2 Hose Clamp #36 1 1/4”-20 Nylock Nut
1 Hose Clamp #48 1 M6 Nylock Nut
2 Rubber Well Nut 1 M6 SS Screw
1 Angle Bracket 1 Air Filter
Tools Required
Flat Head Screwdriver
7/16” Wrench
10mm Wrench
1/8” Allen
9/16” Socket
1. With the engine off, disconnect the vehicle’s negative batter y cable .
2. Disconnect the air temperatur e sensor.
4B. Loose hose clamp at air box.
5. Remove the crank case vent from the
valve cover.
8. Assemble U-bracket as shown below.
9. Assemble the edge trim as shown below.
3. Pull up and remove engine cover.
4. Loosen hose clamp at throttle body.
6. Remove air intake and air box from
vehicle.
7. Remove the air box grommets as shown
below.
10. Installed the U-bracket to the heat
shield as shown below.
11. Install rubber well nut into air box grommet holes.

12. Install heat shield using prov i ded hardware as shown below.
13. Take out the air temp. sensor from the
OEM stock tube.
14. Place grommet in S&B intake tube.
17. Slide hose clamp over saddle brac ket.
18. Attach S&B intake tube to throttle body
and tighten hose clamp.
19. Insert intake tube and secure to Ubracket with hose clamp.
23. Reinstall engine cover.
24. Reconnect battery.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
1. Engage parking brake and start your engine. To
insure that the system was installed properly, listen
for abnormal noises. If an air leak is detected, reinspect hoses and connections as they may need to
be tight ened.
2. S&B FILTERS RECOMMENDS THAT YOU
KEEP YOUR OEM INTAKE SYSTEM IN THE
EVENT IT IS REQURIED IN THE FUTURE.
3. In order to maintain proper warranty, all connections and components must be checked periodically for realignment and to tighten all connections. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
4. Use only S&B cleaning and oil products to service
your filter. Using other company’s oil and
cleaner products may void your warranty.

15. Place temp. sensor in S&B intake tube.
16. Place connector hose on intake tube
and secure one end with hose clamp.
20. Attach crank case vent hose to S&B
intake tube.
21. Attach filter and secure with hose
clamp.
22. Connect the electrical conn ect ion for
the temp. sensor.
