1. safety
1.1. general
ensure the lamp is fully charged before initial use. do not turn the lamp on when it is being charged. do not shine directly into your, another person’s or an animal’s eyes. do not allow children to use the lamp. do not handle or move the lamp whilst it is being charged. do not use the lamp if you suspect that the battery or the lamp casing is damaged. do not leave battery in a discharged state, recharge battery immediately. Before storage, fully recharge the battery, subsequently
recharge the battery at least once every six months of non-use.
1.2. electrical safety for use of charger.
use only the supplied charger plug for connecting lamp to the power supply.
R warning! it is the user’s responsibility to read, understand and comply with the following electrical instructions: You must ensure the risk of electric shock is minimised by the installation of appropriate safety devices. An rccB (residual current circuit Breaker) should be incorporated in the main distribution board. We also recommend that an rcd (residual current device) is used with all electrical products, particularly portable equipment which is plugged into an electrical supply not protected by an rccB. You must also read and understand the following instructions concerning electrical safety.
1.2.1. The Electricity At Work Act 1989 requires all portable electrical appliances, if used on business premises, to be tested by a qualied
electrician, using a Portable Appliance tester (PAt), at least once a year.
1.2.2. the Health & safety at Work Act 1974 makes owners of electrical appliances responsible for the safe condition of the appliance and the safety of the appliance operator. If in any doubt about electrical safety, contact a qualied electrician.
1.2.3. You must ensure that you: inspect the charger plug, cable and connector for wear and damage to ensure items are safe before connecting to the mains power supply.
1.2.1. if worn or damaged do not use.
1.3. imPortAnt: check that the voltage marked on the charger plug is the same as the lamp.
1.3.1. uncoil the cable between charger and the lamp. do not pull the charger plug from the mains socket by the lead.
R warning! do not use any other type of charger with this product, other than the supplied mains or car charger. failure to observe
this warning could result in injury and or re and will invalidate the warranty.
do not try to take the charger plug apart. do not use the charger plug to charge or power any other electrical item. do not get the charger wet, or use in wet, damp conditions (for indoor use only).
1.4. battery safety R warning! To reduce the risk of burns or re:
do not attempt to open, disassemble, modify or service the battery pack. do not crush, puncture, short external contacts or dispose of in re or water.
do not expose to temperatures above 60°c (140°). replace only with the battery pack designated for this product. recycle or dispose of used battery as stipulated by local regulation. if the electrolyte in the cells gets on your skin, thoroughly wash with soap and water. if it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with cool water and seek immediate medical attention

2. introduction
unique and innovative 360° swivel and tilt function enables the light source to be positioned in any direction. includes two 3.7V 2,600mAh rechargeable li-ion batteries in parallel for up to 14 hours run time. each lamp houses 16 smd leds providing up to 600 lumens output with 120° spread of light, illuminating the whole work area. includes an additional 3W led in the end for use as a directional torch. features two swivel hooks and three rubber covered magnets, two on the rear and one on the end, which allow hands free operation. supplied with usB lead, mains plug and in-car charger.

V important WArrAntY informAtion
The battery tted to this lamp is considered to be a consumable item and its ability to accept a charge will reduce over time.
We will provide warranty against mechanical and electrical defect for a period of one year - this does not cover fair wear and tear.
If the battery is not properly charged before rst use, or regularly conditioned, its capacity will diminish. Under these circumstances
we will not replace the battery regardless of whether it is less than one year old. note: the lithium battery does not suffer from memory effect and once fully charged may be stored for up to six months without another charge.
4. operation
4.1. connect the usB lead to the charger unit and the socket on the rear of the lamp. Plug into power supply and turn on, the charging
LEDs on the lamp will ash green to show that charging has commenced.
4.2. The number of green lights ashing indicate the level of charge
4.3. When the battery has charged fully all the leds will show steady green
4.4. direct the lens away from your eyes before switching on.
4.5. toggle the lamp between the end light and side light using the on/off switch.
4.6. the output of the side led can be varied by pressing the switch a further time.
4.7. the lamp may be suspended by the hooks or attached to any ferrous surface by using the magnets. When the light is hanging from
the hook it can be rotated through 360° for more precise positioning.
4.8. separate the top and bottom sections by pulling apart. When attached to a ferrous surface, using the base magnet, the lamp can be rotated to shine in any direction.
