REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
Disconnect the power cord’s plug from the electrical outlet.
All wiring should be returned to the original position after work is completed.
First ha~e ready many the new FIXERS (614 129 4971) for replacement.
Arrange the lead wires so that they are not near the heat sink.

SERVICE MODE
‘o enter the key service mode, first simultaneously press the SOURCE and SURROUND MODE buttons. This accesses the service node entry state. As the service mode entry state is discontinued after 1 second elapses, the unit will enter a service mode only if the lext key is pressed within 1 second.
1. Checking the key input signal connections
To enter this mode, press MASTER VOL UP button during the service mode entry state.
When the unit enters this mode, 3 CENTER MODE LEDs and all of the VOLUME LEDs light.
In this mode, each time one of the keys listed below is pressed, only the LED corresponding to a pressed key lights.
To release this mode, press the POWER button on the unit or remote control.

Checking the connection of the connectors
To
enter the port connection service mode, connect the 14.7 kohms resistor to the pin 38 and ground to earth, then’ restart. The NORMAL and WIDE LEDs light. If failed, the indications listed below are displayed on the VOLUME LEDs section. If the pott connection service mode is OK (all of the VOLUME LEDS lights), the unit enters the key service mode by pressing the POWER button on the remote control. The 14.7 kohms resistor must be disconnected until pressing the POWER button on the remote control. To release this mode; turn the power off.

The indication “A” in the DIODE section means that the output pori side is the anode side. The indication “D” in the RESISTOR section, means that the pull down resistor is used.

As the most lower LED of the VOLUME LEDs is assigned to bit O,the next lower LED is assigned to bit 1, the third lower LED is.<ssigned to bit 2 and the fourth lower LED is assigned to bit 3, the corresponding numeral is displayed.
