RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUGGESTIONS
The Instructions for Use apply to severa l versions o
f
this appliance. Accordingly, you may find
descriptions of individual features that do not apply to your specific appliance.
INSTALLATION
• The manufacturer will not be held liable for any dama ges resulting from incorrect or improper
installation.
• The minimum safety distance between the cooker top and the extractor h ood is 650 mm (some
models can be installed at a lower height, please refer to the paragraphs on working dimensions
and installation).
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate fixed to the inside of
the hood.
• For Class I appliances, check that the domestic power supply guarantees adequate earthing.
Connect the extractor to the exhaust flue through a pipe of minimum diameter 120 mm. The route
of the flue must be as short as possible.
• Do not connect the extractor hood to exhaust ducts carrying combustion fumes (boilers, fireplaces,
etc.).
• If the extractor is used in conjunction with non-electrical appliances (e.g. gas burning appliances), a
sufficient degree of aeration must b e gua rant eed in the roo m in o rder to p reve nt the b ackflow of
exhaust gas. The kitchen must have an opening communicating directly with the open air in order
to guarantee the entry of clean air. When the cooker hood is used in conjunction with appliances
supplied with energy other than electric, the negative pressure in the room must not exceed 0,04
mbar to prevent fumes being drawn back into the room by the cooker hood.
• In the event of da mage to the power cable, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by the
technical service department, in order to prevent any risks.
• If the instructions for installation for the gas hob specify a greater distance specified above, this has
to be taken into account. Regulations concerning the discharge of air have to be fulfilled.
USE
• The extractor hood has been designed exclusively for domestic use to eliminate kitchen smells.
• Never use the hood for purposes other than for which it has been designed.
• Never leave high naked flames under the hood when it is in operation.
• Adjust the flame intensity to direct it onto the bottom of the pan only, making sure that it does not
engulf the sides.
• Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored during use: overheated oil can burst into flames.
• Do not flambè under the range hood; risk of fire
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• “ CAUTION: Accessible parts may become hot when used with cooking appliances.”.
MAINTENANCE
• Switch off or unpl ug the appliance from the mai ns supply before carryin g out any maintenance
work.
• Clean and/or replace the Filters after the specified time period (Fire hazard).
• Clean the hood using a damp cloth and a neutral liquid detergent.
The symbol on the product or on its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as
household waste. Instead it shall be handed over to the applicable collection point for the recycling of
electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring this product is disposed of correctly, you will help
prevent potential negative consequence s fo r the environment and human health, which could otherwise be caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed information about
recycling of this product, please contact your local city office, your household waste disposal service or
the shop where you purchased the product.

INSTALLATION
Drilling the Support surface and Fitting the Hood
• The Hood can be fitted directly on the lower surface of the Wall Units using the snapon Side Supports.
• Make an opening on the lower surface of
the Wall Unit, as indicated.
• Insert flange 9 into the top exhaust opening.
• Screw the closing profile 20 onto the rear
part of the hood, using the screws 12e (2.9
x 12.7) provided.
• Open the comfort panel by turning the
knobs provided.
• Open the glass panel.
• Disconnect the lights connector.
• Disconnect the panel from the hood canopy
by sliding the lever out of the fixing pin,
simultaneously freeing the other end of the
panel from the fixing pin.
• Remove the metal grease filters one at a
time, by turning the hooks provided.
• Close the glass panel again.
• Insert the Hood until the snap-on side supports click into place.
• Open the glass panel.
• Lock in position by tightening the screws

• If necessary, adjust the whole filter holder
unit and proceed as follows:
• Loosen the four adjustment screws Vr
and close the glass panel again.
• Move the entire filter holder unit until it
is properly aligned with the wall unit.
• Keeping the hood canopy still, remove
the glass panel and lock the adjustment
screws again.
• The hood can now be fastened to the
wall unit using the four screws 12a (3.5
x 16) provided.
• Replace the metal grease filters.
• Connect the lights connector.
• Close the glass panel again and hook up the
comfort panel.

Connections
DUCTED VERSION AIR EXHAUST SYSTEM
When installing the ducted version, connect the hood to
the chimney using either a flexible or rigid
pipe ø 150 mm, the choice of which is left to the installer.
• Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe
clamps (not supplied).
• Remove any activated charcoal filters.

RECIRCULATION VERSION AIR OUTLET
• Cut a hole ø 150 mm in the wall unit over the hood.
• Connect the hood body outlet to the top part of the
wall unit using a rigid or flexible pipe ø 150 mm, to
be selected by the installer.
• Fix the pipe in position using sufficient pipe clamps
(not supplied).
• Fix the directional grille 8 on the recirculation air
outlet using the 2 screws 12e (2,9 x 9,5) provided.
• Ensure that the activated charcoal filters have been
inserted.

