Termostat Saswell SAS908XWHB-7-APP je žični programski termost at za upravljanje ogrevalnih sistemov s pomočjo
aplikacije preko vašega pametnega tel efo na n a s istemu iOS ali Android. Vse nastavitve temp er atu r te r sam a regulacija
se upravlja preko termostata samega oziroma v načinu upravljanja preko aplikacije se le ta izvaja preko aplikacije.
Sistem tudi omogoča nastavitev programske ure ogrevanja za 7, 5+2, 5+1+ 1 dni in s 4 oz. 6 pr ekl opi na dan oz. prek o
aplikacije s štirimi preklopi.
Navodila za uporabo i n vzdrževa nje so del spl ošnih prod ajnih pogoj ev. Pridržuj emo si pravic o do spremem b detajlo v,
tehnologije in izvedbe. Garancija velja le skupaj z računom. Dopuščamo možnost napak v tekstu.
Varovanje narave

Pomembna opozorila pred prvo uporabo, namestitvijo in vzdrževanje naprave:
Pred prvo uporabo pozorno preberite navodila za uporabo ne samo termostata, ampak tudi peči ali klimatske naprave.
• Pred inštalacijo termostata izklopite dovod električnega toka! • Priporočamo, da inštalacijo opravi kvalificiran delavec!
• Električni krog m o ra biti zava rovan z varovalko, ki ne presega tok ovn e obr emenitve ožičenja (max 16A). • Pri montaži
upoštevajte vse varnostne predpise • Izdelka ne izpostavljajte neposredni sončni svetlobi, ekstremnemu mrazu, vlagi in
naglim spremembam temperature. To bi znižalo natančnost merjenja temperature • Izdelka ne nameščajte na mesta,
ki so nagnjena k vibracijam in pretresom – to lahko povzroči poškodbe • Izdelka ne izpostavljajte prekomernemu tlaku,
sunkom, prahu, visokim temperaturam ali vlagi saj le te lahko povzročijo poškodbe na kateri izmed funkcij izdelka,
krajšo energetsko vzdržljivost, poškodbo baterij in deformacije plastičnih delov • Izdelka ne izpostavljajte dežju ali vlagi,

Spremembe temperatur, časovnih preklopov (ob kateri uri želite preklop) vršite s tipko P-kratek pritisk, željena vrednost
utripa - spremembo izvršite s tipko ali . Na naslednji nivo oz. časovni program preidete zopet s kratkim pritiskom na
tipko P. Če želite takoj zapustiti nastavitve, kratko pritisnete tipko R.
V primeru da ste začeli z programiranjem in vam željena vrednost utripa in niste v roku 20 sec pritisnili no be ne tipke se
vam nastavitev samodejno shrani.

Namestitev
Namestitev baterij
Najprej odstranite zadnji pokrov termostata. To storite tako,
da z občutkom primete pokrov zgoraj in spodaj in potegnete
navzven. Nato pravil no vstavite dve AA (LR6) 1.5V bateriji.
Pokrov lahko zaenkrat pustite zunaj, zaradi naslednjega
koraka.
Montaža
Termostat namestite na steno v željeni sobi.
Stensko namestitev opravite tako, da ostranite zadnji pokrov
in si označite kje boste izvrtali luknje zanj. Nato pri vijačite
pokrov na označeno mesto in nanj »pripnite« sobno enoto.
Za najboljše delovanje mora biti termostat postavljen v
odprtem prostoru, najmanj 30 cm oddaljena od
kovinskih delov, kot so kovinske omarice, bojler,itn.

Namig: Če naprava ne bo v uporabi dalj časa in ni potrebe po ogrevanju, iz nje odstranite baterije in s tem preprečite možnost puščanja baterij ter podaljšate življenjsko dobo baterij e.

