Quick start Guide.
Protect the battery from extreme heat, extreme cold, puncturing,
and flammable surfaces. Always transport, charge, and store the
battery in the guard bag.
Thank You for purchasing ScratchBuilds.com’s RTF ZMR250 FPV

Turnigy 1500mAh 3S 11.1v LiPo Battery
Extra 5045 propellers
Charging Battery
Red Devil is powered by a rechargeable Lithium Polymer (LiPo)
battery. Batteries must ship at half charge, so please charge before
first flight. Always charge batteries with LiPo charger in balance mode
for long life and reliability. Each full battery provides upto 10 minutes*
of flight time.

Charge the battery using a designated LiPo balance charger only.
Always monitor the battery while charging.
Flying with a low battery is a safety risk and can render the battery
unusable. Always discontinue use when the battery runs low, and
always fly with a fully charged battery.
Inspect the battery for damage before takeoff and after landing. If
you observe any swelling of the package or the battery ceases to
function, locate your local battery recycling center to dispose of the
battery. In the US and Canada, visit call2recycle.org to find a location.
Do not dispose of the battery in the trash.
*Flight time varies with payload, wind conditions, altitude,
temperature, humidity, flying style, and pilot skill.

Flight Modes
Red Devil’s Radio Transmitter comes programmed
with Three different flight characteristics. And it is
programmed on the three position switch SWC on
the top right of the radio.
For more information on flight modes please visit OpenPilot Wiki:
https://wiki.openpilot.org/display/WIKI/Input+-+Flight+Modes++Arming
Postion 1: Attitute (Beginner)
Attitude or Stabilized mode is designed for beginners to help them
learn how to fly. The Gyro and Accelerometer of the flight controller
keeps the quadcopter leveled, and Yaw axis locked. You just have to
give enough throttle to keep the aircraft in the air at desired altitude.
Position 2: Rattitude (Intermediate)
As the name states Rattitude Mode is the combination of Rate
(Manual) mode and Attitude (Stabilized) mode. This mode helps you
to learn acrobatic maneuvers like flips and rolls with the peace of mind
that if you lose control of what you are doing, just let the right control
stick go and the aircraft will be leveled. Remember you will need to
give enough Throttle input to keep the aircraft in the air and you may
need to correct its heading using Yaw control.
Position 3: Rate (Expert)
This mode is also known as Manual mode. You will have no assistance
from Gyro or Accelerometer to keep the aircraft level or stabilized. The
user controls how fast the aircraft turns around that axis. Good for
aerobatic flight at expert level.

Arming
For your safety the aircraft is always disarmed when you plug in the
flight battery. The arming timeout is set to 30 seconds. No activity for
30 seconds after arming will disarm the aircraft automatically.
To Arm: Throttle down to zero and Yaw to the Right
To Disarm: Throttle down to zero and Yaw to the Left
