Subject: Approved Condensers

Condenser coils in certain rack condensing units have been approved for use with Scotsman Remote cooled
cube ice equipment. They include:

Bohn G or X series: MAC4XS6C; MAC7XS6C or MAC8XS6C

Master Bilt: R62R1104C; R62R1104CC; R62R1103C; R62R1105C

•

Conditions

The condenser coil must NOT have been connected to an R-502 or R-22 system.

A head pressure control valve, like a headmaster, must be added. Scotsman’s kit for the above is

Eclipse condensing units

The condenser coil must NOT have been connected to an R-502 or R-22 system.

Only the condenser coil part of the rack has been approved. Use of the Eclipse CP is mandatory. If

connecting an Eclipse CP compressor pack to one of the above, a head pressure control valve is NOT
needed.