Osnovna nastavitev termostata
Nastavitev ure
Ob pritisku na ti pko , se vklopi način urejanja dni in ure. To opazite tudi z utripanjem trenutne pozicije na ekranu.
Program vam najpr ej po nudi urej anje trenutne ure – minute. Vrednost spremin jate s tipkami ter . Ko ste zadovoljni
z nastavitvijo minut, pritis nite ti pk o , da preidete na urejanje trenutne ure. Ko končate z urejanjem ure, pritisnite tipko
in program vam bo ponudil urejanje trenutnega dneva. Prikaz je v angleščini in sicer po vrstnem redu Mon
(ponedeljek), Tue (torek), … Sat (sobota), Sun (nedelja). Ko končate z urejanjem teh nastavitev, jih potrdite s tipko R.
Nastavitev program o v
S kratkim pritisk om na tipko P preidete v način urejanja programov ogrevanja. Pri vsakemu urejanju programov se
sklicujte na privzete tabele programov.
Ko ste v načinu urejanja, s tipko P prehajate med nastavitvami (dnevi, ura, temperatura, časovni program) in tipkama
ter spreminjate žel ene vred nosti (k o izbrana vredn ost utripa ). Na i zbiro ima mo dnevne nastavi tve za 7 , 5+2, 5+ 1+1
dni ter časovne programe 1-4 o z. 1-6, kot privzeto je pa nastavljen 7 dnevni program s 6 časovnimi programi. Za
spremembe se obrnite na napredne nastavitve.
Če nastavitev ne spreminjate, veljajo privzete nastavitve iz spodnjih privzetih tabel programov. Če se zmotite pri
nastavitvah progr am ov in jih bi radi vrnili na tovarniško pri v zete, dr žit e ti pko R za 3 sekunde med načinom urejanja. Na
ekranu utripne prikaz dEF.

Primer nastavitve privzetega 7 dnevnega časovnega programa s 6 preklopi. Za re fer e nco uporabite tabelo 2 iz poglavja PRIVZETIH TABEL PROGRAMOV
1. Vstopite v način urejanja s kratkim pritiskom na tipko P.
2. Začne utripati dan, nato s tipko ali izberete želeni dan katerega želite urediti. Izbiro potrdite s kratkim
pritiskom na tipko P.
3. Sedaj utripa ura. S tipko ali izberete želeno uro za začetek časovnega programa. Izbiro potrdite s
kratkim pritiskom na tipko P.
4. Sedaj utripa temperatura. S tipko ali izberete želeno temperaturo časovnega programa. Izbiro
potrdite s kratkim pritiskom na tipko P.
5. Sedaj ste končali urejanje prvega od šestih časovnih programov za izbrani dan, utripa ura in s tem začnete
urejati naslednji časovni program. S kratkim pritiskom na tipko R zaključite urejanje programa ali
nadaljujete s kratkim pritiskom na P urejanje drugega časovnega programa, po istih korakih od 2-4. Ko
končate s šestim časovnim programom preidete na urejanje naslednjega dne po istih korakih 2-4.
Ko ste končate urejanje programov ogrevanja le to potrdite s tipko R. V primeru da v roku 30 sekund ne naredite
spremembe se shrani zadnja nastavitev.

Pametna prilagoditev – Če imate to funkcijo vklopljeno, bo termostat
začel delovati že pred preklopom naslednjega programa gretja in
koliko časa prej mora začeti z ogrevanjem.

Dodatni načini uporabe
Začasna sprememba temperature
Naprava ima možnost začasne spremembe temperature z opcijo »temporary hold«. Ta opcija se preprosto aktivira z
ročno spremembo temperature s tipkami ali . Če je opcija aktivirana, se vam na ekranu prikaže napis
»TEMPORARY HOLD« (glej opis prikaza, št. 11). Željena temperatura ostane aktivna do naslednje spremembe
programa (ure). Z gumbom R lahko tudi prekličete aktivirano opcijo.
Konstantna, stalna sprememba (držanje) temperature
Naprava ima možnost konstantne spremembe temperature z opcijo »permanent hold«. Opcija vam omogoča
neprekinjeno konstantno temperaturo vse dni in ure v tednu, neodvisno od programske nastavitve.
Ta opcija se prepros to aktivira z daljšim pri tiskom (5 sekund) na ti pko P. Če je opcija aktivirana, se vam na ekranu
prikaže »PERMANEN T HOLD « (glej o pis prika za, št. 11) . Žele no temper aturo nas tavimo s ti pkam o oz. . Opci ja
»permanent hold« ostane aktivna dokler je ne prekličemo s kratkim pritiskom na tipko P ali R.

