a hard drive to o pe rate.

Use only the prov id ed A C ad apter or car adapte r. Use of other

Do not operat e th e Hy perdrive in w et o r mo is t environments an d do
not opera te t he H yp erDrive wit h we t ha nd s. I f water enters th e
HyperDrive, i mm ed ia tely remove t he b at te ri es and return the
HyperDrive to y ou r local dealer for in sp ec ti on . Do n ot use the unit

Battery Charging (via USB)

Without turni ng o n th e Hy pe rDrive, plug in t he U SB c ab le i nto the
USB socke t on t he H yp er Drive (as shown i n di ag ram) and connec t
the other end to yo ur c om puter or a compatib le U SB p ow er s ou rce.
When connecte d vi a US B, the HyperDrive w il l ch ar ge d at 5V,
500mA.

You will see t he f ol lo wi ng d is play screen w he n ba tt er y ch arging is
in progress.

Battery Charging (via AC power)

Without turni ng o n th e Hy pe rDrive, plug in t he A C ad ap te r to the
DC socket o n th e Hy pe rD rive (as shown in d ia gram). When
connected via D C, t he H yp er Drive will be cha rg ed a t 5V, 1A.

You will see the f ol lo wi ng d is play screen w he n ba tt er y ch arging is
in progress.

Turning on HyperDrive

Press the bu tto n fo r 1 se co nd , You will see the fol lo wi ng
startup scree n an d th en t he M ain Menu:

Auto Start HyperDrive

When insertin g an y ty pe of memory card o r mi cr od ri ve, the
Hyperdrive wi ll a ut o sw itch on.

Note:

If th e Hy per Dr ive w as t urn o n au tom at ica ll y by me mo ry ca rd
ins er tio n, r emo va l of th e me mor y ca rd wi ll a lso a ut oma ti cal ly t urn o ff
the H yp erD ri ve.

Turning off HyperDrive

From the Main Men u, p re ss t he b utton to turn off t he
HyperDrive.

From any sc re en , yo u can also press the bu tt on c on ti nuously for
5 s to turn off the H yp er Dr ive.

Ensure th at a ll m em ory cards are r em ov ed f rom
the Hyper Dr iv e, o therwise th e Hy pe rD rive will
not be able t o sh ut d ow n completel y an d wi ll

Formatting Hard Drive

The HyperDriv e ca n on ly o perat e wi th FAT 32 f or ma tt ed hard
drive.I f yo ur h ar d disk is bra nd n ew o r no t in FAT 32 f ormat,you w il l
need to follow th e st ep s be lo w to format the hard dr iv e.
