UNPACKING
Noise Cancelling Headphones
Thank you for purchasing your new Sandstrøm noise cancelling headphones.
Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

Headset
1. Tilt the top of the left earcup inwards to gain access to the battery compartment.
2. Lift the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one AAA alkaline battery (ECLR03) into the battery compartment. Follow the polarity marking on the battery compartment cover.
4. Close the battery compartment cover.
When you put on the headphones, observe the markings that identify the left (L) and right (R) earcups. Adjust the headband so it fits gently on the top of your head and the earcup cushions fit comfortably around your ears.
To listen to music or movies, insert the audio cable into the audio socket under the right (R) earcup, then connect the audio cable plug to your audio source.

HINTS AND TIPS
Turn on the power switch on the right(R) earcup to activate the noise cancelling function.

Cause Solution
Follow the diagram below to fold up your headphones.
Long-term exposure to loud music may cause hearing damage. It is best to avoid extreme volume when using earphones, especially for extended periods.
Incorrectly rotating the earcups can damage the headphones.
• For traffic safety, do not use earphones while driving or cycling.
• Avoid listening to sound at high levels for prolonged periods of time. Doing
so can damage your hearing.
• It is advisable to keep the volume at a moderate level at all times.
To reduce the risk of injury:
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not heat, open, puncture, mutilate, or dispose of batteries in fire.
• Do not mix new and old batteries or batteries of different types.
• Do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals on the device; they
can become hot and cause burns.
