large venues. However, compared to a typical
high-resolution color monitor, it is much easier to
install, weighs less, and is smaller in size, while
still producing exceptional picture quality.

PLUG-AND-PLAY CONVENIENCE
Operating the PLC-9000NA is as simple as making the
connections, turning the various connective inputs on, and
beginning the presentation. Its auto lock frequency
synchronization allows it to accept most SXGA and electronic
workstation (EWS) frequencies. The Auto Set feature allows the
user to automatically set the fine synchronization, total dot
adjustment, and positioning.
DIGITAL REALIZED
INTERPOLATION
TECHNOLOGY (DRIT)
This revolutionary, proprietary
technology digitally and mathematically
interpolates an image's pixels, then
reconstructs the image by either
compressing or expanding it. The
principal result of DRIT is the elegant
compression of a virtually true and
natural SXGA or EWS image. DRIT is,
by far, the most effective compression
method available.
Conversely, DRIT also performs
digital expansion, allowing a VGA or
SVGA image to be expanded to a
visually accurate XGA image.

has another image manipulation
capability: digital manipulation
panning. This allows the viewing of
noncompressed SXGA or EWS images
by manipulating the image -- sideto-side or top-to-bottom -- on the
viewing screen.

BRIGHTEST LCD PROJECTOR
The PLC-9000NA offers an
incomparable 2100 ANSI lumens ---- the
brightest LCD projector available in its class.
With its twin-stacking capability (one model
on top of another), it can project a
combined total of nearly 4200 ANSI lumens.
Not only is it bright, but it also
boasts one of the best uniformity rates in the
industry ----greater than 85%. Brightness and
picture clarity aren’t limited to the center of
the screen, but are spread evenly across the
entire image area.
THE BRIGHTEST,MOST ADVANCED,MOST VERSATILE,
AND MOST USER-FRIENDLY TRUE-XGA LCD
P
ROJECTOR IN ITS CLASS
When twin stacked, the
power lens shift (10˚ up
or down) is the easiest
way to align images and
provides virtually no
geometric distortion.

POLARIZED BEAM
SPLITTER (PBS)
OPTICAL SYSTEM
SANYO’S revolutionary Polarized
Beam Splitter optical system helps
assure a high uniformity rate and a
beam twice as bright as conventional
projectors. PBS combines all of the Swave light that the PLC-9000NA’s lamp
emits with the P-wave light. The result is
a super-bright image, featuring
practically the same brightness from
side-to-side and top-to-bottom.
MOST VERSATILE/EASIEST
INTERFACE
The PLC-9000NA offers the easiest interfacing
capability. One reason why is the industry's first detachable
cartridge-type adapter for various color Workstation
connections. Making 13W3, DSUB15, and BNC (RGBHV) input
connections is a snap.
The PLC-9000NA is one of the first LCD projectors
to incorporate a USB input, which enhances the unit's
communication speed. Additionally, dual computer inputs, dual
mouse control ports, component video inputs (Y/Video, C/R-Y,
and B-Y) for DVD, SVHS inputs, as well as other video inputs,
help make it the most versatile LCD projector in the market.
LARGER IMAGE IN
SMALLER AREA
The PLC-9000NA may also be used
in a variety of applications. Its 1:1.6
zoom ratio provides a larger image in a
shorter throw distance than most
comparable projectors. An image of 20"
(diagonal) can be projected from a
distance of just 3.3 feet from the screen.
At the maximum throw distance of 73.2
feet, a 600" (diagonal) image can be
displayed.
In addition to its standard lens
with zoom capabilities (100-diagonalinch image from 11.8’ to 19), the unit
also has available the following
optional lenses: short range with fixed
focal length (100-diagonal-inch image
at 7.9’), midrange with zoom
capabilities (100-diagonal-inch image
from 23’ to 29.9’), and long-range with
fixed focal length (100-diagonal-inch
image at 45.9’).

Besides large venues, the PLC-9000NA is also one of
the best LCD projectors for workstation environments --
medical, education, training, CADCAM,
architectural, automotive, aerospace, or any other
drawing intense discipline. It is compatible with
most of the leading color workstation units -- HP,
SUN, IBM, and Silicon Graphics.
