By PLUG & PLAY, when the TV set is powered on for the first time, it will automatically search and preset all the receivable TV channels.

1 Plug the power cord, connect the antenna, and press the MAINS ON/OFF button on the control
panel, the TV set will search and store of all available TV channels automatically.

2 After Auto-Tuning in the PLUG & PLAY mode was finished, press MENU button to return to the
normal TV mode.

Plug & Play/General Operation
If no TV station channels are found, the TV set will show the message below. Check if the antenna
is connected properly.
After disconnecting the main power and connecting the antenna properly, turn on the TV set again. The TV set will search of all available TV channels automatically again.

Note:
When Remote Control doesn’t work in normal or stable condition, or it can’t control operation of the TV set, replace the batteries.
Battery Installation of the Remote Control Transmitter
1. Open the battery cover.
2. Install two “AA” 1.5 volt batteries so that the “+” and “-” marks on the batteries match the “+” and “-”
marks inside the unit.
3. Close the battery cover.

General Operation
Press the Power ON/OFF button to turn on or off the TV set.

Direct Programme Selector
For direct access to select
programmes using (0~9) NUMERIC button.
To select programmes position more
than 9, press DIGIT button, and then insert programme position number one by one. (Example programme position 17, press digit, press 0, press 1, press 7.)

Auto Shut Off Function
This TV set changes to the standby mode within 10 minutes after all broadcasts have ended.
To select next and previous pro­gramme position and also operates as up and down cursor.
Programme Up and Down
Volume Control
To increase and decrease Volume Level, press VOLUME + or - buttons.

Recall/Colour System
To display the on screen indication, press RECALL/COLOUR SYSTEM button. This button also used to select colour sys­tem mode, if the poor quality picture is being received. By pressing the RECALL/COLOUR SYS- TEM button repeatedly, the colour system mode will changed as follow;
Sound Mute
To mute the TV’s sound, press MUTE but- ton, and to switch the sound back on, press MUTE button again, or press VOL- UME + or -.
Alternate
Press the ALTERNATE button, and the programme position will alternately select the previous position and the present position.
Woofer/Bass Expander

Press the Bass Expander/Woofer but­ton to switch this function ON or OFF.
Surround
Press the SURROUND button to switch this function on SURROUND : 1, SUR­ROUND : 2 or SURROUND : OFF posi­tion.

Picture Mode
Select Picture Mode to suit picture type you are watching, by pressing PICTURE MODE button. Each time PICTURE MODE button is pressed, the picture setting changes as follow; PERSONAL, DYNAMIC, NATURAL, ECO, GAME.
Sound Mode
Select Sound Mode to suit sound type you are listening, by pressing SOUND MODE button. Each time SOUND MODE button is pressed, the picture setting changes as follow; PERSONAL, MUSIC, TALK, NORMAL.

The Sound Menu functions are making possible to obtain the best sound setting for your environ­ment. VOLUME : Volume adjustment function (0 ~ 63). BALANCE : Left/Right speaker volume balance

The Picture Menu functions are making possible to obtain the best picture setting for your environ­ment. BRIGHTNESS : brightness adjustment function (0 ~ 63). CONTRAST : Contrast adjustment function (0 ~ 63). COLOUR : Colour adjustment function (0 ~ 63). SHARPNESS : Sharpness adjustment function (0 ~ 63). TINT : Colour phase if NTSC equipment signal is
detected (-32 ~ 0 ~ 31).
SKIN TONE :
The Skin Tone correction locally changes the hue of colours that match skin tones to the correct hue (ON, OFF).
PICTURE PRESET :
Enable to select the suitable picture adjustment (PERSONAL, DYNAMIC, NATURAL, ECO, GAME), or also possible to select directly by pressing PICTURE MODE button (see page. 5).

The Off Timer will switch the TV into Standby mode when the selected time has elapsed.

The off-timer will increase or decrease in 5 minutes steps when VOLUME +/- button is pressed. The maximum time is 120 minutes (2 hours).
To cancel the OFF TIMER, select OFF position by pressing the VOLUME +/- button.

To check the remaining time whilst the TV is
operating, press the RECALL/COLOUR SYSTEM button.

The ON TIMER will switch-on from the standby mode or change programme position when the selected time has elapsed.

When ON-TIMER has been actived and the TV still in
TV mode, stand-by and power indicator changes to yel­low. When TV in the stand-by mode and ON-TIMER is actived, stand-by and power indicator changes to orange.
The desired time period also could be entered by pressing VOLUME +/- button. The on-timer will increase or decrease in 10 minutes steps when VOLUME +/- button is pressed. The maximum time is 24 hours.

Child Lock
This function is used to prevent small children from operating the TV with the front buttons of the TV set.

Menu display. Then press PROGRAMME UP/DOWN to select CHILD LOCK. When the
CHILD LOCK is selected, VOLUME +/ - but­tons on the Front control can not be used. Set this function ON or OFF position by pressing VOLUME +/- button on the remote control.

To cancel the ON TIMER, set to 00:00 position
by pressing the NUMERIC button or VOLUME +/- button.
If the TV is already switched on when the
time set for the ON TIMER has been reached, only the programme position will be changed to the set programme position.

Preset Menu
The preset Menu can be used to tune new chan­nels, to re-order channels and their programme position, and to make fine adjustments to the tuning.
There are three ways to tune in the new channels: AUTO : Searches for all channels and stores
them automatically. SEMI : Manual search to add channels. DIRECT FREQUENCY SETTING: Simply by
input number of frequency directly.

With a text page selected which has sub pages, you may wish to read a known sub page number.

3 Press the button to return the normal TV
picture. Immediately when the entered sub-coded page is reached the page number will appear on the TV picture.

Teletext reception
If your aerial signal is poor, the teletext recep­tion may be poor.
1 Press the button in the teletext mode to
view the TV picture. When the page is updated the page number will appear over the normal TV picture.

updated page.
If the page has sub pages the number will
appear when the sub page is changed.
Up dated pages

Hotel Mode
The feature that need by a Hotel Management. To confine the TV that put in the hotel room, so that will not disturb to another room.

Reflections of signals from mountains or high buildings will cause multiple images, called "Ghosts". These abnormal conditions can be reduced to minimum by repositioning aerial or by installing a new one suited for your area.
"INTERFERENCE"
Interference may be caused by electrical appliances, car ignition systems, etc. This should normally be a temporary condition, but should this interference persist, contact your dealer.
