1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

1.1 SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS –
This manual contains important safety
and operating instructions.
1.2 Read, understand and follow all
instructions, cautions and warnings
listed in this manual. Failure to follow all
instructions and abide by all cautions and
warnings could result in personal injury,
injury to others and property damage.
1.3 DO NOT lie on top of blanket. Use as a
covering only.
1.4 Administer close supervision when using
around children, to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
1.5 This appliance is not intended for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
1.6 Close supervision is necessary when
used around infants, children, or anyone
incapable of unplugging the blanket.
1.7 DO NOT use the blanket on anyone
overly sensitive or insensitive to heat.
1.8 DO NOT use the blanket as an animal
heating appliance, as they can damage
the blanket or power cord and cause an
electric shock or burns.
1.9 Unplug the blanket when not in use or if
the vehicle is unattended.
1.10 To protect against electric shock, DO NOT
immerse the plug or blanket in any liquid.
1.11 DO NOT use the blanket if it is wet.
1.12 DO NOT use the blanket with a damaged
plug or cord, or if the blanket has been
damaged in any way.
1.13 DO NOT use the blanket for anything
other than its intended use.
1.14 NEVER wrap the power cord around the
blanket, as this may damage the cord.
1.15 DO NOT use the blanket while it is folded
or scrunched up, or it will overheat and
cause the internal circuit breaker to trip.
1.16 DO NOT insert pins into blanket.
1.17 This blanket operates with a 12V DC
system. Always start the vehicle’s engine
before plugging in the blanket.
1.18 The power cord has an 7 amp in-line fuse.
If necessary, replace the fuse only with a
new one of the same type and rating.
2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
For best results, plug into the 12V DC
socket of a running vehicle.
2.1 Start the vehicle’s engine.
2.2 Plug the blanket into the vehicle’s
12V DC accessory outlet. The LED
indicator located on the plug will light to
show that the blanket is receiving power.
The blanket will automatically maintain a
warm, comfortable temperature.
3. CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 Do not use bleach on the blanket.
3.2 Do not machine wash or dry.
3.3 Do not dry clean.
3.4 Spot wash by hand with a wet cloth or soft
brush and a mild detergent.
3.5 Allow the blanket to dry thoroughly before
using.

4. STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS
4.1 When not in use, allow blanket to cool
down before folding. Gently fold the
blanket and place back into the original
package.
4.2 Do not crease the blanket by placing
items on top of it during storage.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING
This blanket is equipped with a 7 amp
fuse. If the 12V circuit fails to operate, try
the following suggestions:
5.1 Unplug the blanket from the power supply
and make sure the receptacle is clean
and the plug is making a good contact.
5.2 Check the blanket’s fuse located in the
end of the 12V DC Accessory Plug. If the
fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the
same type and rating.
5.3 Check the vehicle’s fuse panel. If the
fuse is blown, replace it with a fuse of the
same type and rating.

8. DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Do not dispose of this product with other household waste. To prevent possible
harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, and
to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources, recycle it responsibly. To
discard your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the
retailer where the product was purchased, for environmentally-safe recycling.

PROSPECT, IL 60056-2179, MAKES THIS LIMITED WARRANTY TO THE ORIGINAL
RETAIL PURCHASER OF THIS PRODUCT. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS NOT
TRANSFERABLE OR ASSIGNABLE.
Schumacher Electric Corporation (the “Manufacturer”) warrants this blanket for one (1)
year from the date of purchase at retail against defective material or workmanship that
may occur under normal use and care. If your unit is not free from defective material or
workmanship, Manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is solely to repair or replace
your product with a new or reconditioned unit at the option of the Manufacturer. It is the
obligation of the purchaser to forward the unit, along with proof of purchase and mailing
charges prepaid to the Manufacturer or its authorized representatives in order for repair
or replacement to occur.
Manufacturer does not provide any warranty for any accessories used with this product
that are not manufactured by Schumacher Electric Corporation and approved for use
with this product. This Limited Warranty is void if the product is misused, subjected to
careless handling, repaired, or modied by anyone other than Manufacturer or if this unit
is resold through an unauthorized retailer. Manufacturer may void this Limited Warranty if
a “warranty may be void if removed” label is removed from the product.
Manufacturer makes no other warranties, including, but not limited to, express, implied or
statutory warranties, including without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or
implied warranty of tness for a particular purpose. Further, Manufacturer shall not be liable
for any incidental, special or consequential damage claims incurred by purchasers, users
or others associated with this product, including, but not limited to, lost prots, revenues,
anticipated sales, business opportunities, goodwill, business interruption and any other injury
or damage. Any and all such warranties, other than the limited warranty included herein,
are hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages or length of implied warranty, so the above
limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specic legal rights
and it is possible you may have other rights which vary from this warranty.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND THE
MANUFACTURER NEITHER ASSUMES OR AUTHORIZES ANYONE TO ASSUME OR

