BEFORE FIRST USE - SD CARD
e Smoke Detector Camera must have an SD card inserted to work properly. It will accept an SD card of up to 32 GB in size.
1. e SD card is inserted into the side of the device. You do not need to remove the top of the device.
2. Note the proper position of the SD card. e Gold connectors will be facing UP.
3. Gently insert the SD card, into the slot on the side of the device. Use your nger to gently push the SD card into place. If there is resistance, remove the SD card and double-check your placement. DO NOT FORCE your SD card into place. is may damage your device and void your warranty.

4. Use the tip of a screwdriver or similar tool. Press gently on the middle of the SD card until the SD card clicks into place.
5. When properly inserted, the SD card is hidden from view. To remove, use the tool to gently press again. e SD card will click out of the slot.

OPTIONAL SET UP AND USE
You may nd it easier and more convenient to use your device with a long power / video cord, and optional monitor. is will allow you to place the device anywhere without worry of a nearby power supply or television.
SafetyBasement has the cables you need, and small monitors as well.
An option power / video cable can provide power to your device when a power supply is not nearby. An optional cable can run to a convenient location for power, and for monitoring your video recordings, without needing to remove the SD card or device.
In this photo, we are using the optional 3.5 inch monitor to set up our Smoke Detector Camera. We can also use this monitor to play back our les. Monitor Product Code: LT-LTAMC80