Zaklepanje tipk
Ta funkcija vam omogoča zaklep termostata in ko je funkcija vklopljena so onemogočene vse morebitne spremembe
nastavitev. Funkcijo aktivirate tako, da istočasno držite tipk in za tri sekunde. Ko je funkcija aktivirana, se na
zaslonu prikaže simbol ključavnice (glej opis prikaza ekrana – 14). Funkcijo izklopite z daljšim (3 sekunde) pritiskom
tipk in . Na ekranu izgine simbol ključavnice.
Sprememba načina uporabe – REMOTE AP / WIFI HOTSPOT način termostata
Termostat ima dva načina upravljanja – preko aplikacije in interneta ali ročno, preko termostata samega.
Za upravljanje termostata preko termostata samega, brez aplikacije in interneta, da deluje kot navadni tedenski žični
termostat, preprosto izključite glavno električno napajanje (230V) in pustite napajanje zgolj preko baterij. Termostat
sedaj deluje kot navadni termostat.
* Za direktno – testno upravljanje, mora biti termostat v ROOM CON (glej opis prikaza 7). Sedaj se lahko povežete
direktno na termostat in možna je nastavitev in ogled temperature prostora preko termostata – To deluje zgolj ko ste v
bližini termostata, saj se vzpostavi direktna WIFI povezava med telefonom in termostatom.
* Za brezžično daljinsko upravljanje preko aplikacije, mora biti termostat v načinu MASTER CON (glej opis prikaza 7).
To pomeni, da je termostat povezan v omrežje in je možen nadzor preko sparjene aplikacije.
Za spremembo načinov – MASTER CON -> ROOM CON je postopek sledeč: Pri uporabi WIFI storitev, mora biti
termostat vedno povezav v električno napajanje (230V 50Hz), tako da naj usposobljena oseba opravi električno vezavo
termostata. Nato postavite termostat v OFF način in sedaj držite tipko za vklop za 5 sekund. Opaziti bi morali
spremembo iz MASTER v ROOM con. Termostat se samodejno vzpostavi v način MASTER CON, ko je termostat
povezan z aplikacijo.

Namestitev aplikacije
Na svojem telefonu odprite trgovino za aplikacije (Google Play Store, App Store) in
iščite za iskalni nit »Thermostat« ali »Thermostat Saswell«, razvijalca Saswell.
Točno ime aplikacije je »Thermsotat«. Aplikacijo namestite.
Sedaj bi morali imeti med nameščenimi aplikacijami novo ikono »Thermostat«.
Pritisnite na njo, da odprete pr ogram.
Uporaba aplikacije – lokalna uporaba
Termostat lahko uporabljate tudi brez internetnega dostopa, preko aplikacije,
vendar v okrnjenem, testnem načinu – lokalna uporaba. V tem načinu morate biti v
dosegu termostata in aplikacija vam bo omogočala ogled temperature prostora ter
nastavitev trenutne želene temperature.
Android: Da bi vključili ta način, odprite aplikacijo. Na ekranu se vam v desnem
kotu zgoraj prikaže napis »DIRECT«. Pritisnite na ta napis in program začne z
iskanjem Saswell WIFI termostatov v bližini. Aplikacija išče odprte termostate in
njihova WIFI brezžična omrežja, ki jih oddajajo. Ko aplikacija prikaže najdene
termostate, izberete želenega in kliknite na njegov SSID (le tega lahko tudi najdete
na ohišju termostatu in sicer se začne z "THERMOSTAT-".

Ko kliknete nanj, lahko nastavite želeno ali zgolj preverite temperaturo prostora preko aplikacije.
Pomembno – Da bi dostopali do testnega načina lokalne uporabe, mora biti termostat priključen na električno
napajanje in ne baterijsko ter v načinu ROOM CON – v nasprotnem primeru termostata ne boste videli na vašem
telefonu.

iOS: Da bi vključili ta način, odprite aplikacijo. Na ekranu se vam v desnem kotu zgoraj prikaže napis »DIRECT«.
Pritisnite na ta napis in sedaj se vrnite v meni telefona ter pojdite v nastavitve telefona / WLAN. Najdite SSID
termostata in kliknite nanj (SSID se začne z "THERMOSTAT-"). Sedaj se vrnite v Thermostat aplikacijo in sedaj lahko
nastavite želeno ali zgolj preverite temperaturo prostora preko aplikacije.
Pomembno – Da bi dostopali do testnega načina lokalne uporabe, mora biti termostat priključen na električno
napajanje in ne baterijsko ter v načinu ROOM CON – v nasprotnem primeru termostata ne boste videli na vašem
telefonu.

