IMPORTANT: Do not remove the con trol sp indle cover un til i nstructed.
Accidenta lly tur ning the control spind le will change the tem peratur e
setting, wh ich is pre-callibrated from the factor y.
Remove the large plasti c mud guard from valve. DO NO T discard
plastic mud gua rd.
Insta ll the tub plu g into t he bottom o utlet. Le ave it unplu gged if
including a tub spout. For deta ils and diagra ms of different
showe r/tub sc hemes, see the Installation Options section.
IMPORTANT: DO NOT SOLDER DIRECT LY TO THE VALVE. THI S WILL
DAMAGE THE SERVICE/CHE CK STOPS AND THE TEMPE RAT URE
CONTRO L ELE MENT. USE TEFLON TAPE OR PLU MBER’S PIPE
COMPOUND TO SECURE ALL CONNECTIO NS TO THE VALVE.
Connect the HOT w ater supply to the left inlet of the valv e (RED) and
COLD supply to the right inlet of the valve (BLUE). See Diagram A.
Secure valve position in the wall usi ng min/max ad justment lim its. For
backse t measurements see Diagram B.
Connect the top outle t pipe to shower connec tions and bottom outlet
pipe to tub spout (de pending on the s hower/tub sch eme chosen).
Remove the plastic control
spin dle cover and i nstall the Temper ature
Lim iter with the “red mark” positioned e xactly at 12 o’c lock.
Rememb er to n ot tur n the control spindle while installing the
Temperature Limiter.
Re-in stall the large plastic mud guard back onto the valve and do not
remove it until trim arrives.
