Risques électriques

• Avant d’accéder aux bornes de raccordement,
tous les circuits d’alimenta-tion doivent être dé­connectés. SI le câble d’alimentation est endo­magé, il doitêtre remplacé par le fabricant, son
service après-vente ou une personne dequali­facation similaire afin d’éviter un danger.

• La déconnexion peut être obtenue en prévoy­ant une fiche de prise de cou-rant accessible ou
en incorporant un interrupteur dans les canali­sations fixesconformément aux règles
d’installation.

• Ne modifiez pas ou n'essayer pas de modifier
les caractéristiques de cetappareil. Cela
représenterait un danger pour vous.

• Les réparations doivent être exclusivement
effectuées par un spécialisteagréé.

• Débranchez toujours la hotte avant de
procéder à son nettoyage ou à sonentretien.

• N'utilisez jamais d'appareils à vapeur ou à

• Une ventilation convenable de la pièce doit
être prévue lorsqu’une hotte decuisine est utili­sée simultanément avec des appareils utilisant
du gaz ou unautre combustible (ne s’applique
pas aux appareils qui renvoient uniquementl’air
dans la pièce).

Risques d’incendie

• Il est interdit de flamber des aliments ou de
faire fonctionner des foyers gazsans récipients
de cuisson, au dessous de la hotte (les
flammes aspirées ris-queraient de détériorer
l'appareil).

• Les fritures effectuées sous l'appareil doivent
faire l'objet d'une surveillanceconstante. Les
huiles et graisses portées à très haute tempéra­ture peuventprendre feu.

• Respectez la fréquence de nettoyage et de
remplacement des filtres.L'accumulation de
dépôts de graisse risque d'occasionner un
incendie.

•Le fonctionnement au dessus d'un foyer à
combustible (bois, charbon…) n'estpas

autorisé.

• Lorsque la hotte de cuisine est placée au
dessus d’un appareil à gaz, la dis-tance mini­male entre le dessus de la table et le dessous
de la hotte doit êtred’au moins 70 cm. Si les
instructions de la table de cuisson installée
sous lahotte spécifient une distance plus
grande que 70 cm, celle-ci doit être priseen
compte.

• RESPECT DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT

— Les matériaux d’emballage de cet appareil sont recyclables. Participez à leur recyclage
et contribuez ainsi à la protection de l’environnement en les déposant dans les conteneurs
municipaux prévus à cet effet.
— Votre appareil contient également de nombreux matériaux recyclables. Il est donc mar-

qué de ce logo a n de vous indiquer que les appareils usagés ne doivent pas
être mélangés avec d’autres déchets. Le recyclage des appareils qu’organise
votre fabricant sera ainsi réalisé dans les meilleures conditions, conformé­ment à la directive européenne 2002/96/CE sur les déchets d’équipements
électriques et électroniques.
Adressez vous à votre mairie ou à votre revendeur pour connaître les points
de collecte des appareils usagés les plus proches de votre domicile.

• RESPECT DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT

— Veillez à respecter un écart minimum
de 35-50 cm (14-20 pouces) entre la table
de cuisson et la hotte aspirante, pour un
rendement d’aspiration performant. Voir
Image 1.

— Fixez l’ancrage à l’endroit correspondant,
en veillant à bien l’aligner. Voir Image 2.

— Introduisez le tube rallonge dans la hotte.
Voir Image 3.

— Accrochez la hotte à l’ancrage et ajustez
sa hauteur et sa verticalité à l’aide des vis
de réglage. Fixez le corps de la hotte à l’aide
de la vis de  xation. Voir Image 4.

Remarque

Les deux conduits d’évacuation de
l’air vers l’extérieur, de 6 mm de diamètre,
se trouvent à l’arrière de la carcasse.

Remarque

— Cet appareil doit être installé par un

électricien agréé ou du personnel qualifi é.

— L’air vicié ne doit jamais être évacué
vers une cheminée en service rejetant des
fumées ou des gaz de combustion. Ne pas y
raccorder les conduits d’évacuation.