Uporaba aplikacije – Ustvarjanje Saswell računa (registracija)
Da bi shranili vse vaše termostate in nastavljali tedenske program termostata, morate opraviti
registracijo Vašega Saswell računa. To storite enostavno in anonimno in sicer tako:
1. Odprete aplikacijo.
2. Ker računa še nimate, pritisnite na "REGISTER".
3. Pod EMAIL vnesite Vaš veljaven e-poštni račun, kjer boste prejeli potrditveno
epošto.
4. Pod PASSWORD vnesite Vaše želeno geslo, ki si ga boste zapomnili.
5. Ponovite vneseno geslo pod RE ENTER PASSWORD.
6. Pritisnite REGISTER in s tem ste samo še en korak do končanja postopka.
7. Preverite vaš e-poštni nabiralnik in najdite potrditveni email. Pritisnite na
potrditveno povezavo in s tem ste zaključili registracijski postopek. Če e-pošte ne
najdete, preverite pod »spam« razdelek v vašem poštnem odjemalcu.
Sedaj ko imate ustvarjen vaš račun Saswell, se z njim prijavite in sicer v glavnem meniju aplikacije vnesite pod EMAIL
vaš poštni naslov in pod PASSWORD vaš geslo ter pritisnite LOGIN. Sedaj bi morali videli pregled (Overview) vseh
vaših termostatov – brez skrbi, če je trenutno prazen, bomo v naslednjem koraku dodali Vaš novi Saswell termostat.

Uporaba aplikacije – Dodajanje termostata
Ker bi radi dodali nov termostat k vašemu računu za upravljanje preko interneta, morate
pod prvim korakom imeti termostat pod stalnim električnim napajanjem (baterijsko
napajanje ne omogoča daljinskega upravljanja Saswell termostatov). Sedaj preverite da je
termostat v ROOM CON načinu – če ni, pojdi par strani nazaj in ga prestavite iz MASTER
CON v ROOM CON. Če pod indikatorjem prikaza 7 ne piše nobenega od naštetih načinov,
pomeni da je naprava v baterijskem napajanju. Odstranite baterije in priključite termostat
na električno napajanje – električno inštalacijo naj opravi strokovno usposobljena oseba!
Sedaj pa odprite aplikacijo in se prijavite s svojimi registracijskimi podatki in pritisnite na
+ v desnem zgornjem kotu ekrana ter sledite korakom za vašo napravo na
tipko
naslednjih straneh…

Android Če ste lastnik pametne naprave z Android operacijskim sistemom in imate termostat pripravljen v ROOM
CON načinu, priključen v električno omrežje, sledite naslednjim korakom:
1. Ker ste kliknili na + v desnem zgornjem kotu ekrana, pritisnite »FIND DEVICE«. Sedaj bi morali videti
seznam vseh Saswell internetnih termostatov, ki so v bližini in so pripravljeni na parjenje z Vašim Saswell
računom.
2. Izberite želeni termostat, ki ga želite povezati v vaš račun. Če jih imate več, jih ločite glede na SSID napis
na ohišju termostat. SSID je ime omrežja, ki ga ima termostat in po tem tudi ločite fizično ter v sami
aplikaciji.
3. Sedaj vam aplikacija pokaže na izbiro vsa brezžična omrežja, na katera se lahko poveže Vaš novi Saswell
internetni termostat. Izberite tistega, ki je najbližje termostatu, saj boste le tako lahko zagotovili kvalitetno
internetno povezavo termostatu. Priporočamo, da se s svojim mobilnim telefonom postavite na lokacijo
termostata in preko telefona ocenite jakost vašega brezžičnega omrežja. Zaželeno je imeti vsaj 2 ali več
vidnih črtic pri indikatorju jakosti wifi signala.
4. Ko ste izbrali želeno WIFI omrežje, preverite podatke – ime vašega omrežja ter wifi geslo. Le tega dopišite,
če še ni vnesen. Ko ste to vse naredili, pritisnite na »CONFIG«.
5. Aplikacija sedaj izpiše »Connect device to network…« in opravlja povezovanje termsotata z vašim
brezžičnim omrežjem. Če je postopek uspešno izveden, vam aplikacija ispiše »Device connect internet
success« in ponudi tipko »TRY NOW«. Pritisnite na njo.
6. Če je termostat uspešno dodan, ga bi sedaj morali videti med pregledom (»Overview«) vseh vaših Saswell
internetnih termostatov pod imenom njegovega SSID (napis na ohišju termostata »SSID:Thermostat-….«).
7. Uspešno ste dodali svoj novi Sas w ell te rmos tat v aplikacijo.

