Before commencing the installation and set up, please check that you

have all the items and familarise yourself with this Instruction Manual.

1. If your system is Windows XP Service
Pack I, please go to www.microsoft.com
to update your system to Windows XP
Service Pack II.

2. Please ensure you have Windows Media
Player Version 9 or above prior using
the bundled software ArcSoft WebCam
Companion 3.0.

INSTALLATION

ArcSoft WebCam Companion 3.0

1. In the main menu of the CD disc, select and
click on ArcSoft WebCompanion 3.

2. Select the language for this installation
and click OK to confirm.

3. Click Next and follow the instructions to
continue the installation.

4. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Insert the application disc into the CD-ROM.
The main menu of the CD will display on the
screen:

1. In the main menu of the CD disc, select and
click on

ArcSoft Magic-i.

2. Select the language for this installation
and click OK to confirm.

3. Click Next and follow the instructions to
continue the installation.

4. When bonus offers page appears you can
select the free and intro products that you
would like to download and install or click
Skip to skip it.

5. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Plug the webcam into a USB port.

1. Click on the “WebCam Companion 3” icon on the
desktop.

2. Click “Capture”.

3. Click “Capture” for capture image.

5. Click “Record Video” for recording.

4. Click “Burst” for sequential image
capture (5 images).