10. LIMITED WARRANTY (EUROPE/AUSTRALIA)
WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Schumacher Electric Corporation (the “Manufacturer”) or the resellers authorized by the Manufacturer
(the “Reseller”) warrant this blanket (the “Product”) for two (2) years (Europe) and one (1) year
(Australia), according to the following stipulations. Any and all warranties, other than the warranty
included herein, are hereby expressly disclaimed and excluded to the fullest extent permissible
under applicable law. Legislation may imply warranties or conditions or impose obligations on
Manufacturer which cannot be excluded, restricted or modied in relation to consumer goods.
Consumer End-User Warranty
Any claims under this warranty must be communicated to Reseller within 2 months after discovery
of the non-conformity.
Resellers/Professional End-User Warranty
The Manufacturer provides a limited warranty for hidden defects or non-conformities. This warranty
is subject to the following conditions:
a. The Manufacturer only warrants hidden defects in material or workmanship present in their root
cause at the moment of the rst sale by the Manufacturer;
b. Manufacturer’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing the Product with
a new or reconditioned unit at the sole option of the Manufacturer;
c. Manufacturer does not have any warranty obligations if the alleged defects were caused by
abnormal usage, fair wear and tear, unauthorized use of the Product or use of the Product
differing from the description in the applicable manual or other specications given by the
Manufacturer, insufcient care, repairs carried out by persons or entities or with parts not
approved by Manufacturer, poor care, accidents, unauthorized changes or modications,
incorrect transport, storage or treatment of the Product;
d. In order to exercise this right, the Product must be returned complete and in its original state
and packaging, with mail costs prepaid, along with proof of purchase to the Manufacturer or its
authorized representatives in order for repair or replacement to occur.
Common Warranty Provisions
The warranty mentioned above only applies to the rst professional or consumer user having legally
acquired the Product from the Manufacturer or a Reseller. No warranty is extended towards clients,
agents or representatives of those buyers.
The Product is sold under the specications, for the use and purpose in accordance with the provisions
of this manual, with express exclusion and disclaimer of warranty of any other specications, uses and
purposes.
Authorized Resellers are prohibited from making any statements or providing any warranty in excess of
the above warranties Non-authorized resellers may only sell the product under the condition that they
assume all warranty obligations with the total exclusion of any warranty provided by the Manufacturer.
Manufacturer does not provide any warranty for any accessories used with the Product that are not
manufactured by Schumacher Electric Corporation.
This warranty does not exclude or diminish any claims the Manufacturer may have against the
distributors of The Product.
THE MANUFACTURER NEITHER ASSUMES NOR AUTHORIZES ANYONE TO ASSUME OR
MAKE ANY OTHER OBLIGATION TOWARDS THE PRODUCT OTHER THAN THIS WARRANTY.

2. BETJENINGSVEJLEDNING
Det bedste resultat opnås ved at tilslutte
tæppet til 12 V jævnstrømsstikket på en
kørende bil.
2.1 Start bilens motor.
2.2 Tilslut tæppet til bilens 12 V jævnstrømsstik.
LED-indikatoren på stikket lyser for at vise,
at tæppet forsynes med strøm. Tæppet vil
automatisk opretholde en varm, behagelig
temperatur.
3. RENGØRING
3.1 Brug ikke blegemiddel på tæppet.
3.2 Tåler ikke vaskemaskine eller
tørretumbler.
3.3 Tåler ikke kemisk rensning.
3.4 Vask tilsmudsede områder med hånden
med en våd klud eller blød børste og et
mildt rengøringsmiddel.
3.5 Lad tæppet tørre grundigt før brug.

4. OPBEVARING
4.1 Når tæppet ikke er i brug, skal det have
tid til at køle ned, før det foldes sammen.
Fold forsigtigt tæppet sammen og læg det
tilbage i den oprindelige emballage.
4.2 Tæppet må ikke presses og krølles ved
at anbringe genstande oven på det under
opbevaring.
5. FEJLFINDING
Tæppet er udstyret med en 7 ampere
sikring. Hvis 12 V systemet svigter, kan d
prøve følgende:
5.1 Frakobl tæppet elstikket og kontroller, at
stikket er rent og at der er god elektrisk
kontakt.
5.2 Kontroller tæppets sikring, som sidder
i enden af 12 V stikket. Hvis sikringen
er sprunget, skal den udskiftes med en
sikring af samme type og størrelse.
5.3 Kontroller bilens sikringspanel. Hvis
sikringen er sprunget, skal den udskiftes
med en sikring af samme type og størrelse.

a. Producenten garanterer kun skjulte fejl i materiale og udførelse som ndes som
hovedårsag ved første salg fra Producenten.
b. Producentens forpligtelse i henhold til denne garanti er begrænset til reparation eller
udskiftning af produktet med en ny eller istandsat enhed som den eneste valgmulighed
for Producenten.

indpakning med forsendelsen forudbetalt sammen med købsbevis til Producenten eller

Almindelige Garantivilkår
Ovenstående garanti gælder kun for den første professionelle eller kunde som på lovligt
vis har erhvervet produktet fra Producenten eller en forhandler. Der gives ingen yderligere
garanti til kunder, agenter eller repræsentanter for disse købere.
Produktet sælges ifølge specikationerne for brug og formål i overensstemmelse med
betingelserne i denne brugervejledning og med udtrykkelig undtagelse og afvisning af
garanti for alle andre specikationer, brug og formål.
Det er forbudt godkendte forhandlere at fremkomme med udtalelser eller komme med