iOS Če ste lastnik pametne naprave z iOS operacijskim sistemom in imate termostat pripravljen v ROOM CON
načinu, priključen v električno omrežje ter ste trenutno povezani v vaše lokalno brezžično omrežje, sledite naslednjim
korakom:
1. Ker ste kliknili na + v desnem zgornjem kotu ekrana, pojdi sedaj iz aplikacije v nastavitve vaše iOS naprave
in pod razdelek WIFI /WLAN.
2. Vaš telefon vam bo sedaj prikazal vsa brezžična omrežja, ki so na voljo. Izberite WLAN omrežje, ki ima isto
ime kot napis na ohišju Vašega termostata »SSID:Thermostat-….« in se povežite nanj.
3. Sedaj se vrnite v Thermostat aplikacijo. Aplikacija bi morala sama zaznati, da ste povezani na Saswell
termostat ter prešla na naslednji korak, v kateremu morate potrditi geslo Vašega domačega brezžičnega
omrežja. Vpišite geslo in dokončajte postopek s pritiskom na »SEND«
4. Če je termostat uspešno dodan, ga bi sedaj morali videti med pregledom (»Overview«) vseh vaših Saswell
internetnih termostatov pod imenom njegovega SSID (napis na ohišju termostata »SSID:Thermostat-….«).
5. Uspešno ste dodali svoj novi Sas w ell te rmos tat v aplikacijo.

Uporaba aplikacije – Preimenovanje in odstranjevanje termostata
Vsi na novo dodani termostati imajo generična imena in če bi si radi organizirali termostate
v vašem domu, lahko vsakega preimenujete po vaših željah. To storite tako da, ko ste v
pregledu vseh Vaših naprav (termostatov), držite par sekund na imenu termostata,
katerega želite preimenovati in aplikacija Vam ponudi opcijo »Rename thermostat« ter
»Remove«.
Preimenovanje Ker želimo preimenovati termostat, izberemo opcijo »Rename
thermostat«. Aplikacija nam ponudi vnos oz. spremembo imena, katero lahko poimenujete
recimo »Dnevna soba« ali kaj podobnega. Ko končate s preimenovanjem, pritisnite OK.
Izbris Ker želimo izbrisati termostat, izberemo opcijo »Remove« in
potrdimo izbris z YES.

Ko imate dodane termostate v aplikaciji, vam pod razdelkom »Overview« aplikacija
prikaže stanje le teh – ECO (away) način, trenutna temperatura prostora, želena
temperatura prostora in če je termostat vključen.
Če je termostat na voljo (v bližini vašega povezanega brezžičnega omrežja) lahko
pritisnete na ime termostata in preidete v pregled termostata.
Sedaj lahko 1) nastavite začasno temperaturo (»Target«) s pritski na puščici gor ali
dol, 2) imate pregled nad trenutno temperaturo prostora (»Current«), 3) popolnoma
izključite termostat (»Slide to power off«) tako, da podrsate na desno po napisu, 4)
vključite ECO način (»AWAY«), 5) pregledate zgodovina temperature prosto ra in
nastavitve ogrevanja ali 6) preidete v programiranje urnika ogrevanja s pritiskom
na tipko »PROGRAM«.
Vklop ECO načina oz. načina »AWAY« vam do preklica prekine vse nastavljene
temperature ogrevanja in vključi vzdrževanje temperature ogrevanja do 16°C. Ta
način je primeren ob vaši daljši odsotnosti. Za vklop oz. izklop načina, podrsajte
stikalo v zgornjem desnem kot u (4 ).

»PROGRAM«. Ta vam odpre meni, ki ga vidite na levi. Urnik ogrevanja je lahko
vključen ali izključen (1 – podrsate).
Sedaj nastavljate urnike ogrevanja (2) za izbran oz. izbrane dneve, ki jih označite
na točki 3. Ko imate izbran oz. izbrane dneve, lahko nastavljate za do 6 različnih
dnevnih preklopov (4). Izberite želeni preklop in z drsanjem nastavite želen
pričetek programa (5) ter s pritiskanjem na puščici gor ali dol, nastavite želeno
temperaturo ob nastavljeni uri (6). Ko nastavite vse postavke za želen program,
pritisnite na gumb »SUBMIT« (7) da shranite nastavitve.
Če želite nastaviti začasno temperaturo, se vrnite na prejšnjo stran (točka 1),
kjer je opis pregleda termostata in s pomočjo puščic za gor in dol nastavite
želeno temperaturo. Ta temperatura bo ostala začasno, do naslednjega pričetka
programa ogrevanja, ki ga imate nastavljenega med programi. Če je je progam
ogrevanja onemogočen, vam bo Vaša nastavljena temperatura ostala do preklica
oz. ponovnega vklopa programov ogrevanja – stalno (permanentno)
nastavljena temperatura.

