1. General Information
Carefully read these operating instructions through as they contain important information for the safe and correct use of the minibar.
It is advisable to keep the operating instructions in a place where you have them always ready to hand.
Should you pass the appliance to a third party, these operating instructions must be handed over.
As soon as you have unpacked the minibar, check whether everything is in a faultless condition. Should anything be damaged, do not connect the appliance as such, but inform your dealer.
Dispose the packing material according to the local regulations. All the packaging items (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene foam, nails, etc.) must not be left within reach of children, in that they are potential sources of danger.
Before connecting the minibar, make sure that the tension indicated on the identification plate agrees with the tension on your electricity mains.
The minibar must only be used for the intended purpose, like storage of products, which have to be cooled, like beverages. Improper use can cause damages and lead to the loss of the warranty.
In case of fault and/or malfunction, pull the power plug from the socket and inform your dealer. He will carry out the repair with original spare parts.
The manufacturer/dealer cannot be made responsible for damages which arise through not observing these operating instructions. Apart from this, if these instructions are not observed, the safety of the minibar is no longer guaranteed.
2. Transportation, Placement and Safety Notes
Care required during transportation or movement of the unit.
To prevent possible compressor damage, the minibar should not be tilted at an angle greater than 45 degrees. If the minibar has been tilted greater than 45 degrees, put it upright for at least 1 hour before re-starting.
Carefully remove packaging and place the minibar on a stable and level surface.
Keep the minibar out of direct sun or other heat sources to ensure correct temperatures
can be achieved.
The space between the minibar and a wall should be at least 5 cm.and 3 cm laterally.
The appliance should never be placed where rain or water could impinge on it. Very high
humidity may also affect the performance.
The mini-bar should be connected to a properly installed socket. Do not use “double
adapters” or similar devices which allow numbers of electrical appliances to be operated together from electrical outlet.
The outlet must be easily accessible, so that the plug can easily be removed in case of an emergency.
Before each cleaning or repair pull the power plug out of the socket.
Do not touch the appliance, the cable and the plug with wet or moist hands.
When you pull the plug from the socket, always pull at the plug and never at the cable.
