1 Intake Tube 1 Stick On Gasket
1 Intake Box 1 3/16” x 1.25” Hose Barb
1 Intake Lid 1 5/16” x 1/4” Hose Barb
1 CARB Sticker 3 M6 Hex Head Screws
1 Instruction Sheet 4 Sealing Washers
1. Turn off engine and disconnect negative battery
terminal.
2. Disconnect the mass air sensor electrical co nnection
4. Remove the throttle body shield
5. Loosen the 3 bolts that screw the stock air
box to the fender
7. Disconnect all of the vacuum hoses from the
resonator box
8. Remove the entire air intake system from the
vehicle
3. Release the electrical route clip on the
resonator box

intake tube at the throttle

9. Loosen and remove the mass air sensor from
the stock air box. Do not lose the smal l
screws they will be re-used

10. Attach the provided gasket onto the mass
air sensor. Sticky side toward the sensor
base.
11. Install the mass air sensor into the S&B
cold air tube
12. Attach the throttle body adaptor cuff to the
S&B cold air tube. Install the hose barb fittings
in the order shown and tighten all barbs and
hose clamps
13. Install the S&B cold air box and tighten the
14. Install the S&B cold air tube thru the air
box
box and attach it to the throttle body.
Leave the hose clamp “semi tight for adjustment
15. Slide the hose clamp that secures the filter
onto the S&B cold air tube
16. Connect the S&B high performance filter
to the S&B cold air tube. Push the filter tight
against the wall of the box. Tighten th e ho s e
clamps for the filter. Tighten the hose clamps
for the cold air tube
17. Connect all of the vacuum hoses as shown
18. Connect the mass air sensor electrical
connection
19. Attach the A.C. hose to the S&B cold air
intake tube.
20.Re-attach the throttle body cover. Secure the
air box lid to the S&B cold air box . Reconnect the
negative side of the battery.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
∗ Engage parking brake and
start your engine. To ensure
that the system was installed properly, listen for
abnormal noises. If an air
leak is detected, re-inspect
hoses and connections as
they may need to be tightened.
∗ S&B FILTERS RECOM-
MENDS THAT YOU KEEP
YOUR OEM INTAKE SYSTEM IN THE EVENT IT IS
REQURIED IN THE FUTURE.
∗ In order to maintain proper
warranty, all connections
and components must be
checked periodically for realignment and to tighten all
connections. Failure to do
so will void your wa rrant y.
∗ Use only S&B cleaning and
oil products to service your
filter. Using other company’s
oil and cleaner products
may void yo ur warrant y.
