1. safety

 Warning! not for doMestiC Use. do not use in basements, high rise flats or leisure vehicles such as caravans or motor

caravans. If used in public buildings, refer to national regulations.
9 Store gas cylinders in accordance with relevant regulations.
9 Gas cylinders should only be used in a vertical position with the valve at the top. ensure that cylinders are safe from damage or

movement.
9 ensure that nothing stands or passes directly in front of the heater. Mandatory minimum distance from the heater is 1 metre.
9 Use the supplied pressure regulator and hose only.
9 ensure continuous ventilation is provided to the heater operating area. A ventilation opening must run to the outside of the premises

where the heater is to be operated. The opening must be 100cm² for every kW and must also be set at an equal distance from the

upper and lower parts of the heater operating area.

 Warning! If the heater is used for prolonged periods at maximum power, ice may form on the propane cylinder. This is due to

excessive evaporation. In such a case do not use the heater to de-ice the cylinder.

8 do not use the heater if damaged. Take immediate action to repair or replace damaged parts. Use an authorised service agent only.
8 do not allow untrained persons to ignite the heater.
8 do not use the heater out of doors or in a wet environment.
8 do not operate the heater without the guard. The guard on this appliance is to prevent risk of fire or injury from burns and no part of it

8 do not operate the heater within 2mtr of the gas cylinders(s)
8 do not use the heater near flammable, combustible or explosive materials - liquids, solids or gases.
8 do not leave the heater unattended whilst in use.

9 Keep the heater clean and in good working order.
9 ensure that the heater is correctly turned off and the gas source isolated when not in use.
9 ensure that the gas hose is safe from being trapped, kinked or twisted.
9 ensure that the heater has cooled down thoroughly before handling.
9 When not in use for any length of time, store heater in a safe, dry, childproof location isolated from the cylinder.

 Warning! If, during use, a smell of gas is noticed; turn off the heater IMMedIATelY by means of the gas bottle supply valve. do not

relight the heater until the source of the smell has been traced and rectified.

 Warning! do not use in basements or areas below ground level.

of being turned on. Highly portable, no power supply required, just connect to gas bottle. Heavy-duty frame and steel mesh guard with durable

4. asseMbly

4.1.  LPH35:(g.1)

4.1.1. Erect the handle (g.4.1) and lock in place by rotating the spring clip over the cross member. (g.4.2)

4.1.2. Deploy the wheel assembly (g.4.3) by pulling out and locking by engaging the catch (g.4.4).

4.2.  LPH125:(g.2)

4.2.1. Attach the wheel assembly to the frame. ensure that the angle of the

bracket points upwards as in g.5.

4.2.2. Push the handle (g.3.1) into the open ends of the frame.

4.2.3. Lock in place by rotating the spring clip (g.3.2) until it locks over the

cross member.

5. installation

note: If too small a small gas cylinder is used, the heater may

not operate at maximum efficiency. It is recommended to
use two or more cylinders linked in parallel, to achieve
maximum continuous efficiency. In this circumstance the
advice of your gas supplier should be sought.

5.1. Connections

5.1.1. Check heater and gas cylinder to ensure that they are
both in good condition. If not, stop and contact your
supplier immediately.

5.1.2. Site the heater and gas cylinder in the location to
be heated, taking the safety warnings in section 1 into
consideration.

 Warning! Before attempting to connect the heater to

the gas bottle, ensure that there are no sources of ignition
in the vicinity and that the area is well ventilated

5.1.3. Connect the gas supply hose to the pressure regulator,
and connect the regulator to the gas cylinder.

note: Propane cylinders are fitted with left hand threads.

5.1.4. Connect the other end of the supply hose to the heater
(fig 6.1. or 8.1.). Ensure all connections are tight. do not use PTFE tape.

5.1.5. open the tap of the gas cylinder gradually. Check hose and all fittings for gas leaks.

 Warning: do not Use a naKed flaMe to CHeCK for leaKs! Use a proprietary leak detector

spray.

6. oPeration - lPH35

6.1. Ensure that the installation is gas-tight, ensuring all the provisions of section 5 have

been met.

6.2. Press the thermocouple override button (g 6.2.) in. This will release gas to enable

ignition.

6.3. Press the igniter button (6.3) repeatedly.

6.4. once lit, keep the override button depressed for about 1 minute. Slowly release the

button and the burner will stay alight.

note: On rst use and after connecting a fresh gas cylinder,hold the override button in for an

extra amount of time allowing air to be purged from the delivery pipe. Keep clicking the
igniter button until the gas ignites.

6.5. To extinguish the heater: screw down the cylinder tap.

6.6. The pressure regulator is factory set and no adjustment is possible. do not

replace with anything but the correct valve for this heater.

6.7. The LPH35 is tted with a tilt switch that will shut off the gas supply in the event of

the heater being knocked over or subjected to extreme vibration. This switch will
reset automatically when the heater is returned to the correct position.

note: Some paint discolouration will occur during use: this is to expected.

 Warning! Remember that the heater will stay hot for a considerable time after being extinguished. do not attempt to move until

cooled thoroughly.

7. oPeration - lPH125

7.1. Ensure that the installation is gas-tight, ensuring all the provisions of section 5
have been met.

7.2. Open the shutter on side of the burner chamber to reveal the pilot ame window

(g.7).

7.3. Turn the control knob (g.8.2.) anticlockwise to the ‘pilot’ position and push in.

7.4. Press the igniter button repeatedly until the pilot ame is seen to be lit within the
burner chamber.

7.5. Keep the control knob depressed until the pilot ame is stable, then release
and turn the knob anticlockwise until ‘on’ is uppermost: the burner will now ignite
and settle to a steady ame.

7.6. Close the shutter over the pilot ame window to guard the pilot ame from

draughts.

note: On rst use and after connecting a fresh gas cylinder, hold the control knob in for

an extra amount of time, allowing air to be purged from the delivery pipe. Keep
clicking the igniter button until the gas ignites.

7.7. to turn off:

7.7.1. If turning off for a short period: turn the control knob to the ‘pilot’

position; the main burner will extinguish leaving the pilot ame alight.

7.7.2. To turn off fully: turn the control knob to the ‘pilot’ position then

press in for about ¼ of its travel when it can be turned clockwise

to the ‘off’ position. Both the main burner and pilot light will be

extinguished.

7.7.3. Screw down the tap on the gas cylinder.

7.7.4. The pressure regulator is factory set and no adjustment is possible.

considerable time after being extinguished. do not attempt to

8. MaintenanCe

 Warning! do not undertake any cleaning or maintenance whilst the heater is connected to the gas supply. ensure that the

heater has cooled thoroughly before working on it.

8.1. The heater should be cleaned at least annually; more often if being used in dusty conditions.

8.2. To clean the heater, use a damp cloth to remove dust; a household cleaner may be used for more stubborn marking.

8.3. To clean the reector on the LPH35, remove the grille by taking the four securing screws out. Ensure that the grille is replaced

before further use.

8.4. The most effective way to clean the interior is to blow out with compressed air. The gas jet should be cleaned by blowing air into it

in the opposite direction from the gas ow.

8.5. Inspect the heater, hose and regulator before each use, checking gas connections with a proprietary leak detector spray. This

will show a gas leak as bubbles forming on the connection. Alternatively, a weak mixture of liquid soap and water can be used.

8.6. If any damage to the gas hose is seen, the hose should be replaced by one of the same specication.

8.7. Similarly, the gas regulator may only be replaced by an identical 37mbar unit.

enVironMent ProteCtion

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to
a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely
unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids
according to local regulations.