• Connect the hood to the mains through a two-pole switch having a contact gap of at least 3
mm..

KEY LED FUNCTIONS
L 0/1 Light Turns lighting on and off.

When pressed for about 1 seconds the motor is switched off.

Flashing Intensive speed.
Suitable for the strongest cooking vapours and odours. The func-
tion becomes active when the button is pushed for about 2 seconds. After 10 minutes of functioning it turns off automatically.
This function can be interrupted by means of pressing any of the
buttons.
FUNCTION OF THE PULL-OUT GLASS PANEL
With the glass kept closed is not possible to start up the motor of the hood, on the contrary is
possible to engine and/or to switch off the lighting system. When the glass panel is pulled out
the button pad is enabled, so that all functions are active and any functions that were activated
previously will be restored. Example: glass panel pulled out : lights ON and motor ON at
speed T2; when the glass panel is pushed back in again all these functions are turned off.
When the glass panel is pulled out again, the hood will automatically restore the previous state,
that is to say lights ON, motor ON at speed T2. If intensive speed was turned on at the time the
glass panel was closed, the hood will not return to intensive speed when the glass panel is extracted, but to the speed set prior to that.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the Comfort Panel
• Open the Comfort Panel by turning the knobs provided.
• Disconnect the lights connector.
• Disconnect the panel from the hood canopy by sliding the lever
out of the fixing pin, simultaneously freeing the other end of
the panel from the fixing pin.
• The comfort panel must never be washed in a dishwasher.
• Clean the outside using a damp cloth and neutral liquid detergent.
• Clean the inside using a damp cloth and neutral detergent; do
not use wet cloths or sponges, or jets of water; do not use abrasive substances.
• When cleaning has been completed connect the lights connector, reconnect the panel to the hood canopy and close it by turning the knob in the opposite direction.
Grease filters
CLEANING METAL GREASE FILTERS
• The filters must be cleaned every 2 months of operation, or
more frequently for particularly heavy usage.
• Open the Comfort Panel by turning the knobs provided.
• Open the glass panel.
• Remove the filters, one at a time, after disconnecting the relative fastening elements.
• Wash the filters, taking care not to bend them. Allow them to
dry before refitting.
• When refitting the filters, make sure that the handle is visible
on the outside.
• Close the glass panel again and hook up the comfort panel.

Odour filters (Recirculation version)
REPLACING ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FILTERS
• These filters are not washable and cannot be regenerated, and
must be replaced approximately every four months of operation, or more frequently with heavy usage.
• Open the Comfort Panel by turning the knobs provided.
• Open the glass panel.
• Remove the grease filters.
• Remove the saturated activated carbon filter by releasing the
fixing hooks
• Replace the grease filters.
• Close the glass panel again and hook up the comfort panel.
Lighting unit
Warning: This appliance is fitted with a white LED lamp classed
as 1M according to EN 60825-1: 1994 + A1:2002 + A2:2001
standards; maximum optical power emitted @439nm: 7µW. Do
not look directly at the light through optical devices (binoculars,
magnifying glasses…).