Quick start and tips
Temperature changing, programming switches (at what hour the switch should occur) and all confirmations are done by
short pressing bu tton P, when th e value is bli nking. You c an change the v alues, when th ey are blink ing, by pressi ng

Installation
Battery installation
First remove the rear cover from the thermostat. Do this by
carefully pulling the cov er fr om the top and bottom of the
cover and pull it outwards. Then insert two AA (LR6) 1.5V
batteries the correct polarity. You can leave the cover until
the next step.
Installation
You can place the thermostat on the wall in the desired room.
Perform the wall mounting by removing the back cov er
and marking where you will drill holes for it. Then, screw
the cover into the designated, marked place and
"attach" the room unit. Place the thermostat in a
location where it is not directly exposed to a heat
source or to sunlight (example in the picture).
For best performance, the thermostat should be
placed in an open space, at least 30 cm away from
metal parts such as metal cabinets, boiler. The
thermostat should not be mounted directly on the
metal surface.

Basic thermostat setting
Setting the clock
Pressing the button ent ers the clock and day setting mo de. When in edi ting mode, t he current setti ng position will
blink. First you a re setting the time – h ours an d m i n utes . You can change the value by pressing or buttons. When
you are done setting the time, press the
value by pressing or buttons. When you are done setting the time/date values, press the R button to exit and save.
Programming the heating modes and schedules
By short pressing the P key, you enter heating mode programming. For every program and schedule you can look up
to the default tables on the next pages.
When you are in editing mode, you can use the P button to switch between the settings (days, clock, temperature and
timer) and or keys to change the desired values (when the selected value flashes).
We can choose the settings for 7, 5 + 2, 5 + 1 + 1 days and 4 or 6 time switches. As the default program schedule
setting is set the 7-day program with 6 time programs. For changing these values, please refer to advanced settings.
If you won’t change any of the schedules, the default settings will stay. For reference, check the tables in the next pages.
If you are not happy with your settings you’ve made, you can always set th em back to factory defaul t b y holding button
R for 3 seconds. All changes made to the schedules will be lost and set to factory default! The display will show dEF.
When editing, if you don’t press any button for about 15 seconds, the device will save any changes made until then. You
can return to editing by going back with the same procedure.

1. Enter the editing mode by briefly pressing the P button.
2. The day flashes, then press or to select the day you want to edit. Confirm the selection by briefly
pressing the P button.
3. The time is blinking now. Press or key to select the desired time to start the time program. Confirm
the selection by briefly pressing the P button.
4. The temperature is now flashing. Press or button to select the desired temperature of the time
program. Confirm the selection by briefly pressing the P button.
5. Now you have finished editing the first of the six time programs for the selected day, the clock is flashing,
and the next time program (switch) editi ng is started. By briefly pressing the R key, you can finish editing
the program / schedule or continue by briefly pressing P to edit another time program, following the same
steps from 2-4.
When you are finished with the sixth time program, you will switch to editing the next day after the same
steps 2-4.
Once you have finished editing the heating programs, just confirm with briefly pressing the R k e y. If you do not mak e
any changes within 30 secon ds all th e settings are saved.

Additional modes
Temporary temperature change (Temporary hold)
The device has the option of temporarily changing the temperature with the option "temporary hold".
This option is simply activated by manually changing the temperature using or buttons. If the option is activated,
"TEMPORARY HOLD" appears on the screen (see display description, No. 11). The desired temperature remains
active until the change of program schedule occurs. With the R button, you can also cancel the activated option.
Constant temperature change (Permanent hold)
The device has the option of constant temperature change with the option "permanent hold". The option allows you to
keep a constant temperature every day and hour of the week, independent of the program settings as it overrides
them.
This option is simply activated with a longer press (5 seconds) on the P key. If the option is activated, "PERMANENT
HOLD" appears on the screen (see display description, No. 11). Set the desired temperature using or buttons.
The "permanent hold" option remains active until it is cancelled by briefly pressing the P or R key.

This feature allows you to lock the thermostat, and when the function is turned on, any changes to the settings are
disabled. Activate th e function by holding down and buttons at the same time for three seconds. When the
function is activated, the lock symbol is displayed (see display description - 14). You can switch off the function by
again holding and keys for 3 seconds. The lock symbol disappears on the screen.
Changing control mode – REMOTE AP / GATEWAY WIFI HOTSPOT mode
The thermostat has two control modes – via internet app or via thermostat itself.
To control the thermostat manually, as a normal wired thermostat without the app and internet access, simply unplug
the electrical connecti o n (23 0V – the installation should be done by a professional installer) and use the thermostat
only powered via batteries.
* For DIRECT – test mode control, the thermostat must be set in ROOM CON mode (see display description 7). Now
you can connect directly on the thermostat and test the temperature settings, see the current room temperature via
app. This only works when you're near the thermostat as you're c on nec ted wit h yo ur ph on e to the thermostats access
point.
* For REMOVE INTERNET APP control the thermostat must be set in MASTER CON mode (see display description
7). This means the thermostat is connected to the local wireless network and it's possible to control the thermostat via
app.
To change control modes the thermostat must be powered via electricity (230V 50Hz). Now turn off the thermostat so
that it says »OFF«. Now hold the ON OFF button for 5 seconds. The mode should go from MASTER to ROOM CON.
The thermostat goes to MASTER CON when it's connected to the local wireless network and paired with the app.

