Installation Guide

Avoid installing the unit in a high humidity and dusty area

  • High humidity environments will cause the unit to rost.
  • Heavy dust collected on the condenser fins are one of the main reasons for decrease in performance of failure. please clean the condenser finns at least once a month with a dusting brush that comes with the unit.
  • Before cleaning the condenser unit, please remove the top part of the air duct

Do not install the unit under a shelf or place where a foreign object could fall into condensing unit area.

• The unit could be significantly damaged if a foreign object falls into cooling unit area which is located on the top of the unit.

Select a location away from other heat and moisture generating equipment.

• High ambient temperatures causes the compressor to work harder, which results in higher energy bill or possible failure.

Keep the inside of the unit clean before operation.

Maintenance Guide

Do not put too much warm product in at same time.

  • Too much warm product introduced might cause longer chiling time due to worsening of chiling air circulation.
  • Do not overload.
  • Maintain an appropriate space between stored product when arranging. (It might result in inappropriate chiling air circulation to place stored product on the bottom, therefore place stored items on shelves.)

Place stored items in two to three hours after starting the unit.

• Insert and arrange stored item with the refrigerator cooled.

• If possible, introduce stored items over a period of time to reduce thermal loading.

Take caution when putting warming /hot items in the unit.

•Warm / hot might affect neighboring items.

Page 19

Maintenance Guide

Do not frequently open the door.

• Frequent door openings might cause lowering of cooling effect since cool air gose out and warm air is introduced.

• Do not let water accumulate inside of the unit. Wipe the inside of the unit with dry cloth periodically.

Door gasket cleaning

• Dust and particles shoten the life span of gasket. Please clean it periodically.

Page 20

Maintenance Guide

Cleaning the Door Hinges & Casters

  • Please clean the door hinges and casters periodically
  • Clean the outsid of the door hinge/caster with a soft brush or vacuum with a brush attachment

Cleaning the condenser

  • Periodically crook to see it the condenser filter is clogged.
  • It can be cleaned with warm water and mild soap. If the condenser fins are clogged they should be cleaned by vaccuuming or brush

Do not use the following when cleaning

  • Never use steel wool, strong acids, or abrasive cleaners to clean cabinet interior or exterior.
  • Acidic products must be stored in sealed containers to prevent acid damage to the interior of the unit and the evaporator coil.

Page 21

Trouble Shooting

Please check the following before requesting for service.

Symptom Remedy
Unit fails to start.
  • a. Check if electrical cord has been disconnected.
  • b. Check to see if power is available.
  • c. Check and make sure the unit is turned on.
Cabinet does not
maintain proper
temperature.
  • a. Check door gasket for proper seal,
  • b. Control setting too high, readjust,
  • c. Avoid installing the unit next to heat generating equipment and direct sun light,
  • d. Avoid storing hot items.
  • e. Make sure the doors are fully closed,
  • f. Perhaps a large quantity of stored product was recently added or the doors was kept open for a long period of time
Unit is noisy
  • a. Check for loose parts or mounting. (by authorized personnel)
  • b. Check for tubing rattle.
  • c. Check for bent fan blade causing vibration.
  • d. Check for worn fan motor bearings.
Condensation
on the exterior
surface.
  • a. Condensation on the exterior surface of the unit is perfectly normal during periods of high humidity,
  • b. Check door alignment and gaskets for proper seal,
Sound of water dripping. a. This is sound of refrigerant circulation during the compressor rest periods and it is normal.
Exterior walls are warm. a. Do not be alarmed, We have placed a heater around the exterior walls and door frames to minimize condensation.
Condensation
on the
interior.
  • a. Usually interior condensation is caused when the door is kept open
    for a long time.
  • To alleviate the condition, do not leave the doors open for a long
    period of time
