PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE
1.Find your equipment’s brand codes in the charts on pages 5 and 6. After programming is confirmed, enter codes in spaces provided on back of remote and on page 3.
2.Press and hold the VCR, TV or CABLE key while entering the two-digit code number. The mode key will flash 5 times.
3.Repeat Step 2 for each piece of equipment you have (VCR, TV, and/or CableConverterBox).
If you enter an incorrect code number, repeat Step 2.
After entering a code number check the Power and Channel operation. If these functions operate properly, programming is complete. If not, reprogram using another code if available.
OPERATING KEYS LOCATIONS
Keys on this remote control operate functions similar to those on your original remote controls. For specific key operation, such as Recall or Display, refer to the original owner’s manuals for your equipment.

PROGRAMANDO EL CONTROL REMOTO
1.Localice los códigos de la marca de sus equipos en las cartas de las páginas 5 y 6. Después de la programación del control remoto este confirmada. Escriba los códigos en los espacios localizados en la parte posterior del control remoto, y en la página 3.
2.Presione y mantenga así la tecla de VCR, TV o Cable, mientras accesa el número del código de dos dígitos. El modo destellará cinco veces.
3.Repita el paso 2 para cada pieza de equipo que Ud. tenga (VCR,TV, y/o Decodificador de
Cable).
Sí Ud. acceso un número de código incorrecto, repita el Paso 2.
Después de accesar un número de código, confirme la operación de Encendido (Power) y Canales (Channels). Sí estas funciones operan adecuadamente, la programación esta terminada. Sí no, reprograme nuevamente, usando otro código disponible.

Operating Tips and Troubleshooting Hints
–To operate your equipment, you must first press the appropriate mode key.
–Some manufacturers use different types of remote controls. If your brand lists several codes, try the code listed first. If necessary, reprogram with each number until you find the correct code.
–There may be VCRs, TVs, and Cable Boxes that this remote cannot operate and some models may operate only partially.
–The remote control may need to be repro grammed after replacing batteries if the replacement process takes longer than 5 minutes.
–Remove the bat t e ries if the remote will not be used for a month or more. Weak batteries may leak, causing damage to the remote control.
–This remote control uses an invisible (infrared) light beam to operate the equipment. Objects between the VCR, TV or Cable Converter Box and the remote can block this light beam. Therefore, the remote control must be pointed directly at the front of the VCR, TV or Cable Converter Box.
–This remote control cannot add features to your equipment. They must have been originally provided by your manufacturer.
–If the remote fails to operate any of your equipment replace the batteries. Be sure they are installed correctly.

–Para operar su equipo, Ud. debe presionar primeramente la tecla adecuada al modo de operación.
–Algunos fabricantes usan diferentes tipos de controles remoto. Sí la marca de su equipo tiene varios códigos listados. Trate con el primer código. Sí es necesario programe la unidad con cada uno de los números, hasta que Ud. encuentre el código correcto.
–Puede haber VCR’s, TV’s, y Decodificadores de Cable que este control remoto no pueda operar, u operar parcialmente.
–El control remoto requiere de ser reprogramado después de cambiar las baterías. Sí el proceso de cambio dura más de 5 minutos.
–Quite las baterías del control remoto, si este no va a ser usado por más de un mes. Baterías débiles pueden derramarse, causando daños al control remoto.
–Este control remoto usa un haz de luz invisible (haz infrarrojo) para operar el equipo. Objetos entre la VCR, TV, o Decodificador de Cable, y el control remoto pueden bloquear el haz de luz. Por lo tanto el control remoto debe de ser apuntado directamente a la VCR, TV, o Decodificador de Cable.
–Este control remoto no puede agregar funciones a su equipo. Estas deben ser provistas originalmente por el fabricante de su equipo.
–Sí el control remoto no falla al operar cualquier equipo, reemplace las baterías. Asegurándose que las baterías este correctamente colocadas.
Special Operating Conditions
–The Caption, Menu, and Reset keys will operate only Sanyo televisions. This is true even when you program the remote to operate another brand of TV or when you select the VCR or Cable mode.
–The Display, Sleep, Vol +, Vol–, Mute, and Recall keys operate TV functions regardless of the mode selected.
–The Video key has no function in the Cable mode.
–The Recall key has no function in the VCR and Cable modes.
–Refer to your original owner’s manuals for specific features operations.

Condiciones Especiales de Operación
–Las teclas de Subtítulos (Caption), Menú (Menu), y Reajuste (Reset), operarán solamente con televisores Sanyo. Esto es válido aun cuando Ud. programe un televisor de otra
marca o cuando Ud. seleccione, VCR Decodificador de Cable.
–Las teclas de Desplegado (Display), Cronometro para Dormir (Sleep),Volumen + (Vol +), Volumen – (Vol –), Enmudecimiento (Mute), y Llamado (Recall), operarán en la TV, aun dependiendo del modo que haya sido selecionado.
–La tecla de Vídeo no funciona en el modo de Cable.
–La llave de Recordación tiene no función en el VCR y modos de Cable.
–Refiera al manual del propietario por funciones especificas de su equipo.

Step 1. Remove the battery cover by pressing the tab and tilting cover upward.
Step 2. Install two AA batteries shown. Be sure to match the + / – signs on the batteries with the + / – marks inside the case.
Note: Do Not mix new and used
or mix different types of batteries together.
