1. SAFETY
Ensure that all members of staff are trained in the use of the rescue pole.
DANGER: When being used in a rescue situation, DO NOT hold the pole forward of the rubber guard.
2. INTRODUCTION
High voltage rescue pole suitable for use up to 45000V in dry conditions. Supplied with wall mounting brackets.

4. INSTALLATION
4.1. Select a conspicuous location close to the relevant work area.
4.1.1. The area chosen should be free from the risk of chemical contamination, condensation and within a temperature range of -10°C and +35°C
4.2. Using suitable wall plugs, fasten the holder at a height which will allow the rescue pole to be grasped below the rubber guard.
4.2.1. Fasten the clip to the wall at a height which will ensure that the rescue pole sits securely with its heel in the holder and the shaft pressed into the clip.
5. USE
5.1. Hold the PVC handle firmly, DO NOT hold the rescue pole forward of the rubber guard, place the rescue
hook abound the casualty and pull them away from the electrical supply.
5.2. Ensure the casualty is completely isolated from the electrical supply before administering first aid.
6. MAINTENANCE
The Rescue Pole must be kept clean; if necessary it is recommended cleaning it with silicone.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