ASENNUS
• Valmistaja ei vastaa virheellisestä tai huolimattomasta asennuksesta aiheutuvista vahingoista
• Pienin sallittu turvaetäisyys liesitason ja liesikuvun välillä on 650 mm (jotkut mallit voidaan asentaa
alemmas, katso mittoja ja asennusta koskevia kappaleita).
• Tarkista, että käytettävän sähköverkon jännite vastaa liesikuvun sisäpuolella olevaan arvokilpeen merkittyä
jännitettä.
• Kytke laite vain maadoitettuun pistorasiaan.
• Yhdistä liesitu ul eti n horm iin put k ella, jo nk a halkai si ja on väh int ään 120 mm. Horm ii n menev än putk en on
oltava mahdollisimman lyhyt.
• Älä yhdistä liesituuletinta savuhormiin (lämmityskattilat, tulisijat, jne.).
• Mikäli liesituuletinta käytetään muiden kuin sähkölaitteiden (esim. kaasuhella) yhteydessä, on
huolehdittava työskentelytilan riittävästä tuuletuksesta, etteivät poistettavat kaasut pääse virtaamaan
takaisin työskentelytilaan. Keittiössä on oltava ilmanvaihtoaukko puhdasta tuloilmaa varten. Käyttö
tapahtuu oikein ja vaaratta kun tilan enimmäispaine ei ylitä arvoa 0,04 mBar.
• Jos virtajohto vahingoittuu, sen saa vaihtaa vain valmistaja tai tekninen huoltopalvelu, näin vältetään kaikki
riskit.
• Jos kaasukäyttöisen keittolaitteen asennusohjeet määräävät, että etäisyyden on oltava yllä mainittua
suurempi, ohjeita on noudatettava. Kaikkia ilmanpoistoa koskevia määräyksiä on noudatettava.
KÄYTTÖ
• Liesituuletin on tarkoitettu vain kotitalou skäyttöön.
• Älä koskaan käytä liesituuletinta muuhun tarkoitukseen kuin, mihin se on suunniteltu.
• Älä koskaan jätä avotulta liesituulettimen alle liesituulettimen ollessa käynnissä.
• Säädä liekin teho siten, että liekki kohdistuu vain astian pohjaan eikä sen reunoille.
• Syviä paistinpannuja on paiston aikana koko ajan pidettävä silmällä, sillä ylikuumentunut öljy voi leimahtaa
tuleen.
• Lapset tai henkilöt, joita ei ole opastettu laitteen oikeaan käyttöön, eivät saa käyttää liesituuletinta.
• Liesikuvun alla ei saa valmistaa liekitettäviä ruokia: tulipalon vaara
• Laitetta eivät saa käyttää h enkilöt (lapset mukaan lukien), joiden psyykkinen, aistien tai mielen terveys on
heikentynyt, tai henkilöt, joilla ei ole tarpeellista kokemusta tai taitoa, ellei heidän turvallisuudestaan
vastaava henkilö ole valmentanut heitä laitteen käyttöön tai valvo sitä.
• Valvo, etteivät lapset pääse leikkimään laitteella.

HUOLTO
• Sulje laite tai irrota sen pistoke pistorasiasta ennen hoitoa.
• Puhdista ja/tai vaihda suodattimet annetun ajan kuluttua (Tulipalovaara).
• Puhdista liesituuletin kostealla kankaalla ja miedolla, nestemäisellä pesuaineella.

ASENNUS
Tukitason poraaminen ja liesituulettimen kokoaminen
• Liesituuletin voidaan asentaa suoraan
kaapiston alatasoon paikalleen
napsautettavilla sivutuilla.
• Tee kaapin alatasoon ohjeiden mukainen
aukko.
• Aseta laippa 9 ylempään poistoaukkoon.
• Ruuvaa sulkuprofiili 20 liesituulettimen
taakse ruuveilla 12e
(2,9 x 12,7), jotka kuuluvat toimitukseen
• Avaa paneeli sen nupeilla.
• Avaa lasi.
• Irrota valojen liitin.
• Irrota paneeli liesituulettimen rungosta
siirtämällä kiinnitystapin vipua ja
vapauttamalla samalla paneelin toinen pää
kiinnitystapista.
• Poista rasvasuodattimet yksi kerrallaan
irrottamalla ne kiinnittimistä.
• Sulje lasi.
• Työnnä liesituuletinta, kunnes sivutuet
tarttuvat paikalleen.
• Avaa lasi.
• Kiinnitä pysyvästi kiristämällä ruuvit Vf
liesituulettimen alapuolelta.
• Säädä suodattimien rungon asentoa
tarvittaessa seuraavalla tavalla:
• Löysää neljä säätöruuvia Vr ja sulje lasi.
• Siirrä koko suodattimien runkoa, kunnes
se on oikealla kohdalla kalusteen suhteen.
• Pidä liesituulettimen runkoa paikallaan,
vedä lasi ulos ja kiristä säätöruuvit.
• Nyt liesituuletin voidaan kiinnittää
pysyvästi kaappiin toimitetuilla ruuveilla
12a (3,5 x 16).
• Asenna paikoilleen rasvasuodattimet.
• Liitä valojen liitin.
• Sulje lasi ja kiinnitä paikalleen paneeli.

Ilmanpoistoputket
HORMILIITÄNTÄINEN MALLI
Tämä malli asennetaan liittämällä koneisto hormiin
oman valintasi mukaan joko taipuisalla tai jäykällä ø
150 mm putkella.
• Asenna ilmanpoistoputki riittävällä määrällä
putkenkiinnittimiä (eivät sisälly toimitukseen).
• Poista mahdolliset aktiivihiilisuodattimet.

