassembly of motorcycle forks.
4.1. Clamp the fork spring compressor horizontally or vertically in a vice using the utility bracket.
4.2. Adjust the fork spring compressor length to suit the fork length approximately.
4.3. Remove the nut at the top of the fork.
4.4. Locate the bottom of the fork on the compressor pin.
4.5. The two screws on the tool are to align with the two holes in the fork internal sleeve. The fork internal sleeve is an aluminium alloy;
location of the screws and holes is required only. DO NOT apply force to the internal sleeve when locating.
4.6. Using a 17mm socket, tighten the tool pulling down the collar and the spring, which allows access to the nut holding the fork cap in
place.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as
waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted,
taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which
is compatible with the environment.
