Questo apparecchio è stato ideato per la conservazione di alimenti congelati, per il congelamento di alimenti freschi, la fabbricazione di cubetti di ghiaccio e per la conservazione di alimenti
freschi. Ogni altro utilizzo sarebbe scor-retto.
L’installazione deve essere effettuata secondo le istruzioni di
questo manuale; una cattiva installazione potrebbe deteriorare
l’apparecchio.
Per i problemi eventuali di funzionamento dell’apparecchio, rivolgetevi sempre ed esclusivamente ai centri autorizzati di Servizio
Assistenza Clienti oppure a personale qualificato.
Per ogni operazione di manutenzione, staccate prima di tutto la
spina dell’apparecchio evitando di tirare il cavo di alimentazione.
Se questo frigorifero/congelatore ne sostituisce un altro, che abbia
un dispositivo di chiusura con nottolino, a molla, a serratura o altro,
non dimenticate di distruggere il dispositivo di chiusura o, meglio
ancora, di smontare la porta del vostro vecchio apparecchio per
evitare che qualcuno possa essere bloccato all’interno (dei bambini che giocano, degli animali, ecc).
Dopo aver disimballato l’apparecchio, assicuratevi che esso non
sia stato danneggiato. In questa eventualità, i deterioramenti
dovranno essere segnalati al rivenditore entro le 24h che seguono
la consegna. I materiali impiegati per l’imballaggio sono interamente riciclabili (scatolone, plastica a bolle di PE, EPS…). Tenere
questi materiali al di fuori della portata dei bambini.

Il circuito di refrigerazione dell’apparecchio racchiude dell’isobutano refrigerante, un gas naturale poco inquinante tuttavia
infiammabile. Durante il trasporto e l’installazione dell’apparecchio,
assicuratevi che nessuno dei componenti del circuito di refrigerazione non sia danneggiato. In caso di danno, lasciarlo lontano da
fiamme e da fonti di infiammazione ed aerare bene la stanza dove
esso si trova.
Per un funzionamento ottimale dell’apparecchio, installatelo lontano
da fonti di calore e assicuratevi che l’aria possa ben circolare
attorno (vedere Installazione dell’apparecchio).
Questo apparecchio non è concepito per essere utilizzato da persone (bambini compresi) le cui capacità fisiche, sensoriali o mentali
sono ridotte, o da persone non sufficientemente dotate d’esperienza o di conoscenze, tranne nel caso in cui esse abbiano potuto
beneficiare, grazie all’intermediazione di un soggetto responsabile
della loro sicurezza, di una sorveglianza o di un’istruzione preliminare inerente all’utilizzo dell’apparecchio stesso.
E’ consigliabile sorvegliare i bambini per assicurarsi che non giochino con l’apparecchio.

Installare l’apparecchio in un locale senza umidità e ben aerato, lontano dalle sorgenti di calore. Lasciare una distanza minima di 10 cm
fra l’estremità superiore dell’apparecchio e il mobile soprastante.
Se l’installazione non lo consente, lasciare 5 cm fra l’estremità
superiore della carrozzeria e altri mobili da cucina fissati al muro, e
una distanza di 2,5 cm da ogni lato dell’apparecchio.
Se l’apparecchio deve essere installato accanto ad un frigorifero o
un freezer, non avvicinare troppo i due apparecchio onde evitare la
formazione di condensa esternamente.
La classe climatica del apparecchio è indicata sulla rispettiva
targa segnaletica. Questa determina la fascia di temperature ambienti
per il quale l’impianto frigorifero è studiato, garantendo il corretto
funzionamento dell’apparecchio.

Caratteristiche della presa: 220-240V con presa di terra.
Evitare di utilizzare adattatori o prolunghe.
Evitare che il cavo venga a contatto con il compressore.
Evitare che il cavo rimanga impigliato sotto l’apparecchio.
L’installazione elettrica dell’apparecchio deve essere dotata di
collegamento alla terra. Per la vostra sicurezza, collegare l’apparecchio ad una presa di corrente dotata di collegamento alla terra efficace (conformemente alle vigenti norme di sicurezza dell’impianto
elettrico).
Il costruttore declina la propria responsabilità per i danni eventualmente provocati dalla mancanza di collegamento alla terra.

• Pulire l’interno dell’apparecchio con acqua tiepida miscelata a
bicarbonato. Sciacquare e asciugare accuratamente.
• Attendere 2 ore prima di accendere onde garantire la stabilizzazione dei lubrificanti del motocompressore.

