	PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE CONTROL

1. Find your equipments’ brand codes in the charts.

Note: The most common code for each brand is listed first.

2. Press and hold the VCR, TV, or AUX mode key while entering the three-digit code number. The mode key will flash 5 times if the code was accepted. The VCR and TV modes will accept only each mode’s specific code type. If you enter an invalid code, the mode key will light, but it will not flash, repeat Step 2. The AUX mode will accept all code types.

3. Perform Steps 1 and 2 for each piece of equipment you have. After entering a code number check the Power and Channel operation. If these functions operate properly, programming is complete. If not, try reprogramming the remote control using another code, if available.

After programming is confirmed, enter your codes in the spaces provided in the manual and on the back of the remote control.

PROGRAMANDO EL CONTROL REMOTO

1. Localice los códigos de la marca de sus equipos en las cartas.

Nota : Los códigos comunes para cada marca son los primeramente listados.

2. Presione y mantenga la tecla de VCR, TV, o AUX mientras accesa el código de tres dígitos. La tecla de modo destellará 5 veces, sí el código fue aceptado. Los modos de VCR y TV aceptarán solamente cada tipo de código especifico. Sí Ud. acceso un código equivocado, la tecla de modo se iluminará, pero no destellará, repita el paso 2. La tecla del modo de AUX aceptará todo los tipos de códigos.

3. Repita el paso 2 por cada pieza de equipo que Ud. tenga. Después de dar acceso a un número de código, confirme el funcionamiento con las Encendido (Power) y cambio de canales (Channel). Sí estas funciones operan adecuadamente, la programación esta terminada. Si no es así, trate reprogramando otro código, sí esta disponible.

Después de que la programación haya sido confirmada, anote el sus códigos en los espacios designados en el manual y en la parte posterior del control remoto.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY ON SANYO PRODUCTS PURCHASED AND USED IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND PUERTO RICO, HOWEVER, EXCLUDING ITS OTHER TERRITORIES AND PROTECTORATES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER, AND DOES NOT APPLY TO PRODUCTS USED FOR INDUSTRIAL OR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

FOR 90 DAYS from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation will replace any defective unit without charge to the original purchaser.

To ensure proper warranty exchange, keep the original sales receipt for evidence of purchase. Return the defective remote control along with the receipt to the retailer. The defective remote control will be exchanged for the same model, or a replacement model of equal or greater value, if necessary. Replacement model will be contingent on availability and at the sole discretion of Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation.

OBLIGATIONS

For 90 days from the date of purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation warrants this product to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and conditions. Should replacement be necessary under this warranty for any reason due to manufacturing defect or malfunction during the first 90 days from date of original purchase, Sanyo Manufacturing Corporation will provide a new remote control via exchange at the retailer at no charge.

This warranty expresses specific contractual rights; retail purchasers may have additional statutory rights which vary from state to state.

Operating Tips and Troubleshooting Hints

–To operate each piece of equipment you must first program the remote control; then press the proper mode key to select an operating mode. The VCR and TVmodes are preprogrammed with Sanyo codes.

–The AUX mode can be programmed to operate a DVD player, a Cable Box or another VCR or TV.

–If your brand of equipment has several codes listed, try different codes until you find the correct one. The most common code number is listed first.

–There may be VCRs, TVs, DVDs, and Cable Converter Boxes that this remote control cannot operate. Some models may operate only partially.

–Code numbers will remain in memory for five minutes as you replace batteries.

–Weak batteries can leak and damage the remote control.

–Aim the remote control directly at the equipment you want to operate.

–This remote control cannot add features to your equipment. They must have been originally provided by your equipment’s manufacturer.

–If the remote control fails to operate any of your equipment replace the batteries. Be sure batteries are installed correctly.

–Use Channel ▲ / ▼ keys to adjust tracking –/+ on Sanyo and Fisher VCRs.
