Operating Tips and Troubleshooting Hints
– The VCR and TV modes are preprogrammed with Sanyo codes.
– To operate each product (VCR, TV, Cable Box, or Satellite Receiver), you
must first press the proper mode key (VCR, TV, CABLE, or SAT/AUX).
– The SAT/AUX mode can be programmed to operate a Satellite Receiver or
another VCR, TV, or Cable Box.
– Some manu fa c t u re rs use diffe r ent types of remote controls. If your bra n d
has seve ral codes listed, p rogram the unit with diffe rent codes until you fi n d
the correct one. Larger nu m b e rs may rep res ent newer models.
– Th e re may be V C R s , T V s , C a ble Conve rter Boxe s , and Satellite Receive rs that
this remote control cannot operat e. Some models may operate only part i a l ly.
– Code nu m b e r s will remain in memory for five minutes as you replace bat t e r i e s .
– Remove batteries from the remote control if it will not be used for a month
or more. Weak batteries may leak, causing damage to the remote control.
– This remote control uses an inv i s i ble (infra r ed) light beam to operate the
equipment. Objects between the equipment and the remote control can bl o c k
this light beam. Th e re fo re, the remote control must be pointed dire c t ly at the
equipment you want to operat e.
– This remote control cannot add features to your equipment. They must
have been originally provided by your equipment’s manufacturer.
– If the remote control fails to operate any of your equipment replace the
batteries. Be sure batteries are installed correctly.

FOR 90 DAYS from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation
will replace any defective unit without charge to the original purchaser.
To ensure proper warranty exchange, keep the original sales receipt for
evidence of purchase. Return the defective remote control along with the
receipt to the retailer. The defective remote control will be exchanged for the
same model, or a replacement model of equal or greater value, if necessary.
Replacement model will be contingent on availability and at the sole
discretion of Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER

OBLIGATIONS
For 90 days from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation
warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal use and conditions. Should replacement be necessary under
this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction
during the first 90 days from date of original purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing
Corporation will provide a new remote control via exchange at the retailer at
no charge.
This warranty expresses specific contractual rights; retail purchasers may
have additional statutory rights which vary from state to state.