— Les conduits ne doivent comporter aucun
coude prononcé supérieur à 120º. Évacuer
l’air vicié de préférence horizontalement
vers le haut ou directement à l’air libre par
traversée du mur extérieur.

— Une fois la hotte installée, vérifi ez qu’elle
soit bien nivelée, afi n d’éviter l’accumulation
de graisse à l’intérieur. Voir Image 5.

1. Appuyez sur le bouton basse vitesse,

l’avertisseur sonore retentit une fois et le
moteur tourne à basse vitesse. Appuyez
sur la touche nouveau sur Appuyez à
nouveau sur la touche pour arrêter le moteur .

deux lampes s’allument. Appuyez à
nouveau et elles s’éteignent.

• RETRAIT ET NETTOYAGE DES FILTRES À GRAISSE

— Retirez les filtres, tel qu’indiqué sur
l’Image 7.

— Vous pouvez nettoyer les  ltres comme
suit :

1. Plongez les  ltres à graisse dans de
l’eau chaude (40-50 degrés) contenant
du détergeant liquide et laissez tremper
durant environ 3 minutes. Au besoin,
frottez légèrement avec une brosse
douce, en veillant à ne pas endommager
les  ltres.

2. Vous pouvez les laver en lave-vaisselle,
à 60º C de température.

— Ne pas utiliser de produits abrasifs, pour
éviter d’endommager l’appareil.

Attention

Débranchez l’appareil avant de procé-

der à son nettoyage.

— Retirez les  ltres à graisse. Voir Image 7.

— Le  ltre à charbon actif (Image 8) se trouve
à l’extrémité du moteur. Tournez le  ltre dans
le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une montre
pour le dévisser complètement.

— Procédez à l’inverse pour installer le
nouveau  ltre à charbon actif.

Attention :

Les fi ltres à charbon actif ne sont ni
lavables ni recyclables. Ils doivent être rem­placés tous les trois ou six mois, en fonction
de leur usage plus ou moins intensif.

• CHANGEMENT DE L’AMPOULE

Retirez le cache et le hublot et ensuite
l’ampoule grillée. Voir Image 9.
Introduisez une nouvelle ampoule et
remettez en place le hublot et le cache.

Attention :

Avant tout nettoyage et entretien, mettez d’abord la hotte hors tension, soit en
débranchant la prise de courant, soit en actionnant le disjoncteur/fusible.

commerce dilués dans de
l’eau, puis rincez à l’eau
claire et essuyez avec un
chiffon doux.

Utilisez un nettoyant
ménager du commerce,
puis rincez abondamment
et séchez. Ce nettoyage
peut être effectué dans

Vérifi ez que:

• il n’y a pas de coupure de courant.

• une vitesse a été effectivement
sélectionnée.

Vérifi ez que:

• la vitesse moteur sélectionnée est
suffi sante pour la quantité de fumée et
de vapeur dégagée.

• la cuisine est suffi samment aérée pour
permettre une prise d’air.

• le fi ltre à charbon n’est pas usagé
(hotte en version recyclage).

Vérifi ez que:

• il n’y a pas de coupure de courant.

• le dispositif à coupure omnipolaire ne
s’est pas enclenché.

 Conseil d’économie d’énergie
Pour une utilisation optimale de votre appareil,

• Raccorder votre appareil à une gaine de diamètre 150mm de préférence.

Risk of fire

• It is forbidden to flambé food or to turn on gas
rings that are not covered by a cooking recipient
beneath the hood, as the flames may sucked in
and damage the appliance.

• Keep a constant eye on fryers used beneath
the hood. When heated to very high tempera­tures, oil and fat can catch fire.

the recommended frequency. Accumulated de­posits of grease can cause a fire.

