1. With the ignition switched off and the

parking brake set, disconnect the negative battery cables on both batteries.

Tools Required

10mm Wrench & Socket

• T-20 Security Torx Wrench (Supplied w/ Kit)

• 9/16” Wrench and Socket

• 5/16” Nut Driver or Flat Blade Screwdriver

• Phillips Screwdriver

2. Disconnect the electrical connection for

the MAF sensor at the OE air box.

Cleanable (KF-1035). If the enclosed ﬁlter is Red, it came pre-oiled from the factory. Please visit www.sbﬁlters.com for the exact oil amount required after cleaning.

Disposable (KF-1035D). If the enclosed ﬁlter is White, it is a disposable ﬁlter and should be discarded once it reaches capacity. This ﬁlter (does not require oil). For more info on S&Bʼs disposable ﬁlter, visit www.sbﬁlters.com.

Before You Start

Please read the entire product guide before proceeding.

• Ensure all components listed on page 4 are present.

• If you are missing any of the components, call our customer

• support at (909) 947-0015.

Do not work on your vehicle while engine is hot.

• Make sure the engine is turned off and the vehicle is in Park or

• the Parking Brake is set.

3. Loosen both hose clamps and remove

the OE intake tube from the vehicle.

4. Pull up on the OE air box to release it

from the 2 rubber grommets at the bottom. And remove it from the vehicle. Remove the MAF sensor from the air box and set it aside. You will install it into the S&B tube in step # 9.

7. Place the S&B air ﬁlter (B) inside Air box

(A), then attach the ﬁlter adapter (E) with the

5/16 screws (D). Secure the ﬁlter with the #80 hose clamp (C).

5. Make sure that the OE grommets are still

in place in the OE air box tray.

8. Insert the Rubber Grommet (H) and the

Well Nut (R) into the hole located in the core support between the fender and the hood bumper/ adjuster.

6. Remove the plastic shield from behind

the headlight by prying the push locks loose.

9. Peel off the backing from the Round Gasket

(F), adhere to the Intake tube. Insert the 8/32

screws (S) thru the MAF sensor then place the 8/32 rubber spacers (G) over the screws. Place the MAF sensor into the S&B tube and secure.

10. Remove the hood bumper on the

passenger side. Note: measure the bumper height before removal.

13. Install the Step Coupler (K) to the

opposite end of the Intake tube (L) as shown, secure loosely with # 72 hose clamp (J).

11. Install the Air box (A), guiding the prongs

into grommets at the bottom. Push down on the air box and install the 3/8” bolt (P) and Flat Washer (Q) expanding the well nut (R) to secure the Air box (A). Leave loose for now.

14. Install the Intake tube assembly onto the

turbo inlet, then secure the #72 hose clamps (V). Then center the straight coupler (I) over the gap between the tube end and box adapter, secure the # 80 hose clamps (H)

12. Place the Straight Coupler (I) along with

#80 hose clamps over the Intake tube (L), slide on until just even with tube end.

15. Reconnect MAF sensor electrical

connection.

16. Tighten the 3/8” bolt (P) securing the Air

Box. Then reinstall the hood bumper and adjust to the proper height. Use measurement from step #10.

Precision

Filter Cleaning & Oiling

17. Install the Clear lid (O), secure with the

10/24 screws (N) and concave rubber footed washers (M). Do not over tighten.
