1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 GENERAL SAFETY
 DANGER! Take care when using and moving ladders in the vicinity of power cables - risk of potentially fatal electric shock.
WARNING! Ensure Health and Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations are adhered to when using this
equipment.
Familiarise yourself with the application and limitations of the ladder stand-off, as well as the potential hazards. Maintain the equipment in good condition. Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.WARNING! Use ladder on level and solid ground and either have an assistant stand on the lowest rung or otherwise anchor the base of
the ladder to prevent slipping. When viewed from the front, the top of the ladder section(s) must always be directly above the base.
 Place ladder at an angle of 65° to 70° - foot of ladder 1 metre from wall for each 3 metres up - for stability.  Where possible, lash top of ladder to a fixture to prevent slipping.  WARNING! Never over-reach when on the ladder stand-off.  Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the working area.  DO NOT use the ladder stand-off for any purpose other than that for which it is designed.DO NOT use the equipment if any parts are damaged or missing as this may cause failure and/or personal injury.DO NOT allow children to climb the ladder.  DO NOT use the equipment when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.  When not in use store in a safe, dry, childproof area.
2.1 Introduction
Heat-treated aluminium framed ladder stand-off improves stability and fits to any ladder. The "V" Type design can be used on flat surfaces, corners or over down pipes. Fitted with rubber feet to prevent slipping and positions ladder 250-400mm away from wall. Quick and easy to assemble with a maximum weight capacity of 110kg.

3. ASSEMBLY & USE
3.1 Stand-off Assembly.
3.1.1 Assemble the stand-off as in fig.1. The M6x35mm bolts (6) should be used in the topmost holes to secure the hooks (4) and hook brackets (3) through the brace (2) and the stand-off frame (1). Fit flat washers (9) and nuts (10) but do not tighten fully.
3.1.2 The M6x30mm bolts (7) should be used for the next row of holes to secure the hooks (4) and hook brackets (3) to the brace (2). Fit flat washers (9) and nuts (10) and fully tighten all nuts securing the hooks (4) and hook brackets (3).
3.1.3 Attach the remaining hooks (4) to the lower part of the hook brackets (3) with M6x25mm bolts (8), flat washers (9) and nuts (10).
3.1.4 Attach the spring (5) to the brace (2) using M6x25mm bolt (8) and a flat washer (9). Secure at the other side of the brace (2) using a flat washer (9) and a nut (10).
3.2 Attaching the stand-off to the ladder.
3.2.1 Place the stand-off assembly on the top rungs of the ladder and secure with spring (refer to fig.2).
WARNING! Due to the strength of the spring, caution must be exercised when hooking spring round ladder rung.

4. MAINTENANCE
4.1 Periodically check that all nuts are tight and secure, but DO NOT overtighten.
4.2 Check that the rubber feet on the stand-off are in good condition and are not worn.
