Sie wollen im Freien einen Dialog aufnehmen, aber die Nebengeräusche stören zu sehr. Ihre Superniere stößt hier einfach
an ihre Grenzen. Welches Mikrofon sollten Sie nehmen?
Das SCHOEPS Richtmikrofon CMIT 5 U
Eigenschaften:
– Außergewöhnlich geringe Verfärbung seitlich einfallenden
Schalls, da der Unterschied der Richtwirkung zwischen mittleren und hohen Frequenzen gering ist. Bei mittleren Frequenzen ist die Richtwirkung höher als man es von einem
Rohr dieser Länge erwartet – die Wirkung setzt schon bei
ca. 2kHz ein. Bei hohen Frequenzen ist die Richtkeule nicht
so schmal wie bei langen Rohren. Das macht die Nachführung auch bei sehr lebhaften Szenen unproblematisch,
in denen der Akteur sich mitunter deutlich von der Mikrofonachse weg bewegt. Der typische dumpfe Klang von
Rohr-Richtmikrofonen wird vermieden.
– SCHOEPS-Klangqualität bedeutet beim CMIT 5 U: Es ist
auch für Musikaufnahmen geeignet.
– Der Klang bleibt beim Drehen des Mikrofons um seine
Längsachse unverändert, denn sein Polardiagramm ist in
der Vertikalen und Horizontalen gleich.
– Das CMIT 5 U reagiert viel unempfindlicher auf Wind als
z.B. die SCHOEPS-Superniere.
– Sehr leichtes, robustes Gehäuse aus Metall - geringes
Gewicht an der Angel
Durch Drücken von Tipptasten mit einem Finger können drei
Filter aktiviert werden, durch die das CMIT 5 U an jede Aufnahmesituation angepasst werden kann:
– Die Höhenanhebung (+5dB bei 10kHz) verbessert die
Sprachverständlichkeit und kompensiert die Dämpfung von
Windschutzen.
– Ein steilflankiges Tiefenfilter (18dB/Okt. ab 80Hz) unter-
drückt tieffrequente Wind- und Angelgeräusche.
– Ein weich einsetzender Tiefenabsenker (6dB/Okt. ab
300Hz) kompensiert den Nahbesprechungseffekt.
LEDs neben jeder Taste zeigen den Betriebszustand der Filter
an. Damit ist auch im Dunkeln erkennbar, ob das Mikrofon
in Betrieb ist und welche Filter aktiv sind. Die Einstellungen
bleiben nach dem Ausschalten erhalten.

Im Gegensatz zu SCHOEPS-Mikrofonen der Colette-Serie sind
Kapsel (= akustischer Wandler) und Mikrofonverstärker beim
CMIT 5 U nicht trennbar.

You want to record some dialogue outdoors, but the surroundings are too noisy. Your supercardioid is pressed to the
limit. Which microphone should you use?
The SCHOEPS shotgun CMIT 5 U
Features:
– Unusually low coloration of off-axis sound since the pickup
angles at low and high frequencies are kept reasonably
similar to one another: At medium frequencies the direc-
tivity of the CMIT 5 U is higher than one would expect
from a microphone of this length, while at high frequen-
cies the pickup pattern is not as narrow as with long shot-
gun microphones. Thus in active scenes it is easier to cue
the boom and keep actors ”on mike.”
– SCHOEPS sound quality makes the microphone suitable for
music recording as well as dialogue.
– The directional pattern and sound quality are consistent in
both the horizontal and vertical planes, unlike some other
shotgun microphones.
– Even greater immunity to wind noise than a SCHOEPS
supercardioid
– Very lightweight, robust all-metal housing
Three pushbutton-activated filters allow the microphone to
adapt to all recording situations:
– High-frequency emphasis (+ 5 dB at 10 kHz) enhances
speech intelligibility, and compensates for high-frequency
loss caused by windscreens;
– A steep low-cut filter (18 dB/oct. below 80 Hz) suppresses
wind and boom noise;
– A gentle low-frequency rolloff (6 dB/oct. below 300 Hz)
compensates for proximity effect.
Pairs of LEDs next to each pushbutton indicate the status of
the filters. Even in darkness the user can read the settings
and see that the microphone is operational. The settings
are retained when the microphone is switched off.
