Flat Head Screw Driver Phillips Head Screw Driver Pliers 3/8” Socket or Wrench
1. With the ignition switched off, discon­nect the negative battery cable. Loose the air cleaner hose clamp from the throttle body.
2. Disconnect the crank case vent line from the OEM air cleaner housing.
4. Install the supplied gasket to the throttle body.
5. Thread the supplied “S” bolt into the throttle body until tight, and back off one full turn.
7) B) Repeat step for second nuts and remove the #10-24 screws from the rivet nuts. You will use these screws later to install the intake box.
8. Install the intake box on to fenderwell and secure using the supplied #10-24 screws and 1/4” washers.
3. Remove the air cleaner and intake tube assembly by pulling up and towards the center of the vehicle to detach the tube from the inner fender well. Re­move the stock throttle body gasket as well.

Locate two (2) holes on passenger side fender well.
7. A) Insert jack nuts into holes in fender well and tighten #10-24 screws into the jack nut while holding the jack nut tight with pliers.
9. Insert the intake tube into air box first, then rotate the intake tube over the “S” bolt in the throttle body.
10. Adjust the air tube until it seats com-
pletely over the throttle body and rests on the supplied gasket.

11. Install the 1/4” fender washer and nut onto “S” bolt and tighten securely. Do
not over tighten the nut.
PERFORMANCE TESTING
Engage parking brake and start your engine. Listen for abnormal noises. If an air leak is detected, re-inspect hoses and connections as they may need to be reposi­tioned and tightened.

12. Install crank case vent line from the intake tube to the fitting on the valve cover.
13. Slide the filter’s hose clamp over the air tube first and then install the air filter into the air box. Push the filter against the inner wall of the air box and tighten hose clamp securely.

ranty, all connections and com­ponents must be checked peri­odically for alignment and for proper tension on all connec­tions. Failure to do so will void your warranty.
Use only S&B Filter cleaning and
oil products to service your filter. Using any other brand oil and or cleaners may void your warranty.
14. Install clear intake box lid using s upplie d sealing washers and SS pan head screws.
15. Ensure all connections are tight and posi­tioned properly before starting vehicle. Reconnect negative battery terminal.