• It is forbidden to use the hood above a fuel fire

• If the hood is installed above a gas-fired appli­ance, leave at least 70 cm between the top of
the range and the underside of the hood. If the
instructions of the range installed under the
hood specify a distance greater than 70 cm,
then this distance must be respected.

• ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

— The cooker hood should be placed at a
distance of 35-50cm (14-20inch) from the
cooking surface for the best effect.
See Pic 1.

— Install the hook on a suitable place once
the installation height is  xed, and keep it in
line. See Pic 2.

— Install the extension tube and chimney
on the cooker hood. See Pic 3.

— Put the cooker hood on the hook. After
adjusting the position,  x the body with
safty screw. See Pic 4.

the back casing, with diameter of 6mm

— Any installation work must be ca-

rried out by a qualifi ed electrician or com­petent person.

— Do not connect the ducting system of

the hood to any existing ventilation system
which is being used for any other applian­ce, such as warmer tube, gas tube, hot
wind tube.

— The angle of the bend of the ventilation

pipe should not be less than 120º; you must
direct the pipe horizontally, or, alternatively,
the pipe should go up from the initial point
and should be led to an outer wall.

— After the installation, make sure that the

cooker hood is level to avoid greasecollec­tion at on end. See Pic. 5

• TO USE YOUR COOKER HOOD

How to use the control panel .

a. Press the button “Low”, the inner indicator

light of switch starts shining, the motor is
running at low speed. Press the button
again,the motor stop.

b. Press the button “Mid”, the inner indicator

light of switch starts shining, the motor
is running at medium speed. Press the
button again, the motor stop.

c. Press the button “High”, the inner

indicator light of switch starts shining,the
motor is running at high speed. Press the
button again, the motor stop.

d. Press the button “Light”, both lights start

shining. Press the button again, the lights
are switched off then.

— Tear down your cooker hood as per the
approach shown on Pic. 7

— You can clean the  lter as below:

1. Soak them for about 3 minute in hot
water (40-50 degrees) with a grease­loosening detergent then brush it gently
with a soft brush. Please do not apply too
much pressure ,avoid to damage it .

2. It can be put into a dishwasher with
detergent ,set the temperature at around
60 degrees.

— Please do not use abrasive detergent for
it will damage the hood.

Note

Make sure that cooker hood is shut
down before cleaning.

• INSTALLING THE CARBON FILTER (OPTINAL), SEE PIC.8

— Remove the  lters see Pic.7.

— The charcoal  lters (Pic.8) are located
at either end of the motor. Turn the
charcoal  lters anti-clockwise until they are
unscrewed.

— Apply reverse procedure to uninstall the
charcoal  lter.

Warning:

the charcoal cannot be washed or re­cycled. It should be changed at at three or
six months according to your cooking habit

• CHANGING THE LIGHT BULB

Take the bracket and glass off and then take
the broken light bulb off, See Pic 9.
Fix the new light bulb,glass and bracket on.
Attention:Before changing the lights, ensure
that the appliance is not live.

touch dirty dishes or
silverware.)

Ensure that:

• The power is not cut off.

• A speed has been selected.

Ensure that:

• The selected motor speed is suffi cient
for the quantity of smoke and vapours to
be cleared.

• The kitchen is suffi ciently ventilated to
allow for fresh air intake.

• The carbon fi lter is not worn (hood
operating in recycling mode).

Ensure that:

• The power is not cut off.

• The single-pole cut-off device was not
activated.

Any maintenance on your equipment should be undertaken by:

- either your dealer,

- or another quali ed mechanic who is an authorized agent for the brand appliances.
When making an appointment, state the full reference of your equipment (model, type and
serial number). This information appears on the manufacturer’s nameplate attached to your
equipment.

 Energy saving advice
For optimal use of your appliance,

• Preferably connect your appliance to a 150mm ducting.

• Limiting the number of bends and the maximum length of the ducting.

• Adjust your speed to the cooking method and the number of pots.

• The use of the back burner of your cooking appliance is favoured.

• Maintain your appliance regularly to retain optimum performance.