Saswell application APP – Installation, use – Step by step

Application installation
On your smart phone, open the app store (Google Play Store, App Store) and
search for »Thermostat« or »Thermostat Saswell«, developer Saswell. The exact
name of the app is »Thermosta t«. Inst a ll the ap p on you r devi ce .
Now you should have the icon of Thermostat visible in your applic atio ns on your
phone. Press on the icon to open the app.
Using the App – local, test mode
Thermostat can also be used via the app without internet access but in test mode –
local mode. This means, you can only see the current room temperature and set
the desired temperature but cannot set any heating schedules.
Android: To use this mode, open the app. On the top right of the screen you'll see
»DIRECT« button. Click on it and the application will start looking for nearby
Saswell thermostats. All of nearby thermostats, that are in ROOM CON mode will
be seen and listed. Select the one that you wi sh to c on nect by pr essing on his
SSID* name (thermostats SSID is also printed on the case of the thermostat
starting with »THER MOST A T -»
When you click on it, you'll be able to see the current room temperature and set the
desired heating temperature via app.

iOS: To use this mode, open the app. On the top right of the screen you'll see
»DIRECT« button. Click on it and now go back to your phone's settings menu,
WIFI settings. Find the SSID* of the thermostat and click on it (SSID starts with
»THERMOSTAT-»). Now return to the Saswell app. Now, you should able to see
the current room temperature and set the desired heating temperature via app.
Important – To be able to access the local, test mode, the thermostat must be
powered via electricity (230V 50Hz) and not only with batteries and set in ROOM
CON. Otherwise, you won’t be able to see your thermostat.
*SSID – SSID is the name of the WIFI wireless network

Using the App – Creating a new Saswell accou n t (registration)
To save all of your thermostats and be able to set your heating schedule programs, you have to create a new Saswell
account if you don't have one yet. You can do thi s easy and anonymous by:
1. Open the app.
2. Because you don't have an acco un t ye t , press "REGISTER".
3. Under EMAIL enter your valid em ai l ad dress, where you'll receive the acc o unt confirmation email
4. Under PASSWORD enter your desired password. Write it down somewhere.
5. Re-enter your desired password under RE ENTER PASSWORD
6. Press REGISTER and b y doin g that you’re just one step away from completing the registration.
7. Check your email mailbox and find the confirmation email. Click on the confirmation link and the registration
is complete. If you can't find the email, check your Spam folder.
Now that you have your new Saswell account, use it to login to your account in the app. Under Username enter your
email address used for registration and under Password enter your password. Now press login.
You should now be in the overview screen, which should be empty, but don't worry, as you've just created your
account it's time to add your first thermostat to your account.

Using the App – Adding a new thermostat
Before adding a new thermostat to your account, you have to make sure that the
thermostat is electrically powered (not only battery powered). Now check if the
thermostat is in AP mode – ROOM CON. If not, turn it to ROOM CON using the
instructions on previo us pag es .
Now, open the app and login using your login information. Now, when you're in the
Overview, press + button on the top right of the screen and follow the instructions
for your sm art device…