SUODATUSVERSION ILMAN ULOSTULO
• Poraa ø 150 mm reikä mahdolliseen liesituulettimen
yläpuolella olevaan hyllyyn.
• Liitä liesituulettimen ulostulo kalusteen yläosaan
jäykällä putkella, ø 150 mm, jonka valitsee asentaja.
• Kiinnitä putki sopivilla kiinnittimillä. Materiaali ei
kuulu toimitukseen.
• Kiinnitä suuntausritilä 8 ulostuloon kahdella
toimitetulla ruuvilla 12e (2,9 x 9,5).
• Varmista, että aktiivihiilihajusuodattimet ovat
paikoillaan.

SÄHKÖLIITÄNTÄ
• Liitä liesituuletin sähköverkkoon asentamalla kaksinapainen kytkin, jonka koskettimien väli
on vähintään 3 mm.

Soveltuu käytettäväksi kun savua on paljon. Aktivoidaan
painamalla painiketta noin 2 sekuntia. Sammuu
automaattisesti 10 minuuttia käynnistymisen jälkeen.
Voidaan poistaa käytöstä manuaalisesti painamalla mitä
tahansa painiketta.
ULOSVEDETTÄVÄN LASIN TOIMINTA
Kun lasinen liikkuva osa on kiinni, liesituulettimen moottoria ei voi käynnistää, mutta on
mahdollista sytyttää ja sammuttaa valot. Kun lasi vedetään ulos, painikkeet aktivoituvat ja
myös kaikki toiminnot. Aikaisemmin aktivoidut toiminnot palaavat käyttöön. Esimerkki: Lasi
vedetty ulos: valo päällä ja moottori toiminnassa nopeudella T2; kun lasi suljetaan, kaikki
toiminnot sammuvat. Kun lasi sitten taas vedetään ulos, liesituuletin palauttaa edellisen tilan,
valot päällä, moottori toiminnassa nopeudella T2. Jos tehonopeus on toiminnassa kun lasi
suljetaan, kun se taas avataan liesituuletin ei palauta tehonopeutta vaan sitä ennen asetetun
nopeuden.

HUOLTO
Comfort Panelin puhdistus
• Avaa Comfort Panel sen nupeilla.
• Irrota valojen liitin.
• Irrota paneeli liesituulettimen rungosta siirtämällä
kiinnitystapin vipua ja vapauttamalla samalla paneelin toinen
pää kiinnitystapista.
• Comfort Panelia ei saa pestä astianpesukoneessa.
• Puhdista se ulkopuolelta kostealla liinalla ja neutraalilla
pesunesteellä.
• Puhdista se myös sisäpuolelta kostealla liinalla ja neutraalilla
pesuaineella, älä käytä märkiä liinoja tai sieniä äläkä
vesisuihkua. Älä käytä hankaavia aineita.
• Toimenpiteen päätyttyä liitä uudelleen valojen liitin, kiinnitä
paneeli liesituulettimen runkoon ja sulje se kääntämällä nuppia
avaussuunnan suhteen vastakkaiseen suuntaan.
Rasvasuodattimet
METALLISTEN RASVASUODATTIMIEN PUHDISTUS
• Suodattimet on pudistettava kahden kuukauden välein tai
useammin, jos laitetta käytetään paljon.
• Avaa etupaneeli kääntämällä nupeista.
• Avaa lasilevy.
• Poista suodattimet yksi kerrallaan, kun olet ensin avannut
kiinnityselementit.
• Pese suodattimet. Vältä niiden taivuttamista. Anna
suodattimien kuivua ennen niiden paikalleen asettamista.
• Kun asennat suodattimet takaisin, varmista, että kahva on
näkyvissä ulkopuolella.
• Sulje lasilevy ja kiinnitä etupaneeli.

Hajusuodattimet (kiertoilmaversio)
AKTVIIVIHIILISUODATTIMIEN VAIHTO
• Aktiivihiilisuodattimia ei voi pestä. Ne vaihdetaan neljän kuukauden väliajoin tai useimmin, mikäli tuuletinta käytetään
paljon.
• Avaa etupaneeli kääntämällä nupeista.
• Avaa lasilevy.
• Poista rasvasuodattimet.
• Poista keittiöhajujen kyllästämä aktiivihiilisuodatin vetämällä
sen kiinnityshakasista.
• Asenna rasvasuodattimet paikoilleen.
• Sulje lasilevy ja kii nnitä etupaneeli.
Valaistus
Huomio: Tässä laitteessa on valkoinen LED-valo, luokka 1M
vastaa normia EN 60825-1: 1994 + A1:2002 + A2:2001; suurin
valoteho @439nm: 7µW. Älä katso suoraan optisilla välineillä
(kiikari, suurennuslasi….).
• Vaihtoa varten ota yhteys huoltopalveluun ("Hankintaa varten
ota yhteys huoltopalveluun").
