1. General Information
Carefully read these operating instructions through as they contain important information.
Should you pass the wine cooler to a third party, this operating instructions should be
handed over.
As soon as you have unpacked the appliance check whether everything is in a faultless condition. Should anything be damaged, do not connect the appliance as such, but inform your dealer.
Dispose of the packing material according to the local regulations.
It is advisable to keep the operating instructions in a place where you have them always
ready to hand.
The wine cooler was manufactured primarily for cooling wine. It is also possible to cool other drinks, such as water, fruit juices, soft drinks, colas, milk, etc. in closed containers, bottles or cans. Improper use can cause damages and lead to the loss of warranty.
In case of fault and/or malfunction, pull the plug out of the socket and inform your dealer. Repairs must be carried out only by qualified specialists.
The manufacturer/dealer cannot be made responsible for damages which arise through not observing these operating instructions.

2. Transport, installation and safety instructions
1. Please be careful during the transportation or moving of the wine cooler.
2. To prevent possible compressor damage, transport the appliance in upright position. If the wine cooler were not upright transported, you have to wait 3 hours, before you connect it to electricity mains.
3. There is a wooden pallet under cooler to transport safely. Remove this pallet and place the cabinet in upright position (in a level position) by means of the adjustable screws at the base. To unscrew the wooden pallet, tilt the cabinet approximately 45° with the horizontal and unscrew with a suitable screw driver.
4. Remove the wrapping material and draw off slowly the plastic protection film.
5. Clean the outside of the wine cooler with a damp cloth and the grids with a soft, damp, warm cloth and a commercial cleaning detergent. Wipe off and dry everything carefully. Do not use aggressive detergents, steel wool or abrasive sponges. The wine cooler may not be hosed down with water.
6. Place the wine cooler on a stable, dry and level surface. You can do this by using adjustable feet at the bottom and by a water level gauge.
7. Keep the wine cooler out of direct sun or heat sources to ensure correct temperatures can be achieved. Please note that optimal appliance performance is obtained at an ambient temperature between +16°C and + 35°C.
8. The installation site should be dry and temperature-controlled and allow unhindered exchange of air. Always leave 15 cm space on all sides of the wine cooler. Also make sure, that there is enough space for a proper use of the cooler.·
9. Before connecting the appliance, make sure that the tension indicated on the indentification plate agrees with the tension of your electricty mains. A safe function is only possible if the appliance is grounded according to the valid safety regulations and standards.
10. Do not use „double adapters“ or similar devices which allow numbers of electrical appliances to be operated together from electrical outlet.
11. The cable must not come into contact with water.
12. Regularly check the cable. If it is damaged, it must exchanged by a qualified specialist.
13. Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
14. Plug the power plug into the suitable outlet.
15. Do not cover ventilation holes which are on the top of the cooler.
16. Never put anything on the cooler.
17. Never put explosive and flammable things inside the cooler.
3. Operating
After cleaning the wine cooler, insert the plug into the socket and make sure that the plug is accessible and can be disconnected from the power supply in an emergency. Before cleaning / repair the plug has to be pulled out.
At the top of the front panel is the control panel. In the center of it there is the analog temperature indicator and on the left is the switch of the indicator light and on the right the control light.
In the interior of the bottle cooler you find above a thermostat with a level specified from 0 to 7. If you turn the control knob to 0 the cooler is off, but remains working.
From level 1 to 7 you can set the desired temperature. The level 7 is the lowest temperature.

Observe at the temperature setting the following points:
1) The ambient temperature
2) Whether the door is opened often or only occasionally
3) How many drinks are stored in the wine cooler and how they are positioned there.
The control light is always on, when the cooler is connected to the power supply .
To turn off the cooler completely, you need to unplug the plug from the socket.
4. Changing of the bulb in the interior
On top in the interior of the cooler there is a bulb, which is protected by a plastic cover.
Before replacing this bulb unplug the power cord from the outlet.
Unscrew the plastic cover and replace the bulb. Then screw on the plastic cover again.
5. Cleaning
Before cleaning the wine cooler must be switched off, by pulling the plug from the plug socket.
For hygenic and functional reasons the wine cooler should be cleaned regularly (see 2/5).
On this occasion also clean the condenser.
Spills should always be wiped up immediately.
During the cleaning of the condenser proceed as follows: Brush the dust off, deposited at
the front surface of the condenser, and remove it with the vacuum cleaner.
Note: If the wine cooler is not used for a longer time, pull the plug from the plug socket, clean the appliance and leave the door a little bit open.
6. Trobleshooting
a) If the wine cooler does not function.
Check, whether the connection of the power supply plug is correct with the plug socket. If the cable is damaged, it must be exchanged by a qualifield specialist.
b) If the desired interior temperature is not reached:
Check, whether the temperature is correctly adjusted? Is the wine cooler in the defrosting stage or thereafter? Is the evaporator covered with ice? Is the condenser blocked (e.g. by dust)? Is the condenser too little ventilated? Does the wine cooler stand near to a heat source (furnace etc.)? Can the door be correctly closed?
d) If the wine cooler makes noises:
Check, whether the cooler has loose screws or nuts within. Does the cooler stand in balance?
Despite all these controls the appliance exhibits further problems, inform your dealer.

8. Waste Disposal