Android If you own a smart device with Android operating s ystem and have the thermostat ready in ROOM CON
mode and electrically powered, follow these steps:
1. After you pressed on + button on top right of the overview screen, you can now click on »FIND DEVICE«.
Now a list of all nearby Saswell thermostats, that are ready to pair, should be listed on the screen.
2. Select and press on the desired thermostat that you wish to pair. If you have more than one available, you
can distinguish them by their SSID name as every Saswell app thermostat has written its unique SSID
name on its housing and in app.
3. After selecting the thermostat, you have to select the gateway to connect your thermostat to. The gateway
is the name of SSID of your home wireless network. Select the one that is the closest to your Saswell
thermostat to ensure connection quality. If your home wireless router is too far away, use a Wi-Fi extender
or move the thermostat or router closer. It’s recommended to have at least two strength lines on you smart
device (this is also a way to check your wireless signal strength on the thermostats location).
4. When you’ve selected the desired wireless network, check the wifi information – wireless network name
and password. Add the password, if it’s not automatically added. When you’ve completed this step, press
“CONFIG” button to connect to the network.
5. The app should now show a popup “Connect device to network…” and tries to connect the thermostat to
your wireless network. If the process is successfully complete, the app shows “Device connect internet
success” and now you can press button “TRY NOW”. Press it.
6. If everything went ok, you should see your newly added thermostat under Overvi e w of all of your added
thermostats (if there are more), named like it’s SSID (see casing of the thermostat – “SSID:Thermostat-…”.
7. You’ve successfully added your new Saswell thermostat to the Saswell app.
iOS If you own a smart device with iOS operating system and have the thermostat ready in ROOM CON mode
and electrically powered and are currently connected to your home wireless network, follow these steps:

1. After you pressed on + button on top right of the overview screen, you can now go back to your phone and
go to Settings and WIFI settings.
2. Your phone should list all of the available wireless networks around your phone. Select and connect to the
network with SSID name which is the same as the one on the thermostats housing “SSID:Thermostat-…”.
3. Now after you’ve connected to the thermostats network, return to the Thermostat app. App should
automatically see, that you’re connected to the thermostats network and moved on to the next step. Now
you have to re-enter the password for your home network – the SSID of your home network should be
already filled in but the password should be empty. Enter the password to finish this step and press
“SEND”.
4. If the thermostat is successfully added, you should be able to see it under Overview windows near all of
your other added thermostat, if there are any. Each thermostat is named like it’s SSID, which is also visible
on the thermostats housing (“Thermostat-…”).
5. You’ve successfully added your new Saswell thermostat to the Saswell app.

Using the App – Renaming and deleting the thermostat
All of the newly added thermostats have generic and pre-set names. If you’d like to
organize the thermos t ats i n your hom e, you ca n easily rename each one by your
preferences or remov e one if you wi sh to re-add or just remove it from your account.
You can do this by pressing on the thermostats name for a few seconds and a popup
window should appear, asking for your choice to remove or rename the thermostat.
Renaming As we wish to rename the thermostat, we select the option
“Rename”. App now offers textbox to rename the th erm os t ats nam e . You can ent e r
anything you like, for example “Kitchen” or “Living room”. After you’re done, press OK.
Removing As we wish to delete the thermostat, we select the option “Remove”
and confirm the deletion with pressing “YES”.

Using the App – Setting heating schedule programs, temperature and status

After you’ve added a thermos t at to your app, you can se e it und er Overv i e w when
you login to the app. Under overview you can see a short status of all thermos t ats –
ECO (away) mode active or not, current room temperature, current set temperature
and if the thermostat is turned off.
If the thermostat is available for use (connected to your home network and visible in
overview) you can press on its name to go under thermostats settings.
Now you can 1) set the temporary temperature (“TARGET)” 2) see the current room
temperature (“CURRENT”), 3) completely turn off the thermostat (by sliding right
over the slide to power off) 4) turn on the ECO mode (“AW A Y”), 5) see the roo m
temperature history and heating history or 6) set heating schedule programs by
pressing the PROGRAM button.
Turning on the ECO mode or »AWAY« mode, will turn off all of your set heating
modes until turned off and will try to keep heating only up to 16°C. This mode is
useful when youre away for a shorter time and would like to keep a lower room
temperature in your home. To turn thi s m ode on or off, slide the switch in the top
right corner (4).

This opens a new menu, which you can see on the left side. The heating
schedule program can be turned on or off by sliding on top right button (1).
Now you’re setting the heating schedule for (2) selected day or days, that you can
mark on point 3. When you’ve selected your desired days to set the program, you
can set up to 6 daily programs (4) Sele c t the desi r ed daily program and by sliding
up or down set the desired starting hour for the program (5). Now set the desired
set temperature by pressing up or down arrows (6). When you’ve set all of the
heating programs, press SUBMIT (7) to save all of your changes.
If you wish to set a temporary set temperature, return to t he previ ous wi nd o w
by pressing the back arrow on the top left corner and change the desired set
temperature (see previ o us pag e, point 1) by pressing on the arrows up and do w n.
The temperature will stay on until the next heating schedule program occurs. If
the heating schedule programs are disabled (turned off by sliding the point 1 on
the picture on the left) you’ll be setting permanent set temperature, which will
stay on until re enabling the heating schedule pr og ram s.