Questo apparecchio non contiene, nel circuito refrigerante e nelle
materie isolanti, gas refrigeranti nocivi allo strato atmosferico
dell’ozono. Non deve essere scartato con i rifiuti urbani e le ferramenta onde evitare di danneggiare il circuito refrigerante posto dietro l’apparecchio. Contattare il municipio locale per informarsi sulla
raccolta di questo tipo di apparecchi.

Il materiale d’imballaggio di questo apparecchio è riciclabile.
Partecipa al riciclaggio e contribuisci alla tutela dell’ambiente gettando l’imballaggio negli appositi contenitori messi a disposizione
dal tuo comune.
Questo apparecchio contiene anche altri materiali riciclabili. Reca
quindi questo logo per indicare che gli apparecchi usurati non

È possibile cambiare il senso di apertura della porta:

• Svitare il perno del ganghero inferiore, quindi togliere la porta del
comparto frigorifero.
• Smontare il ganghero inferiore togliendo le 4 viti. Montare il ganghero dalla parte opposta.
• Svitare il ganghero centrale e togliere la porta del freezer.
• Togliere il ganghero inferiore e rimontarlo dalla parte opposta.
• Invertire le protezioni dei fori e le guide di plastica dei perni dei
gangheri posti nella parte alta delle 2 porte.
• Inserire e mantenere la porta del freezer nel perno, inserire il ganghero centrale nella parte inferiore della porta e avvitarlo.
• Inserire la porta del comparto frigorifero fra il ganghero centrale e
quello inferiore, quindi chiudere la porta.
• Ripristinare il perno del ganghero inferiore e avvitarlo saldamente.
• Se l’apparecchio è dotato di maniglia verticale, avere cura di spostare la stessa dalla parte opposta.

Montare le maniglie sulle porte posizionandole di fronte ai rispettivi fori quindi fissarle utilizzando le viti fornite come indicato dallo
schema sottostante.
Posizionate le maniglie, inserire le protezioni delle viti fornite nelle
apposite sedi.

Il termostato, posto nel frigorifero, regola la temperatura. Per regolarlo, occorre ruotare la rotella posta a destra della vaschetta. In
posizione 0, l’apparecchio è spento. Si consiglia di scegliere una
posizione media: 2 o 3.

• Non mettere nel frigorifero alimenti caldi o liquidi non tappati.
• MAI introdurre liquidi volatili, infiammabili o esplosivi come solventi, alcool, acetone o benzina. Rischio di esplosione.
• È opportuno avvolgere carni e pesci per evitare odori.
• Lasciare spazio sufficiente fra gli alimenti per consentire all’aria di
circolare. Anche al momento di riporre gli alimenti, evitare di porli a
contatto.
• Non fare entrare gli alimenti a contatto con la parete fredda del
fondo del freezer. I ripiani dispongono di apposito dispositivo di
arresto.
• La porta non deve essere lasciata aperta più di quanto necessario.
Questo comparto consente di conservare alimenti surgelati, congelare prodotti freschi e preparare cubetti di ghiaccio.
Non congelare quantità eccessive di alimenti insieme, più rapido si
congela, più l’alimento conserva le proprie qualità. Avere cura di
imballare bene gli alimenti prima di congelarli cosicché conserveranno tutto il sapore e non intaccheranno gli altri alimenti.
• La durata di conservazione degli alimenti surgelati o congelati
dipende dal tipo di alimenti. Riferirsi alle istruzioni riportate sulle
confezioni. Non mettere bottiglie o lattine nel comparto freezer.
Rischiano di scoppiare quando il liquido contenuto gela. Le bevande a elevato contenuto di carbonato rischiano altresì di scoppiare !
MAI conservare gassose, succhi di frutta, birra, vino, champagne,
ecc. nel comparto freezer.

Il simbolo accanto indica l’ubicazione della zona più fredda
del frigorifero, la cui temperatura è di + 4°C.
Per carni, pollame, pesci, salumi, pietanze pronte, insalate, preparati e dolci fatti con uova o panna, pasta fresca, pasta per torta salata, pizza, prodotti freschi e formaggi di latte crudo, verdure pronte
vendute in sacchetto di plastica e, generalmente, prodotti freschi la
cui data di conservazione sia associata alla temperatura di
+4°C.

L’utilizzatore deve fare scendere la temperatura del frigorifero regolando il termostato.

Il comparto freezer deve sempre essere sbrinato quando
lo strato di brina raggiunge uno spessore di 4mm circa. Comunque,
questo comparto deve essere sbrinato almeno 1 volta l’anno.
Per sbrinare, è possibile utilizzare un raschietto o altro utensile di
plastica, mai utilizzare strumenti metallici o apparecchi elettrici.

