Maxtor again raises the bar on desktop

hard drive performance with this ultra-high-

performance drive that comes with your

choice of Serial ATA (SATA) or Parallel ATA

(PATA) interfaces. Both the SATA and PATA

drives have ultra-fast 16MB cache buffers,

the largest cache buffers available today.

The SATA version offers Maxtor’s new MHX

technology with dual-processor architecture

to accelerate drive performance for

multi-stream video applications. The large

cache buffer, the fast Serial ATA interface,

and native command queuing help produce

this high-powered storage solution.

with the fastest version of the PATA inter

face, which supports data transfer rates up

to 133MB/sec and takes advantage of the

16MB cache buffer.