• Avvolgere gli alimenti congelati in un sacchetto per congelazione e mantenerli al fresco.

• Per accelerare il processo di sbrinamento, è possibile porre un
recipiente di acqua calda nel comparto e chiudere la porta.
• Terminato lo sbrinamento, pulire l’apparecchio.

• Pulire l’interno con acqua e bicarbonato utilizzando una spugna o
una salvietta, ciò eviterà il formarsi di cattivi odori.
• Non utilizzare solventi o detergenti abrasivi che rischiano di danneggiare l’interno dell’apparecchio. Non mettere gli accessori interni del lavastoviglie.
• Si consiglia di pulire con un panno una volta l’anno il retro dell’apparecchio poiché, se è sporco, il rendimento del frigorifero diminuisce e il consumo aumenta.

Alcuni rumori sono del tutto normali in un frigorifero:
• Il gas refrigerante può emettere un gorgoglio circolando nei circuiti.
• Il compressore può emettere un ronzio talvolta accentuato in accensione.
• I “crac” emessi dalle dilatazioni e dalle contrazioni dei materiali utilizzati

L’apparecchio non funziona.
Il frigorifero vibra o fa rumore Controlla che sia livellato. Regolare i piedi.
Il frigorifero è troppo/poco freddo
La lampadina del frigorifero non si accende
Il compressore non si riaccende dopo un cambio di temperatura È normale: il compressore si riaccende dopo un certo tempo.
C’è acqua per terra o sui ripiani
Controlla che la spina sia inserita, che il fusibile non sia bruciato o
il salvavita non sia scattato.
Controllare la posizione del termostato e regolarlo su una temperatura più adatta.
Controllare la lampadina e cambiarla se necessario. Se il problema persiste, controllare che l’apparecchio sia collegato.
Il foro che consente lo smaltimento dell’acqua di sbrinamento è
probabilmente otturato. Sturarlo utilizzando un ferro da maglia.

Disconnect your appliance prior to performing any maintenance

• Tilt the appliance slightly backwards and wedge it in this position.
•Unscrew the [pin from the lower hinge and then remove the door
from the refrigerator section.
•Take off the lower hinge by removing the 4 screws.
Fit it on the opposite side.
•Unscrew the middle hinge and remove the freezer door.
•Remove the upper hinge and fit it on the opposite side
•Swap over the hole covers and the plastic hinge pin guides on the
top of both doors.
•Fit and hold the freezer door on its hinge pin, insert the middle
hinge into the lower part of the door and screw it in place.
•Insert the refrigerator door between the middle hinge and the bottom hinge and then close it.
•Refit the lower hinge and screw it firmly in place.
•If your appliance is fitted with a vertical handle, remember to move
it to the opposite side.

• Do not put hot food or unsealed liquids into the refrigerator.
• NEVER introduce volatile, inflammable or explosive fluids such as
alcohol, acetone or petrol because of the risk of explosion.
• It is advisable to wrap meat and fish to avoid odours.
• Leave sufficient space between the foodstuffs to enable air to circulate correctly between them. Similarly, when storing them, avoid
putting food items in contact with each other.
• Do not place food items in contact with the cold wall at the back
of the refrigerator. The shelves have a stop to avoid this.
• The door should not be left open any longer than necessary.
This compartment enables you to preserve frozen food, freeze
fresh produce and to produce ice cubes.
Do not freeze too large an amount of food at one time; the faster the
food is frozen, the longer it preserves its qualities. Similarly, ensure
that your food items are well wrapped before freezing them so that
they retain all their flavour and do not spoil other items.
The preservation times for frozen and deep-frozen foods depends
on the type of food concerned. Please refer to the instructions on
the packaging. Do not place bottles or cans in the ice box. They may
split when their contents freeze. Highly carbonated drinks may even
explode! NEVER keep lemonade, fruit juice, beer, wine, champagne,
etc. in the freezer – ice box compartment.

Check that the plug is correctly connected, that the fuse hasn’t
blown or that the circuit-breaker has not jumped.
The refrigerator vibrates or is noisy. Check that it is level. Adjust the feet.
The refrigerator gets too cold or not cold enough.
Check the position of the thermostat and set it to a more suitable
temperature.
The refrigerator’s bulb does not light.
Check the bulb and replace it if necessary. If the problem persists,
check that your appliance is connected.
The compressor does not start after a change in the temperature.
This is normal; the compressor will restart after a certain time.
There is water on the floor or on the shelves.
The hole for draining away the defrosting water must be blocked.
Unblock it with a knitting needle.
